Marriott's Ocean Pointe Palm Beach Shores Reviews

I am an owner at a few Marriott Vacation Club locations and also an owner of their points program. We bought here in 2006 ocean front 2 bedroom platinum season. Love it. Never miss our week here.
If you re on the fence about where to vacation, don t pass this resort up. You are going to love it here. These past few days I have been in the Cobia Building room 5412 ( it is a 3 bedroom 3 bath unit). And these photos are from the main room patio. So beautiful. So much to do here!!!

I ll be in the kingfisher building tomorrow and will update you with view from that building.

YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MARRIOTT RESORT.

Staff is wonderful. Facilities wonderful. Location fantastic I ll share some views of other localities/places in the coming days. So check it out if interested.

Came here for some local snorkeling and to celebrate our 30th anniversary, it was awesome! The staff was great, view amazing and facilities top notch. Perfect place to start your post Covid travel!

Had a great stay here! Super friendly staff and very accommodating! The hotel is well maintained and the facilities were very clean! The beach is (in my opinion), one of the best kept secrets in South Florida. This beach is the farthest east you can go in the State of Florida. North of this beach, the coastline slopes northwest. South of this beach, the coastline slopes southwest. This gives the beach an extra special quality and gives it a unique designation. If you are in the area, you should also check out Blowing Rocks beach just north of here for another very unique Florida beach

We enjoyed our stay . The room and the grounds where beautiful and well maintained. Our stay was relaxing . We loved the view from our balcony. We where on the end by the inlet which we thought was too far away but turned out to be perfect. We had a view of the ocean with out the strong ocean breeze. If we could add to the resort it would be a nice restaurant with entertainment. Also as I said we were on the end and would have appreciated a full lunch menu by our pool.

Very Relaxing , our room was right on the ocean and the inlet! Was nice to sit out back and watch the boats come in and out ! Hand sanitizer everywhere , must wear a mask everywhere you go ! They have 3 different pool areas which was very convenient. Our building was at the end of the road , which it was a good distance from the main building. Rooms have a kitchen , fridge , stove, oven , microwave, dishwasher . The beach was amazing ! Was a little cold when we came down. Enjoyed playing all the games they had available! It was an awesome stay ! Really enjoyed coming down ! Can t wait to come back !

I vacation here annually and enjoy the pool and close proximity to the beach. Water aerobics is fun and pool bar is good.. Always clean and a great place to stay!

I just wanted to say how amazing Terry is! We are checking in the beginning of May for my 30th birthday. I called to inquire about the resort and she was so kind and helpful. She also made sure we had a room with a beach view which is very important to us! Her customer service is so amazing!! It makes me even more excited for our stay if this is the kind of service we will be receiving!! Thank you Terry, you are awesome!!! :)

Still stuck in 2020. We know the virus is nothing that they pretended it was. We don't wear masks. Never have. Then we come on vacation and stay here for you to tell us we have to wear masks. Time to move on people. Turn off the news and stop being so gullible.

All in all this is a nice place, great views of the absolutely gorgeous blue water n sun rises. The rooms are starting to show wear and age. The shower is super tiny in the master. We noticed the pool always looks murky no matter if it's 1st thing in morning n no one in it yet or late afternoon. We read shopping was close but we didn't find that except for Wings which is not what I call shopping. The staff seemed friendly enough but didn't really have interaction with any besides getting Towels. I will recommend going to the grocery store a couple miles away vs the one right over the bridge. Bigger store and cleaner.

Property needs work. Understaffed and booking priority isn t given to guests who are owners. Old system that needs updated to keep up with air bnb and other boutique hotels that are now available to travelers.
The location is what makes it worth the trip.
