A very generous and warm, and welcoming mosque. It shows that the community has contributed tremendously to make this beautiful masjid on such spacious and well kept grounds! Thursday Iftars are so generous. The only problem is that the children need to be managed. Lack of discipline unfortunately. Great great community, and a beautiful masjid. May Allah always bless it!!!!

If most of us have brains that made us move to lands of riba, then surely the same brains will tell us to do more wickedness that we feel are okay becaus the same brains made us make war against Allah and his messenger like it's normal. Therefore,we must strengthen our Deen by going to the masjid regularly and study Quran and not go to masjid regularly to escape the harassment from kufr or when there's nothing else to do at home or to "infiltrate the Muslim brotherhood " for money or scholarships like the kapos. Yes,no one expects us to act like sahabas when we make war against Allah and his messenger with riba that we pretend is not riba. But go to the masjid regularly to learn Quran and not do the same thing that our brains do regularly,so that Allah the often merciful, most gracious may forgive us and change our brains and guide us on the path to Jennaat. Otherwise, when we see the war of Allah and his messenger comes,we should not be surprised .

A house of Allah anywhere on earth must be taken cared of by Muslims. This one like many is being cared for by good Muslims. But there are very few of them. So you need to get out of hiding in your homes and go to a house of Allah. And secure your Deen. Because if you don't the hezbokaffir will use many ways to stop Quranic memorization, Quranic Schools, and anything for your Deen. Just look at what happened to masjid Hamza's regular Quranic classes, now gone after being overran by hezbokaffir. Those very few who Care for houses of Allah are on daily threat from being socially disdained thru taxpayers paid gossips and plain old backbiting lies. The hezbokaffir come to America and can feed themselves and send their children to school. But they want to have brand new cars and their children to have luxurious things and universities. So they spy in masajids. I have seen grandfather to grandson spying in masajids . They're not protecting from terrorism. They're driving away new Muslims out of masajids like what they did to me outside and inside a house of Allah and turn Muslim youths into hezbokaffir like themselves like what has been happening for years. Now do you want your children to help drive out new Muslims out of masajids? And grow up as kaffir with Muslim names (someone who loves the kufr more than Allah)? Now go to a house of Allah and occupy it like it is a house of Allah cared for by pious Muslims as Quraan commanded you.

A clean facility with nice architecture. Spacious with plenty of room. The imam has a beautiful voice and the teachings of the Quran in English is well done. The women's prayer room is a disgrace. Women talking throughout and children running everywhere. I can for taraweeh and was eager to hear the lesson of the night only to get aggregated and leave disappointed. when addressed the answer was this is a house of god. Especially since this is a house of god there needs to b a need for respect and order. Sad to see how far behind we are still as a community.

I'm from another state, and had been searching for a masjid. When I arrived here, everyone smiled and greeted me. The facility and prayer halls are well kept, clean, and inviting. There are classes advertised with clear information. When I came here, I felt like I was coming home.

It is a beautiful big mosque. I can here to offer Juma prayer. There are separate Hall's for men and women and for women there are two Halls. One has chairs and other is a big hall upstairs. There are washroom and ablution area. Shoe rack. And the mosque is very clean. Then I came to know that it's not only a mosque but also a Islamic center and a very good high school. The school is very nice. It has a big playground also. Children learn Quran as well as worldy knowledge. And are trained to offer prayer also. This concept is very good. And there must be more like this one there are also boutique room inside and storage room. People sell homemade food outside the mosque. The construction is nice. For prayer it's nice. The Friday addressing was also very interesting.

it's been a while I am looking a Quranic school for my 5 years old Daughter Mahia Ahmed, through online search I found Houston Quran Academy, during one weekend I flew to Houston to visit the location, the Quran Academy located at the same campus of MAS Katy Center, there is a very big and beautiful masjid, very neat and clean, big parking lot. The masjid and Quran academy located at a very upper level neighborhood. I prayed dohor prayer in the masjid. We are trying to move there so my daughter can go to Houston Quran Academy, may Allah make it easy for us!!!

I brought my kids to learn Arabic , later she said they learn about Islam! My kids didn't learn one Ayat or sourat it's a shame, they don't teach them at all, they ask them to write some words without explaining to them what they are writing they just take money! I don't know about others but I am talking about Sunday school! Why Muslim they don't take education seriously in the mosque! For me the mosque should put teacher who are qualify to teach children! Not going to pass time chatting one hour break ! Those people don't want Muslim children to be smart! !

Beautiful newly built building. Very modern and a great place to worship! The only bad thing is the parking during Friday prayers.....it gets so packed that getting out after the prayers are done takes so long....I got stuck an hour waiting!

Tiny but a slowly growing ahlus sunnah wal jama'a community mashaa Allah. M.A.S. Katy Center consists of a Masjid(the new main hall is now under construction and in need of donations) , a Learning Center, al -Huda University for Islamic studies , 1st -11th grade high school producing A+ students , Qur'an Academy with ijazah , Halaqa classes , Outdoors-indoors Youth Activity Center , a large Day-Care Center , a large Cafeteria that serves friendly iftar meals on every Thursday for the community members and their guests . The imam , the Instructors at the university and the high school and the administration folks are highly educated, dedicated brilliant, very hard working individuals , with some being graduates of Al -Azhar and of other well recognized universities , with some having earned their PhDs and many are Hafidh al Qur'an mashaa Allah. If you enjoyed reading this post please ' LIKE ' it. Thank you

Alhamdulillah! I am so glad to be part of the community being served by this center. It is a beautiful and well-planned center with masjid, school, ample parking space, big playground and a multi-purpose hall. It is clean and well maintained. The management is very friendly. There are lots of activities for the enrichment of our soul and body for all age groups. If you live in and around Katy, you should visit this place, you will love it. You can thank me later :)
