Starting to look for windows. Have no experience yet with this company. HOWEVER, a recent company reply to a one star review by Peter Bienkowski was so amazing and articulate I had to write to say "Good For You" Mathews Brothers Company.
Have since ordered Mathews Brothers replacement windows for my home.
Over the years we have installed various brands of new construction and replacement windows. A few are good quality and trouble free. However, sense discovering Mathews we strongly feel there is not a better quality window with the best energy ratings plus offered at a great value.
The windows offered by this company are the most beautiful, low/no maintenance new construction windows in the industry.
Most notably their Sanford Hills line of windows and optional 5/8" muntin bars (SDL's) coupled with the warm Duralite glass spacer makes this our go to window every time!
We bought 7 windows and had them installed in our home by a contractor. The windows are fine. However, the screens are the flimsiest, cheapest screens I've ever seen. We have cats who sun themselves on the window sills, and we can't let them with these cheap screens. The first day we had them, one of the screens ripped out in the bottom. We had it repaired, and it happened again....same thing with another screen. I contacted Mathews Brothers to see if they make a better screen. Someone named Karen, who didn't apologize or offer any sort of solution, said that's the only screen they make. From now on, we'll stick to Andersen or Paradigm windows.
Wish so much that I could recommend a U.S. based manufacturer but in this case I have to boycott and beg readers to do the same. The company does too much to support Scott Brown by advertising on Howie Carr. Brown is rabidly anti-U.S. worker. The company might reply "who cares if the product is garbage as long as they support scott brown." BUT THAT IS ACTUALLY MY POINT!!

Just installed 10 Mathews windows to replace some original wood windows in my home. Could not be happier, when I was looking at different windows I could not find a lot of reviews on Mathews Brothers, but talked to supplier who told me they had been getting lots of positive feed back from installers who had been buying them. The corners are really nicely finished the frames are sturdy. Some windows I looked at had oversized frames reducing glass, these are close to same glass size as original 1965 windows we replaced. Highly recommend!

I want to give a huge shout out to Eric, at Crescent Lumber Company, for managing my million questions. The customer service from Crescent to Mathews Brothers Company is by far the best I've ever seen. Today our windows were delivered with care. Upon arrival, I observed that 3 windows for the sun room had been sent with nail flanges. A quick call to Eric and he said I'm on it. Within minutes I received a call from Jordan, at Mathew Brothers, and then another call shortly after from another representative asking me if their tech could come make the necessary changes today. At this point I hadn't even made it to work and the issue was resolved. Mind blowing customer service. I strongly recommend buying your products locally.

Purchased a white vinyl patio door through my contractor and I am really impressed and very pleased! Nicely constructed door, good quality, with beautiful handle. The screen door is a typical screen door and has a nice push button locking mechanism. Overall I would highly recommend their products.
Purchased beautiful custom black on outside and white on inside windows and doors from Matthew Brothers and they sent sliding glass doors with white handles for both the outside and inside They want to charge me another $100 just for a black door handle which should've came with the door in the first place!
