Maui Jims are an example of getting what you pay for. Over the years I've purchased multiple pairs, and although Maui Jim's customer service is legendary, I didn't realize how far this service extended until I visited the home office at this location.

Being a customer for over a decade means I have several pairs of glasses that have become scratched, chipped, and otherwise well worn over the years. On my recent visit to Maui, I decided to bring three pairs of sunglasses with me; two that had been retired from being well worn, and my current pair in rotation. I took the worn pairs back to Maui Jim on the off chance that they could work some magic on them.

The charge on my first pair was $75 to replace lenses that had become scratched and chipped over a decade of use. When I picked it up, I was delighted that they had decided to replace the frame as well because it was so badly dinged up.

My second pair was so old that the model had been discontinued, and was therefore not repairable. The company offered to take back the old pair, and sell me a new pair for $75 - the cost of replacing the lenses.

They also reconditioned my current pair of glasses for free, i.e., removed minor scratches and chips on the lenses.

In all I walked out of the store with two new pairs of glasses and one restored pair for a total of $150 - less than the cost of one pair brand new. In exchange, Maui Jim has cemented me as a customer for life.

Best pair of sunglasses I have bought. I wear prescription and do some outdoor sports so I need a good fit and these are it! part of that is probably the shop I bought them from, whom did a good job of explaining the differences in the brands I was looking at, but i am also thrilled with the excellent customer service I just received. Kayla was Awesome and I will continue to buy from MJ.

Great place, great service, and they also have a public restroom.

They have a ton of selection in store. I drove here while on vacation to have them tighten up a pair I bought three weeks prior while still home. They weren't interested and didn't even wait until I finished explaining how they were a bit loose before I was cut off and told they wouldn't help me. "They sit on the face how they sit on the face" is what I was interupted with. Not what I was expecting.

Home of the original Maui Jim. Very friendly staff (and knowledgeable). Don't go expecting any discounts . Entire selection available.

I had a cracked lense and they fixed my glasses in a half hour. I think they gave me a brand new pair of sunglasses because the writing on the temple pieces is all there, these were at least 6 years old.

I was at the flagship sales office in Maui. The quality of Maui sunglasses is unsurpassed. The definition and contrast are superb.The product is US Manufactured in Peoria Illinois and receives my highest recommendation. Bill, the operations manager is knowledgeable and an entertainment piece. His staff well Informed, and they never stop smiling, even when they are slammed with business.

Love their glasses. Service was great. The wife and Inhad our glasses serviced, shebhad lenses replaced in one pair and we both bought a new pair tin take home with us.

Spent over one hour trying to send in glasses through the customer care portion of the website. After entering payment information 5 times with chrome and IE, the website froze each time at "processing request". I finally gave up.

Maui Jim's are the way to go. New lenses in two pairs of sunglasses in less than an hour.

It was our anniversary and I ll tell ya the young woman who serviced us was so patient and caring. That said the owner, old bald guy was a f%#* prick!!! He was trying to rush us out and honestly lucky I didnt cave his face in!!! Told him to show some aloha but you could tell he cared less about our money or time! Worst damn place to ever come back too!!! Wish I knew his name!

Love my sunglasses, wish they had ANY sort of warranty. The parking here was awful!

Last time in Maui I got a pair of Maui Jim's.
Well first I use them while fishing, and I gotta say that they work way better than my old glasses.

Now I find I am grabbing them for my driving up and down the mountain in the morning and evening in my car. They really cut the glare.

Ok so as any avid upland game hunter knows this year Dove opener fell on a 3 day weekend. So some yo yo shoots at a low flying bird and peppers me right in the face. Ok so the glasses probably save a visit to the emergency room and possibly my eyesight.
Best of all they aren't even scratched.

the first time I went into the store I did not have a great experience, however i knew Maui Jim was a great company so i went back in today and spoke with another rep. I don't know her name but she resolved my issue and changed my 1 star review into a 5 star review

Best warranty experience ever.
Finish started peeling away on 3 year old shades I wear everyday. Popped into MJ head office while on Maui > 30 minutes later I walked out with brand new frames. No muss no fuss.
Pays to buy quality!

If you have a pair or two check the out for adjustments or to get your lenses repaired for $70~. We always stop in for a cleaning and leave with like-new glasses.

Maui Jims give mis-leading information on their warranty period. Authorized vendors and retailers that sell Maui Jims say they have a lifetime warranty when in fact they do not. Not 1 retailer or vendor has told me otherwise. False information. BTW, customer service at the Lahaina shop so rude! She could care less when you told her that you were on hold for more than 25 minutes. I had to call back 3 times and selected the option to be connected to corporate and at last someone answered but not on Maui, it transferred me to another location and still didn't get the information I needed. Good product but you shouldn't bank on that, customer service makes a huge difference in someones decision to buy the product. Never buying Maui Jims products again! Too Bad So Sad!

The manager told me "last time were gonna be nice" Hillarious yet honest as I was a pesty customer that kept messing up my glasses. The service is impeccable and with strong local leadership this is a great place to shop for your new pair of Maui Jims or repair an existing pair! Good People and Good time visiting.

I had some Maui Jim's that were out of warranty and I was worried about them getting serviced. They took one look at them and realized it was a defect not attributable to me and 15 minutes later I had a new pair no cost to me. Staff was great.
