Lots of food choices. I like Thai and Vietnamese. Nice place but quite noisy

We were at the Argentine food stand - excellent meat with a fine salad and wonderful potatoes. We recommend!

Nice area to enjoy a drink not far from the train station

Simply love this place. A mass food court in the city center offering almost every cuisine under the sun. Reasonable prices and a good place to hang on Fridays/Weekends with plenty of bars which are open until late.

Varied and very tasty cuisine from different countries.

A lot of different foods like burgers to Asian food also have good ice cream

Very pleasant experience, also good to have fellowship with siblings and Christ.

Special atmosphere (loose). Lots of people, different food (asian, pesian, etc.). Good wine or whatever else you want.

Good stand mix. Delicious beer, various delicacies in a cozy atmosphere.

Ideal for families as well as after-work beer.

Lots of people at Covid 19 and a lot of "smoke" and taste in the hall

I have to recommend the Italian fish soup! Delicious!

Nice place plenty of good internacional food restaurants ,bars and food trucks... If you go there don't miss the Venezuelan Food LA AREPERA, really delicious

A market with a twist, with stalls selling various items from clothes to antiques and a few food stalls and restaurants. Nice vibes and cool design of the market. Downside is just the food is extremely expensive from the stalls.. guess its Switzerland after all

Large selection of food. Digitec and mountain sports shop in there. Prices tend to be high and the hall smells like dead meat

Parking is very bad .. except for the overpriced parking garages in the area

Awesome place to visit and share great food with hundreds of people you don't know. The selection is so vast that everybody will find what they want. Amazing selection of beer spirits and anything else you would like to drink on site.

Fantastic food market during the day and some nights. You can get pretty much any cuisine you want.

Burgers, Asian, Lebanese, Afghani, Japanese, Jamaican, Thai, Indian, Italian... the list goes on.

Has a decent bar and decent coffee there too.

Huge selection of good quality food that deserves its price. Various 'street food' stands from all over the world, but difficult to find a seat during peak times. Which isn't very bad either. Is also suitable for groups, as you have a huge selection and you don't have to agree on a restaurant. Highly recommended!

One of the best places for casual and urban dining in Basel. Variety of food choices, including local, Thai, Persians, Lebanese, Greek, Pizza and many more. Also good selection of drinks, even the dedicated wine shop. Highly recommended for relaxing dinner with a partner or group of friends.

Markthalle is a great place to have lunch, but it is also an excellent place to meet for dinner or after work drinks. There are so many food and drink options! It is important to select a good seating location. Piazza is a place where you noise level will be acceptable.

Interesting building. Restaurants with international cuisines. Meeting place for all generations.

Saturday night and the place was not busy at all. Hope it lasts. Anyway everything I tried was really good. So many options.

Hawker Center in Basel. We have been there a few times and have enjoyed each one. Colorful hustle and bustle. Also good with children.

Very friendly staff.
We slept very well. It was quiet and the bed is very comfortable.
The breakfast buffet offers everything you need.
A great hotel for an overnight stay in the middle of the city.

Great if you can't agree on a place to go and eat. Everybody can eat here, it's super fun. Gets very hot inside during warm days, but just grab a seat outside. Also good value for your money compared to other restaurants in Basel.

Wonderful place for food! You can enjoy the food until 2am. We arrived here in the morning around 8:30am. Fresh bread and coffee just at the entry Perfect experience here!

In the market hall, countless food stalls are combined with a few grocery stores, the show dairy and other shops and rounded off with numerous events. A remarkable project with a lot of work behind it. Be sure to visit.
