I first heard of Marygrove at their annual bloom event and was overwhelmed at their efforts to help children in abusive homes, and suffered from trauma. They provide a home, schooling and therapy for children and young adults who have been through unimaginable living situations. This organization is professional and their staff is dedicated to do whatever it takes to help improve and change their lives. I love Marygrove!

I hope whoever reads this will spread the word and help Marygrove continue their efforts to help children have an opportunity to have a healthy and safe future.

I've been a volunteer at Marygrove for 8 years, and love going there every week. They really care about their kids and do a wonderful job of creating a home where all of them can feel accepted and valued. It's great to be part of an organization that serves some of our region's most vulnerable kids and gives them hope for the future!

Great place to send homeless youth, Marygrove provides clothing, food and shelter to those in need (and it's all free!!!) and therapy is a big part of the program! They have therapists that meet with the youth to ensure they are healing from past traumas. They also have case managers that help the youth get enrolled in school, and apply for any community resources.

As I've come to know Marygrove over the past six months, I've been consistently blown away by how dedicated the staff is to helping children who are in some of the most difficult situations imaginable.

I've met Marygrove's therapists (who each only have a small group children assigned to them so that they can really focus on them and their families if possible) and they are so committed and caring. I've seen staff members take on extra duties without a second thought, because this place is important to them.

I was introduced to the overall mission of 'trauma-informed care' and I believe it is the best answer to the difficult question of how to help traumatized and abused children. I would encourage anyone to visit and learn more for themselves. A very worthy organization.
