Old school layout at it s finest. Great rolling terrain, big undulating greens with plenty of trees to keep you honest. Staff is exceptionally accommodating. Go play it. You will enjoy your day there. It s a wonderful golf club.

Hidden Gem! One of the prettiest parkland golf course I have ever played! You could take a picture from the tee box on almost every hole! The greens and bunkers are big and well maintained! There's enough up and down in the topography to make it interesting! I'd highly recommend playing this track with your buds!

Stopped in on 04/10 and I was looking for a specific winter golf glove and they had it! The Pro and his assistant were very friendly! The pricing was what I'd expect it to be>Very Fair. Great People and layout!

We've been supporting this golf course for the last 30 years. In the last 5 years they have become less and less accommodating, less welcoming with the attitude that they really don't need or want our business. Quite frankly we'll spend our time and money at Lawsonia Woodlands and Links.

Great course to play. One of the better golf courses in the area. Beautiful surroundings and a clean country club. If you enjoy golf, this IS the one to join. A full membership offers many privileges. Highly recommended.

The only reason I am giving a 1 star rating is because it doesn't go any lower. I am the well-respected, professional, 55 year old mother on crutches referred to in previous posts.I waited to provide my review in case time softened my perspective. 4 weeks later it hasn't.
I have NEVER been treated so poorly anywhere as I was at Mascoutin during the WIAA Regional Golf Tournament. I was publically screamed at and humiliated multiple times by paid representatives of the course to the point of tears.
4 days prior to this event I began chemotherapy. I was scheduled for surgery the week following the competition and was on crutches with extreme pain and difficulty walking. I had a WI state issued disability drivers license and paperwork from WIAA allowing disabled spectators to purchase a cart to use during WIAA golf events albeit always at the courses discretion.
When I inquired about renting a cart I was told they were not allowing spectator carts because the courses were too wet. I said that I had a disability permit and required paperwork and before I could finish my sentence, the woman behind the counter rudely said 'I told you no carts' as she picked up the phone. I left the Pro Shop without another word spoken.
Our coach prefers to walk and declined his cart that day and said that if it was a matter of the number of carts on the course that I could use his. I headed back to the Pro Shop to ask about using his cart. The Pro Shop was extremely busy. I waited my turn in line and before I could even say a single word, the woman behind the counter looked at me and in a very rude manner said 'What do you want now!'. I asked about using the coach's cart and without saying a word to me, starts screaming for the mgr/owner as she's running toward the door. He's yelling as he enters the Pro Shop saying that I'm not a coach and if he saw me in a cart he would confiscate it and I would be 'outta here'. I then asked if it was too wet, why are there dozens of golfers driving on the course. Again I was screamed at and told they had paid tee times and the cart is part of their greens fees. Realizing that the greens fees help pay for the upkeep of the course and there is a significant price difference between a spectator cart and a round of golf, I said that I'd like to purchase an 18 hole round of golf. The 'gentleman' then screamed at me 'I'm not discriminating!". (Not sure where this comment came from?). "I've told you 10 times you're not getting a cart!". Keep in mind, I'm on crutches near tears in a crowded Pro Shop with everyone staring. I'm embarrassed, humiliated and disappointed. I left and made my way out to the first tee to watch my son and the rest of the golfers tee off. I was disappointed, but wanted to put the incident behind me and focus on the high school golfers. All I wanted was to watch my son play golf.
Hours later I was outside having lunch and a soda when someone approached me and said that the mgr/owner was upset with me because of what I was posting on social media. I explained I hadn't posted anything and I was using my phone to watch the scores as they were being posted. I was then told that if I continued to be disruptive and unruly I would be asked to leave. Let me reiterate. I was sitting at a table, for over 3 hours by myself, spending $ at this establishment on food and soda, not talking to anyone and unaware of what was transpiring on social media. I was NOT disruptive or unruly.
I have never posted a negative review until now. I personally feel that bad experiences should be directed to the establishment with an opportunity to correct. The management of Mascoutin could have handled this professionally in a number of different ways. Screaming, humiliating and threatening to remove a disabled 55 year old mother from the premises during WIAA Regional competition was surprising to all who witnessed it.
After years of golfing here, the only way I will be back is if the WIAA decides that the path to University Ridge travels through Mascoutin.

Course was in great shape. My 3 star rating stems from the fact that they allowed a group of five older guys to golf in one group which caused a backup the entire 18 hole round. Four of the guys played from carts and one walked. Our foursome waited on every hole as we were obviously faster than this group but were never asked if we wanted to play through. My suspicion is that these were club members and they didn't feel as though they had to follow course etiquette. They also rode their carts where signage clearly indicated that carts were to stay on the cart path. Please know that I've also golfed in a group of five (in the past). However, if a group caught up with us, we let them play through. This was very disappointing to have happened on such a nice course. Our money and time should be just as valuable as any other group.

Beautiful course with challenges 4 all levels of golfers. Great programs, even kids. Well-maintained grounds. Monday evening Women's league, no club membership required, includes weekly mini group lesson. Two golf pros run the course and they know their stuff!

Course was in great shape and played nicely. Would play again. Green fee costs were a little higher than anticipated but could tell the course was cared for for the price. Was surprised it was 27 holes!!!!!

I love this course it is a bit long for my game but being high and dry the rollout makes up for the distance my first time playing here and shot a great score for being the first round, the staff is excellent and professional , no rangers which would have been nice since the group of 4 would not let us pass but it was a beautiful day and nobody was in a hurry so no big deal,Bev cart was out and very quick to refill our drinks I will be playing at mascoutin very soon and often
