I was very satisfied and stayed one night. The room on the 11th floor was very good and the view from the room was very good and happy. I arrived early, but I was impressed that the room was ready. I was able to feel the quiet Niagara Falls in late autumn.

The view is stunning.

The view is stunning.
No microwave, no fridge, no coffee maker.
$200/night - you're basically paying for the location and view.

My experience with this hotel was good. The only good part is that their rooms have a great river view of the niagara falls for which most of the people visit this place. It is indeed good hotel to choose for the river view. Apart from that they really need to offer more amenities to their Marriott members so that customer would visit it again n again. They can at least offer free breakfast to number of people staying in the room.

Tried to have a pleasant weekend by the falls, but it did not work out.

The good:
- Good view of the Falls and of the night light show.
- Check in was quick and pleasant.

The not so good:
- Parking lots no on premise. So if you need to access you car, you have to park it yourself two blocks away or valet park it (for the same price) and allow 15 minutes to be brought in (40 minutes when everyone else checks out).
- The hotel is not very clean. Old carpeting and not much attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness.
- The SPA clerk who takes appointments is incompetent. At least it was for us. Short story, we had to skip the SPA for which we were really looking forward.

If you must spend some time here, be aware and don't have high expectations.

They nickel and dime you. Everything costs a little bit, and it's all taxed TWICE and separately. Wi-Fi? $6 plus 2x taxes. Parking? $40 (PER DAY!) plus taxes. There are ads in the elevator, because it isn't enough to charge a lot, tax you too death, and nickel and dime you; they need to maximise ad space to.

Amazing experience! We went to an airbnb and walked out as soon as we walked in... It wasn't good. Went to the Marriott to try and recover and they crushed it. Ended up with an complementary upgrade with a view of the falls. It was amazing. Highly recommend!

Every employee we interacted with was friendly and welcoming to us. They gave us some great information on places to go around the area that weren't your average places so I think we had a much more authentic experience hanging out around the area. The valets are great, don't skip out on that amenity.

I rarely post reviews about my experience in places but guests need to be aware about the misleading information concerning upgrade prices for rooms and their respective taxes. We were sold an upgrade upon arrival but employee did not explain charges were per day and taxes not included. And on top of that the employee of the hotel was rude and not helpful when we raised our concerns at the end of our stay. Ask always all the details before agreeing to buy or sign something from this hotel.

I have stayed at almost every hotel on the strip in Niagara. I would like to say that this was my best experience! The room I got was really big and spacious. The bathroom was super nice as well. My only complaint was I had two suites and they were different rooms. The bathroom in the room that I got was amazing and the bathroom in the other room was old looking. They also had issued with their ac... I NEED to sleep in the cold and the unit was just not working. They could only provide a fan to fix the issue and the fan didn t work either. Other than that - the staff was super nice and accommodated us so well. Will definitely be back.

This place had a nice view of the falls. Fireworks.. but for the price, and additional costs of being a tourist, I will remember more that the WiFi failed to work on any of my 4 devices. Really. I have never had WiFi issues anywhere else.

Really enjoy every time we stay at marriott. Great views and the whirlpool tub is so relaxing. A bit of a walk to Cliffton but walk along the falls is beautiful making it part of the experience. The vibe is very relaxing and friendly. Will return.

Hotel had a great view and great location. The front office staff less to desire for. Not not warm, aloof. Long line to check in and out Very disorganized. I am standing on line the clerk calling on other people not being acknowledged. Concierge the two ladies Cynthia I forgot their names they were extremely helpful had great customer service skills. Back to basic when Mr Marriott started this business. After check-in we found dead bugs a whole family infestation in the seating area. I called reported it no one came. I went to report it to the desk, the woman at the desk treated it was like nothing. Ok. We ll have someone come up to clean it. No apology or offer to move us. I was to tired to make a fuss. We paid $487 per night you expect great service. Absurd! I worked in the hospitality industry years back. I have met Marriott Jr many years back in Jersey. I don t think he would be pleased. It s unreal. The brand is falling apart. Valet guys were nice except one knuckle head valet guy didn t think I was a guest there when I first pulled in he said I can t come here If I am not a guest. Very rude! When I told him I have a reservation he treated me differently. Very sad Marriott employed someone like this. The older valet gentlemen were nice and patient. The gift shop woman super nice. Pool area very slippery with no towels. Not impressed for a hotel in that location and the rate we paid. Disappointed. We could have stayed somewhere else for less money. It wasn t worth the money. We stayed July 6

