Food was out of this world. Fresh seafood. Staff was fantastic and very attentive. Our plates were cleared promptly and we were asked if we wanted drinks,desert,etc at the appropriate time without having to wait or flag down our waitress. Very impressed. Best place to eat if your in Rehoboth are IMO.

Don't order mixed drink, a simple bloody Mary cost $10.00.Not worth it at all. No prices on menu, beware. Food very good, better ask price first.

Definitely a nice place. Great seafood with several options for people who might not be inclined towards that type of food. Meal was served fairly quickly and the appetizers I tasted were excellent. Overall I'd give it an 8/10, only losing points for not the greatest atmosphere I've ever experienced.
It was incredibly expensive for such poor quality food. 140 dollars for 5 people. The clams were barely fried, you could taste the uncooked batter. The fish was soft and mushy. The fries were actually cold...the only good thing was the homemade soda. Seriously, if we weren't already driving away with the food we would have turned back and demanded our money back. If you order takeout there I would suggest you make sure the food is cooked before you leave. Will never eat there again, even though my brother has a place right near by and would be super convenient.
We came in today looking for fresh fish and were not disappointed. Appetizers of the chopped salad and mussels paired with crab cakes and traditional fish and chips were soon being guzzled - I exaggerate not, GUZZLED - by two hungry men and I don't mind telling you the sauce from the mussels was dripping down my chin as if I hadn't eaten in weeks. Friendly staff just rounded out the happy. Will come again.
There were eight of us and everyone loved their food and drinks. Service was great too. Highly recommend the lobster rueben and spicy strawberry margaritas!
Good food but the old women hostesses needs to work on customer service (cold and rude). Ill give 5 when she warms up and grows a personality!

Get the lobster Ruben, a signature dish. Sizable lumps of crab, a sweet Cole slaw, and bread beautifully buttered and toasted on grill. Real brewed root beer, tangy home-made pickles. Wife had a massive crab cake sandwich. I'm coming back!

This was our first time at Matt's Fish Camp but it won't be the last. We've already told friends and family about the great food. We're from New Hampshire and just love the crab dishes on the menu.
I had the buttermilk fried chicken... was delicious if you love gravy, but a little bland if you don't eat it with the gravy. Overall, it was a little pricey. I would definitely go back but i probably wouldn't make it priority over trying other new places.

This place was AMAZING!! Great service! They got us (a party of 3) our food in about 20 minutes on a VERY busy evening. Food came in large, delicious portions. Would definitely recommend for any Delaware vacationers looking for a bite!

A little expensive for a joint with formica booths. Good service. My salad and steamed clamp were good. Salad was large fresh and crunchy and not swamped with dressing. Son said his burger was dry (med well). Crab cake sandwich was tasty.

The food was very good, but they violated a cardinal rule of service. Don't drop off the appetizers and then drop off the entrees 2 minutes later. It would be nice to have time to enjoy the appetizers first. To their credit they did try to make amends and took 10% off the bill.

Don't let the exterior of this place fool you. It's not just another fish fry joint. You are in for a great meal! The fish here is just as fresh as can be and really excellent. Delicious hush puppies, refreshing creative cocktails, succulent sweet shrimp and yummy lobster rolls. For dessert go for the key lime pie. Jeremy is a key lime pie connoisseur. One bite and he fell in love.
UPDATE: We went back, 1 year later. Still great! This time there was a 45 min wait to get in and a line just to get into the parking lot. Guess everyone loves Matt's! This time we got yummy fried clams, delicious arctic char over a very tasty cheese grits and ratatouille, and some excellent crab cakes with fries and coleslaw. And, of course, the key lime pie. No reservations taken so go earlier than you want to eat and put your name in!

Excellent fare! We tried the grilled and smoked octopus....delicious! We had salads for our main course. My hubby had a wedge with lobster salad...magnificient! I had a crab cake on my chopped salad. Not that it wasn't good, because it was, but I wished I had ordered the lobster salad because it was soooo good! And the drinks we had were very yummy also! I had the Front Porch Rocker and my hubby had the Inlet Manhatten. We got there a little after 5pm and the dining room filled up quickly! So if you are considering this place for a meal, make sure you plan accordingly! But whether you have no wait or you have to wait a bit, it will be worth the wait! Sorry there are no photos to post, we were hungry and it all looked so good we couldn't wait to dig in!

Cute place, offers indoor and outdoor seating. All workers and cooks were wearing mask. Ordered the seafood stew $25, lobster reuben $25, a single crab cake $16 and a margarita $15. Lobster reuben was good but very heavy. Seafood stew needed more salt, didnt have much flavor, bread on top was floppy and was not toasted. The $16 crab cake didnt come with dipping sauce or even a single lemon. Margarita was overly sweet and watered down. Overall, very pricey for a very average meal.
I had the fisherman's stew, without linguine. What a great meal, fantastic! Not a big place but great food, and the servers were pleasant!! Looking forward to going back again before we leave!!

Disappointed with our trip to Matt's Fish Camp. Among other items, we ordered the Colossal Crabcakes and discovered shell in nearly every bite. After telling our server about our displeasure with this highly priced menu item, we were told that this is common due to the fact that "they are made with fresh crab".
Both my wife and I have eaten plenty of fresh seafood, including fresh crabcakes and other items made from crustaceans and have never experienced anything to this extent. Of the two crab cakes, we were able to eat less than 50%.
The one positive of the meal came in the form of the "dirty" brussel sprouts. These were a delicious combination of sweet and savory.
Attentive fast service. Shrimp in cheese grits was great! Consider the brussel sprout appetizer.
Had Lobster roll for $23.00 maybe 1/4 to1/2 cup of lobster. Great place to eat but the lobster roll is one big RIP off.

Monster sized onion rings, delicious grapefruit vinaigrette on my salad with grilled shrimp, a perfect slice of key lime pie. Fellow diners enjoyed the blackened tuna, fish and chips, and colossal crab cake.

Food was wonderful with a fun busy atmosphere, and the drinks were great. Our server Stephanie was a sweetheart with perfect recommerations, and she was very concerned with helping our friend that a bit of a watery eye. Will go back there for sure.
Matt's has become a regular stop for dinner while in Bethany. The food and service has always been good. It's just a very friendly and clean restaurant with a great menu.
Onion rings, phenomenal. Spicy strawberry margarita, on point. Crab cakes...OMGoodness! Server, attentive and delightful. Sweet potato gnocchi, epic fall. Overworked and chewy. Will we be back? ABSOLUTELY!!
