Diversity and the second name of this place! Several delicious choices for various palates ... super recommend!

Too many cooks spoil the broth. That is definitely not true for the market hall. The selection of dishes from different countries is great. The only disadvantage: in winter it is a bit cool here.

I love this place! Super near the train station and trams. There are many many dining options. It appears that some open for lunch and close when the food runs out. We liked the Thai, Indian, Ethiopian stalks.

Top street food, nice people, good food. Attention sometimes only against the bar (depending on the stand), the hall could also use a little more air (smell of food in clothes), therefore 4 stars.

Great location in Basel. In the market hall there are various food stands with seating and a play area for children. The food is multicultural and there is something for every taste.

It is a place where it happens many events and it is a place of sharing and conviviality and I have a soft spot for the many restaurants of various cultures that will accompany you with a smile

Very pleasant ambience. Open to take away during lockdown. I practically always eat in "Von Meisterhand". One of the few kebabs in Basel with a homemade skewer that is not industrially made with minced meat. You can tell. Very friendly

Many different kind of food. This reminded me of food courts in Asia, which was really nice. You even have a guy making his own cheeses and yogurt. Try his fondue : a must.

Street food, in a former "shed", in a lot of countries, a huge choice. Many tables where you can sit freely. Prices more or less in line with the Basel standard, perhaps slightly lower! I was there for lunch on a Tuesday and it was very busy. It is worth a visit and a meal!

Very solid because there is something for everyone. Sometimes a bit loud (it echoes quite a bit) and now and then you can smell something very strictly afterwards (the ventilation is a bit overwhelmed). Apart from that very good!