Room was not clean and they charge a so called tourism fee which was investigated by CBC reporters and founded that this fee goes actually in the hotels' pocket. Very sketchy environment. Definitely will avoid in the future.

For the two days that we were there our visit was awesome and the view out our window was amazing. Hospitality was the only thing i didn't appreciate was the fact that the front desk lied to us about retrieving my car from valet parking when it was time to leave.
We checked out of our room at 6am, when we arrived we were told that it takes up to an hour to get your car (depending on whether or not it's peak hours) and to request it well in advance, which we did, my wife went down stairs with the ticket & came back upstairs to help me with the bags which took all of 15min's.
We get downstairs to find no car & no valet attendant, so my wife went back to the front desk to ask and he says that we took to long so the valet sent it back. Needless to say we had to wait 10min's for the valet to show up & another 15 for him to retrieve our car.
Don't let this deter you from missing out on a spectacular view of the falls, looking at it from your room is just breath taking, however THIS Marriott really need to improve on their valet service. $40 a day to valet park or $40 to self park & walk back to the hotel, hummmm, i guess you can see why we choose to valet park. I don't blame the valet attendant at all (expecially when i asked him is this his second time he had to get my car & he says no, this is the first time it was reqyested) cause he was working by himself & where ever he had to walk to get the cars was ridiculous, having golf carts would speed up the retrival process so much faster !!!

Very beautiful hotel. The rooms have beautiful views of the scenic Niagara Falls. The service is top notch and the amenities are great. The breakfast buffet is a little overpriced though. Would definitely come back!

The building and rooms are very dated. I'd surmise that the last update was done 10 years ago or longer and the rooms and furnishings are showing their age. TV is blurry. Our bed was broken. A dead bug was squished on the wall. Table had mystery fluid on it. Stains, smudges, prints on everything. Wouldn't stay here again but it does have the best view of the Falls of any hotel.

Edit: the hotel staff did go above and beyond to remedy the situation. I am pleased with how they handled it.

Got there at 330. Check in starts at 3. Had to wait an hour for my room to be cleaned, and since they take 20 minutes to retrieve my car, I was stuck for 20 minutes in the lobby.

Room was nice, but for having to wait for it to be cleaned, I found French fries on the floor.

It was average, for the price I expected much better. Probably wouldn't go back.

Overall the rooms and hotel were awesome and very clean and with an amazing view, but very expensive, prices change everytime we go, and because its in niagra falls they feel its okay to have hidden fees and taxes. Had to ask to remove the NFDF fee (Niagra falls destination fee) of $15.95 a night! Than when i look at the bill again there's now another municipal fee of $19.97 per night "for upkeep of the roads and attractions" added on too, which now I had to almost argue with the concierge about how thats what normal taxes are for , and it took a few minutes to have him remove it. In the end yes very nice clean place but the hidden fees are not cool.

Best possible view of the Falls! My daughter and I visited overnight for a girl's getaway. This has to be one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Bathroom gleaming. Floors immaculate! It was so quiet. No noise in the hallway. I give 4 stars rather than 5 due to inability to control the thermostat . We set it on the coolest setting, but it was roasting all night.

Mixed a little business with pleasure and found this hotel on the Canadian side of the falls. Great views but it was the little things they missed on. Beds could be more comfortable, service at the bar could be better, concierge room needed some help. You know, the little things.
