I am completely disappointed in myself and this company. I should have read the reviews before I paid for poor quality leads which have produced not one viable client. I have only been with the service for a very short time, but I can already tell this won't end well. I advise any attorney; especially if you are new, to not do business with this company. They are quick to take your money, but slow to issue a credit, because apparently they don't do refunds.

LAWYERS STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!! SCAMMM A person named Matthew Curto had someone call me for my business and then they spent time selling me their product and then said they have no cases available
After 20 years+/- with Nolo, it comes as a shock to learn that Martindale has stepped in and apparently has an opaque and unresponsive billing system, fails to account for its product and seems to think that they have no accountability to their clients whatsoever. I doubt that this review will ever see the light of day, so I will be repeating it in each and every legal user forum available. Bottom line: Martindale-Nolo does not run a professional operation, and doesn't seem to care. This site won't allow zero stars, but that's the most accurate rating for these Martindale-Nolo services.. Jerry Grainger Law Offices of J.P. Grainger
This company failed to keep its promise to give me a $200 credit. Then it helped itself to a substantial amount of money on my debit card, and now it is not returning my calls.
They would get a poor review even without this issue. The referrals they sold to me were almost all bogus.
I have tried the lead generating service on several occasions. The leads are useless, and most of the time unrelated to the legal practice area. Also, most of the time, the phone numbers do not work, or no one answers. I would save your money.
Martindale-Nolo is the embodiment of sales over service. Months after terminating a lead campaign that failed to generate a single, viable lead in three months, I kindly requested a refund. At the start, I requested no more than eight to twelve leads per month. However, my staff and I poured over nearly fifty leads in almost sixty days. We were drowning in subpar, irrelevant leads with generic or incorrect case information. Furthermore, we would contact leads within minutes or hours of a submission, but many leads would not answer their phones, respond to emails, or have the courtesy to return our inquiries. We do not do "bulk" at my firm, so we generously agreed to accept approximately a dozen leads per month as an experiment. Thirty days and thirty leads later, I pulled the plug as we spun in circles sifting through the chaos and my budget was quickly exhausted. I kindly requested a refund and that Martindale Nolo never contact me again for future services. Fast forward to today. Martindale Nolo (a sales representative, not a bulk email) has now contacted me three times since I pulled the plug. Martindale Nolo and the faceless sales representative army that they employ to con attorneys into joining the Martindale empire clearly don't get the picture, so I feel compelled to leave a review now. I'm also still waiting on that refund. Stay far, far away from these guys. I fail to see how any pay-per-lead service remains viable for attorney advertising unless your focus (too) is sales over service. Needless to say, that's not the right fit for us.
Judgment obtained against Martindale-Nolo Legal Marketing Network. After I contracted with Martindale-Nolo Legal Marketing Network to obtain leads of potential clients, it quickly became evident that the leads I received were not of the quality, which I was led by the marketing rep to expect. Not a single lead provided to me resulted in a paying client or any other benefit. After complaining with no resolution, I sued the company and obtained a Judgment, including treble damages under the South Carolina Unfair Trade Practices Act.
