Karen & Jurge welcomed me as i entered the restaurant. Very friendly. I had an Italian Prosecco & my friend had pinot grigio. We had arancini balls & delicious scoglio (linguine marinara) & beautiful whiting...amazing food & service.

Four of us went for lunch on the cold wintery day of Wednesday and I have to admit we picked a great spot. The food was outstanding not one complaint from any of us. Unfortunately they were running a bit late due to only having one Chef on, but they apologised and offered a top up of our wine glasses which was lovely. The staff were great. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars it was a little bit too loud due to the wooden flooring, but am definitely going back. Oh by the way Chef first time I have had gnocchi that was better than my mums thank you.

Today (18/7/19) I went in & had a cappuccino & a tiramisu, oh boy I wasn't disappointed, the coffee was nice & hot, the way I like coffee to be, the cake was simply devine. The service was brilliant, the girls that served me were welcoming & friendly, there should be more like them! I went in because I was too early for an appointment & I felt like a coffee & cake, I'm very very impressed with Martinis, so much so that I intend to go there for lunch soon.

Firstly, it is a fine restaurant, but they were not at their finest during our lunch for four. Chef & propietor, Larry, is a wonderful bloke, we had a nice chat & I wish I could provide a better review, but, HE, afterall, did the preparation. The renovations may be smart & modern, but I felt they lacked charm, the ambience lacked warmth & a little sterile. Again, it is a fine restaurant with fine food, but I must disagree with their web page & own words as I did not find it a unique experience of international flavours, more provincial than adventurous. The service was good, but a little forced & going through the motions, perhaps we were too dull as patrons to warrant better. I know new staff need to be trained, but three trainees during lunch on our table? Inappropriate, I thought, considering the reputation of this establishment. The food was good, but nothing special, but the short black that arrived for my partner would barely fill a teaspoon, WAY, too short & this was unforgivable. I would still recommend people try this venue, it has an excellent reputation,, but we four may give it a miss in future. Cheers.

This is the place for a genuine quality Italian food experience. I recommend that you order a starter of Pecorino Sardo to have while waiting for your main course. The pecorino is the real thing from Sardinia. I also recommend a bottle of Sardinian red to match your Italian food. Very good wine at a sensible price. Our main courses were very good. The restaurant is located on Norwood Parade which can be busy. I recommend driving around to their ample rear parking then walking through their undercover mall which is handy if it's raining.

Disappointed. Had work Christmas lunch here recently. Ordered the Scoglio which on the menu said "king prawns" but when the dish came out there were a few shrimps. That's false advertising. The food was also lukewarm.

Just wow! We celebrated Valentine's Day at Martinis and we had the most amazing dinner. I'd reccomend getting the Un po troppo. You get a massive selection of the chefs best dishes to share. Pair it with the Fiano (white) or San Giovese (Red) You definitely won't regret it!

Have to say that the food was lovely.... as was the staff ...... but .... entrees arrived before drinks, entree arrived one arancini short ( served 5 minutes later on a plate with no sauce ), skewers served to us, not for us ( wrong table)!
Lovely steaks but waited 10 minutes for accompanying mash, asked four waiting staff where it was! Arrived lukewarm.
All in all, a fairly good evening but would not revisit.

Also, it has to be said that due to the flooring it is very noisy, probably not a problem for many people but we found it difficult to have a nice dinner conversation.

Took a group of 8 people there friday ...I was telling them it was a good place.... my mistake ... certainly gone down hill...service wise... wine not available off their own list .( so no riesling at all ! ) .with dan murphys just up the road ! .. no attempt to get any... desserts off menu .. not available ... get your pasta... no bread ... no parmesan in fact nothing at all... anyway saved me about another $300 off the bill and wont be back unless they can hire some staff who can do the job . Sorry to see what was a good place turn to rubbish... about the only thing the same was the noise level... which I doubt will ever be addressed ...happy to put up with that if they can get back to what they used to be like

Martini restaurant offers so much but always leaves me wanting. Food is very good but the wait time is not acceptable. It's neither restaurant nor cafe but halfway between . The concept needs work. Norwood needs Martinis to round out its food offerings. It is ideally located and staff genuinely care but there always seems to be a shortfall in the delivery. Try it and see. Perhaps I have only experienced busy nights? It's worth a go. Prices are competitive.

Disgraceful service. I was in a group and my order was misplaced. Main course came out significantly later than all others. By then most of the side dishes purchased for the table had been expended. I m a slow eater anyway, and by the time I had completed my main course almost all of my companions had departed. Waitress decided I wasn t eating fast enough and tried to take away my meal. No chance for dessert, coffee, or chat. This ruined the atmosphere of the occasion. A most un-enjoyable meal. Never again.

This was our first Italian meal for a while, but I really wanted something a bit special, and hopefully a bit authentic (like Nonna used to make ). Very pleased to find an excellent menu with a few long-forgotten favourites. The staff were very friendly (personable), which contributed to a very pleasant evening overall.

What an amazing restaurant, service is amazing, chefs in the kitchen cook authentic rustic Italian food. When you book ask the staff to prepare the goat leg, its out of this world. The only thing this place is missing is hammocks, so I can enjoy my food coma afterwards.

Amazing! Amazing food, amazing Chef. Cooking with complementing elements for all the dishes we ate. Chefs surprise menu was absolutely devine, and was more than accommodating of GF options, and I'm sure more dietary options if requested.

We just had a meal at Martini and it was sensational. We had bread, entree and mains and we could not fault anything. It was also nice to have good service which seems hard to find now a days. The young man who served us was great. Thankyou so much.

One of the Parades signature establishments. What the kitchen produces is very good combined with the service and fit out makes a great experience.

If your in the area you will struggle to find better.

Terrible service unfriendly staff in back area. Limited menu ate sooo much bread. Forgot to ask us if we wanted refreshment for 1 hrs while waiting for meal!!!! And never adked during main meal....Friend attended resturant 40 minutes after us but had his meal served before us. A table of 12 walked out as they were feed up with service to.
Not the resturant that it once was!!!!

Nice restaurant, friendly staff and good food. Quite expensive for what you get but it was very tasty. It was a bit loud in there and while they had specials for the evening, there was no specials board so it was only rattled off by the staff. For reference, the T bone pictured was $45 and the squid $32.
