It is the best place to start volunteering work. They are kind and very friendly in Martha's kitchen. I started volunteer work there ten months ago. I am going every week. I hope to go for long time. We are working and talking together. We have coffee and candy for breakfast. We have lunch after finishing work. I hope to see you there.
The food good there.. try city team on thanks giving day.. they fed all day.. then serve dinner at 5.. you can eat all you like plus take food home.. the food is very good as homeless food go.. I say this is one of the best places to rat in santa Clara.. it off Old Oakland and commercial.. city team ministry

Found out about this place when I could not leave food donations for 2nd harvest. Didn't know it was available and I highly recommend lending a hand here
This place has a good amenities. Also, the food is really tasty. The staff is really helpful.
In former years it was better. They're still helping the needy though..

Enjoy volunteering for Sal, got to meet Bill also. Kitchen on a professional level, it was a productive day cleaning carrots for laters dinner. Hope I get to do it again soon
They are very nice people trying to help people that are in need. There is a lot of homeless out there that don't have a hot meal. They said that they welcomed everybody.
