Cozy elegant great local clean service and the ice cream was great

very good desserts and nice staff but I have evaluated this hotel with a star because of the cashier ... an annoyed and not very welcoming person ... think that I didn't know that to use the tables you had to ask for it when making the receipt and so I kindly asked to pay extra to be able to sit but the answer was negative ... we found ourselves having breakfast standing with a 2 year old child and with so many free tables ... unacceptable!

Nothing to complain about the elegance of the place, nor obviously about the quality of the desserts (excellent pasticciotto and ice cream ok). Too bad that all this is nullified by the total disorganization of this specific exercise. The service is almost non-existent, you can sit at a table and wait half an hour before someone notices you. We only managed to get served by dabbing at least 3 waiters, and the place wasn't even full ...

For gourmands it is useless to turn. I highly recommend the ice cream and pasticciotto they make in their laboratory. Prices in the norm even if it is a vacation spot. Seeing is believing.

Fantastic ice cream and pasteries! Great for breakfast. Just bear in mind that it can get very busy during summer and waiting times increase.

Cold place, without any heating, inefficient service ordered an aperitif with 4 euros of really poor saucer and mostly with a lot of oily stuff.

Known for years, this year it is confirmed TOP.
To me who are from the North, it doesn't even seem expensive (typical of tourist resorts) nor expensive (characteristic, this, typical of quality).

Mega cone 3 flavors with cone with chocolate, Nutella filling and a disproportionate amount of ice cream ... 3.00: it's the Martinucci cone !!!

Martinucci has, in my opinion, the best ice cream in Puglia if not in Italy. Trained and educated staff, ready for any need. Both sweet and savory are excellent and varied. The ice cream shop also has an area abroad where you can enjoy your ice cream.

Apart from the waiting time, they didn't have bananas for the banana split, neither strawberries for the Romanov nor yogurt for the yoghurt cup. :)

The quality of Martinucci having breakfast on the beach ... exceptional ... sure that if the patrons increase a little, the staff easily goes into crisis!

I have been coming on holiday to Lido Marini for 11 years and I know that every year the amount of ice cream on the cone decreases more and more, if you ask for a glass of water they give you a glass of coffee also they save them and look at you wrong . You can't sit on sofas and often people are grumpy .., Go back to the origins when you cared more about your customers

Excellent pastry and ice cream parlor. The salted part is also good. Ideal for a snack, for the after-beach and for evening ice cream. Very busy in the evening.

Unfortunately not more than one star because in 2019 with all the intolerant people there are unthinkable that a company like this neglects and describes certain types of customers.
Not recommended for those who have intolerances ... In my case celiac disease.

Pastry bar with typical Salento products. The brioches are very good. Local with tables both inside and outside with table service.

Chaotic and disorganized many people but there seems to be no logic in the service. At 9.30 I had finished the croissants or rather they only had two choices, we had to move and repeat the order three times (cappuccini cannolo croissants). Good quantity of the product.

Long wait, hot cheesecake and almost melted ice cream, little choice of fruit ice cream and finally inexperienced staff; unfortunately it is the only chain of ice cream shops in the area, elsewhere, where there is competition between ice cream shops, it would be in the last places for the goodness of the ice cream, this in my opinion.

I ate a fabulous cassata type cake and I had no doubts about its goodness! More attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the bathrooms, as not all people are respectful and polite

Pastry and ice cream shop in Lido Marini, municipality of Ugento, province of Lecce. An activity to visit without hesitation and to taste all their products, in particular pasticciotti and Gelati. For both products you will have a wide range of choices, but know that everything is good and delicious. Recommended.

Products now from large distribution, but having no competition, they are good, I recommend the chocolate cake or crepes cake with pistachio and chocolate ... And the various pasticciotti of all tastes .. Now in Salento Martinucci is like mac donalds ... A guarantee on the taste you will find ..
They may be rude, but I still recommend it.

It is a true temple of local pastry and delicatessen. Incredible variety of desserts, starting from the typical pasticciotto (here proposed in infinite variations), to get to pastries and cakes (ice cream and not) phenomenal. Many flavors of homemade ice cream. The salt offer is less extensive but considerable and of high quality. Good quality / price ratio. Ideal for take-out, before going to the nearby beach. Local open until late, with large and welcoming outdoor space.
Absolutely unmissable to have an overview of the sweet and salty gastronomy of Salento.

I check 2 stars not for ice cream, pastries and delicious fried foods but for what happened to me and that is: the last day of a nice holiday we went to have breakfast at the martinucci headquarters in Lido Marini, we took 16 pasticciotti to take away and I paid 1.80 cents per pasticciotto unlike what the price list said 1.50 cents. I asked the girl who ordered breakfast and pasticciotti for an explanation and she replied that with the packaging (it was not travel-specific) they cost 0.30 cents more. Having already paid, I preferred not to question and we left. Surely it was a theft because in the Torrevado office I never paid a cent more for either the service or the take-away. Emeriti thieves ... I will never return
