The agreement was to provide advertisement for my ...

The agreement was to provide advertisement for my company that was approved by me. They never sent me any proofs; nor did they follow up by phone or email. I chalked it up as a loss.

After months I started receiving invoices.

I finally replied and told them to stop spamming me with this invoice; I wasn t their customer, nor had I been provided a service. They told me I was outstanding on my balance.

Confused, I told them to provide evidence. They quickly sent me a phone message where I agreed to their services, but on the same message they said they would provide advertisement for me to review prior to issue - which I never received. They were so aggressive with showing me where I consented on the phone; it was literally appalling. So cavalier and matter of fact - here s the phone message where you provided consent . Who uses the word consent when referring to sales?

I was fed up and asked them to send me a copy of the advertisement. They provided me a copy. They had gone on my Facebook and ripped off a bunch of old photos; none of which were relevant anymore. A logo that was outdated and no longer indicative of our company. Furthermore, it didn t have an email or website address. It is worthless to me in every way.

I told them I wouldn t pay. I asked if I didn t pay would they send me to collections, they said yes . I paid them over the phone immediately and told them never to call me again.

I then sent an email to the salesman that had originally called me and outlined how everything went wrong.

He called me back. I told him the whole story again with his colleague in the room. They listened and offered to provide additional advertising (with the same incorrect advertisement). Yes, you heard me correctly - instead of offering some form of discount, concession, or refund; they chose to offer me a more voluminous approach to my advertising with the same WRONG ADVERTISEMENT.

As a small business owner, I have never received a bad review online. However, I never accept money from unhappy clients. I ve taken it on the chin multiple times when I screwed up or my team screwed up. Mascot Media s incentive for business is commission based; not customer based.

They don t care about you business. These guys are clowns.

I wish I would ve looked at the reviews before I did business with them. Unless you have a bunch of money to blow and get no return on investment then don t do business with these people. The toyal payment came out to more than I was told and so I requested a payment schedule because I was in my slow winter months. But not much mercy at all from them and was told I could pay $300 a month and no less or they would send me to collection agency immediately. They told me they were very lenient with payments so I thought well worst case I could pay them $100 a month because that s the impression they gave me. Just over all bad business. When it came time to pay they became totally different people than when they first talked to me. And I just don t like doing business with leeches. They get as much out of you as possible and don t give anything in return. I m actually marveled that they are still in business.

This company truly goes above and beyond for the schools and students that they serve. The level of detail and accuracy that is needed for the posters, schedule products and tickets products is astounding, and yet Mascot Media consistently achieves those goals, and donates these products to the schools. It s also very involved with the local community, providing posters to help get the word out about our amazing sports teams and players in the area.

If you re an athletic director at a school, going with Mascot media to market and promote your games and your student athletes is a total no brainer. It costs the school very little or nothing in most cases, and yet they get so much value. The students get to see themselves represented in print, and that s extremely exciting for every student featured on a poster or in a program. Highly recommend Mascot Media to boost excitement and engagement with student athletes and their fans, parents and family.

I personally had the pleasure to work with this company for five years. Not only do they go above and beyond for their clients/customers but are very understanding on what they want and need for schools that they get the honor to partner with. Great place to work as well top of the line employees that strive to help you succeed. Definitely would recommend to a friend to work there as well any business to advertise with and sponsor a school at the same time. It's a win win!!

These guys tried to sell me on some advertising. I stated to please send me information and I will make a decision as I don't just take someone's word for something over the phone. I received a bill and now I am still fighting after receiving Zero paperwork, zero explanation of advertising in writing. I am refused any answers. This is a scam, please be aware.

The way this company is willing to go above and beyond for the schools and their communities, is nothing short of extraordinary. Since it is a small company, everyone is like family. Everyone looks out for one another.

I agree with everyone else. Called us while we were still opening our space (not even open yet). We agreed to do ONE SEASON because we were just opening and didn't want to commit to a lot of advertising not knowing exactly what we could do/couldn't do. Guy said they would send us an email for graphics, never heard from them until we got the poster and they wanted money. Tried to contact them through their website (which their website wont pull up half of the time I try to get on it!) and they wouldn't respond to that, but still obviously had my number to call and harass about payment even though I'd sent in a million things about not receiving email to send in artwork, ect. Then get a call stating I owe WAY MORE than I originally did. Find out they've signed me up for 3 more seasons I didn't commit to. I know they are going to post "we had a verbal agreement" However, our phone records conversations as well, and guess what WE HAD A VERBAL AGREEMENT FOR ONE SEASON. It was stated multiple times on my end as I have listened to our recording. I got recording on our phone lines for this very reason. Sent in a request that next seasons be removed as we never agreed to it, and silence on their end again..... Such a rip off.
