The waiter we had was terrible.. Couldn't remeber our order, order came out wrong. When my wife ordered a seltzer with lemon 3 seconds later she dropped it off at the table beside us, that the customer had to ha d it back to us. Not once did she ask is the meal on or if we needed anything. She looked as she was on pills or stoned. When we were done my sons order we told her to wrap it up to take home. She never brought it back. Once we're were finished to pay the owner just ran our debit card through without a word to say. Didn't make conversation or ask how was dinner. The only good thi g was the cleanliness of the place is very good

We were in Massapequa for the first time and found this diner. It was very clean and the food was good. The only thing was our server was not attentive. You had to ask for anything extra. I will say though I am not sure if it was the owner or manager but he was very attentive and came to our table and asked if we needed anything. He was very friendly. Unfortunately our server was not. But other than that it was a good visit.

One of the best diners I have been to. I work over night, so being able to get a great burger or hot sandwich at 6 am is a dream come true. The food was excellent, and the service was great. What else do I have to say?

Really nice retro style Long Island diner. Other than the feel good stuff. The food is great. Menu selection is huge and the portions are very large. The chef's salad is enormous. The staff is friendly and efficient. They get you in and out quickly but don't rush you. The prices are good and parking is easy and close to the entrance.

Went for breakfast before catching the train (across the street) to New York City. Everything ordered was as expected. Would have liked a some powdered sugar on my French toast, but it was still good. Was seated fast and food came quickly. Was a good start to the day.

This is a nice diner. I've never been here before but it looks nice and new. The food I got was pretty good, mostly just a little messy. But going for a quick diner meal it did the trick. the staff seemed a little unhappy to be helping us, but maybe this was just a one time thing. I would suggest this location if you're looking for a good diner to go to.

Waited 40 minutes for breakfast when food came waited 10 minutes for toast and forgot one order of toast. Not the best. And a cheese omlete looked like it sat under warming lamp for ever. Won't be going back.

Best diner on long island!! Beautiful inside and out. Great food, service, friendly staff, and nice parking lot. Food is delicious at all hours, great menu, and many of the staff members have been here for years.

I ve been a returning customer of this establishment. It s disheartening to read these one star reviews about the food and it makes me question if it may be from bitter people. Every experience I ve had at Massepequa Diner has been by far amazing. The owner is always pleasant, the staff are always polite and helpful. No matter what you order, I promise you ll never be disappointed by the taste nor the price. My go to s: Penne ala vodka with chicken cutlet, rigatoni ala vodka with prosciutto (wonderful dinner specials that come with soup, salad AND dessert), the Buffalo wings, loaded potato skins, avocado toast, Turkey burger, sunrise stack pancakes are just a few things that are amazing here. My cousin and I live in Queens and travel to Massepequa because there s no other diner like Massepequa.

You get a lot of food for your money. The yia yia omelet tastes just like Spanakopita in an omelet. We're not potato people, next time we'll ask for a healthy substitute. The waiter said there were options. Only thing I didn't like was the toast wasn't pre buttered so it sits on the toast.

Everyone I have ever brought here loves pequa diner. Great food. A little pricey but worth it. Deals after 9pm on beer and apps. Love the staff. Sister diner is the Lindenhurst Diner which is equally as awesome. Love when they play oldies later at night

Hypacrical about covid rules. Made me walk to 711 to buy a mask. Which is fine to walk the two steps to the table (which is fine if you're going to enforce all the rules). Manger then proceeded to hug and high five other customers. Sat other patrons within 5 feet of me. Sperate note they made fun of me for having an onion allergy. I asked for a side of fries with my sandwich. They gave me onion rings and when I sent it back I hear them making fun of me for an allergy. How can you be in the food service industry and make fun of an allegery?

Did not like the food at all. Unfortunately I will not go back. Fries were soggy. Mataza ball soup was a combination of chicken noodle soup with matzo ball and the matzo ball did not taste right. No bread basket on the table.

I frequently order takeout from this diner and I m still waiting for my order to be correct atleast once. I ve seen an older man who handles takeout from my understanding actually pick the phone up and hang up immediately on people numerous times while I m there getting my food. On top of him babbling on the phone he seems very rude to his fellow employees.

Massapequa diner is the best diner in Nassau county! Always quick service and very well trained waiters and waitresses who know how to service you well. There's a reason why this place is busy all the time and the reason is because it's the best! Massapequa diner and the Oconi diner are among the two best diners on long island.

Whoever the actual owner or boss is. Sandra is absolutely amazing, you can tell that she loves what she does and this is more than just a job for her. She obviously enjoys making the customers feel welcomed and taken care of. She deserves employee of the year or something. Oh and the food is good too lol

Your standard Long Island diner in appearance. Service was fine, but the food was sub par. They start out strange, instead of bread for the table they serve a cold pasta salad. The pasta salad is essentially a small bowl of penne with bit of thousand island dressing on top. Odd and not all that good. I ordered from the pasta prix fix menu and it was just OK (bland and flat) but the included salad had browned lettuce in it. My kids were fine with the matzo ball soup (best cooked thing we ate!). My older sons burger was way overcooked and my younger sons pizza (from frozen) was way undercooked. Neither liked it much. The fries were fine. I picked a chocolate mousse tart for my included with meal dessert. It looked fine, but was completely flavorless and almost plastic like in texture. I don't expect much from a Diner, yet this one way underwhelmed me. You only get one first impression and this one was bad. We won't be going back...,.

Perfect 24HR diner! We came here on a late Sunday evening with a party of about 15 and the staff very quickly put together a table for us. Our server was more than polite and friendly and did not seem the least bit overwhelmed by our big party. She very efficiently and quickly took orders (about 6 split checks), all our food came out quick and no order was messed up. The best part... huge portions of delicious food! MUST COME!

I used to go to this diner all the time and never had any problems. About a year ago things started to go downhill. The quality of the food declined dramatically, the service became shoddy and slow, and the overall atmosphere became less inviting. At first it was just small things, but eventually things got worse. The final straw was when they never brought me my food over the course of an hour and a half, even though I had asked three separate waiters, a bus boy, and a manager. Im officially never going back here again.

Every time you eat here, there will be a mistake. Every time you order out from here there will be at least 3 mistakes. I am not picky at all, i rarely complain. This diner is just the worst of the worst. No more chances because it is just a waste of money.

This Massapequa Diner was so AMAZZZZING, it was better than eating in Little Italy, the meals are so BOG and the quality of food on top of the Choices are so Freaking Great. The staff is super COOL and FAST. It's better than any 5 star place I have eaten. My whole family Loves it and it our new Hot spot.

Food is always fresh and delicious. Service is quick and friendly. I m a regular at their other location in Lindenhurst ( The Lindenhurst Diner) and must say both places are at 5 stars. Definitely not your typical diner! I would recommend both places!

Years ago, when we first moved in, we were disappointed by this dinner. We tried it out again is November and they won us over. The food and service are great now. We have been back several times and have not been let down.

My go to diner even though I pass two others on the way to it. Worth the extra 5 minutes, trust me. Family run, open late like diners should be. The Ruben sandwich and Ruben's cousin are great, love all the appetizers. Omelets seem to have half a dozen eggs in them, massive. Burgers are great too, hard to go wrong here, even the customers are nice. Once had an middle aged man pay for my families dinner without even knowing it. Just said I had a beautiful family on his way out then the waiter told us what he had done!
