I absolutely love going to the Market in the Square at Southgate plaza in West Seneca. The produce is fresh and reasonably priced. Their baked goods have other stores beat by variety, flavor, and price. They have take out hot and cold foods. A huge selection of meats, cold cuts, and rolls and breads. I like to get the Hood creamers. They are less expensive than at other stores, always plentiful and I think Hood is better than any other creamer. As you walk through the store, you will find many items other stores carry also including; dairy, frozen, snacks and canned goods. If you can't find something, just ask and they will help you. I highly recommend the Market in the Square. I always enjoy going there to shop!

Not satisfied with the hot food server. A small girl will blonde hair and freckles is very unfriendly and moody. I have gotten home with food she pack up to find roast beef on a hamburger roll when it was suppose to be wick roll. And the salad as the side was 3 small pieces of lettuce. Multiple times I have had her but in while was talking to other servers and accusing me of things I wasn't even talking about.
Please check you orders before they close them up. I have many surprises when I have open my food when I got home and opened my dinner. I am done with them.

Just went through this afternoon. Well worth the mileage.

Fresh produce, bakery goods, deli and meats reign supreme here. Almost always, their regular price is a sale price elsewhere (I.e. bang for the buck).

Produce stays fresh longer, and clearly doesn't stick around in a warehouse for a week. Baked good are fresh, with donuts that are almost double the size of the competition, and jammed with jelly or other filling.

Meats are fresh, with perfect warbling, and that perfect color from being freshly butchered.

Again, worth driving the extra miles.

I usually love the meat dept. I was disappointed in the selection of Delmonico steaks. Last week I purchased some that were a good size and very thick, absolutely perfect. Today they were small and fatty. Not sure what changed. I might have to start shopping somewhere else.

This was the worst take out food experience ever!! Received an email for a pizza and wings special for sat only 11am to 5pm. Called about 145pm and was told they currently had none available . I asked will they be available later. I said ok she she said 330. I gave my order. Got there st 330 gave my name they took my money at 333pm. Waiting waiting nothing. Fran the little girl behind the counter was doing nothing but socialize with a friend who was standing in line and another person seemed to be walking back and forth looking like they were doing something but really nothing at all. At about 350 I saw my order sitting on the counter. It sat for 15 minutes until I finally yelled at someone saying excuse me can I have my order. There was no system or management back there. Fran should be fired. By the time I got home the pizza was cold and the medium wings were no where close to being med. They were barely seasoned but cooked nicely. There were people there before me who were told 330 that eere still waiting when I left. Your store is never prepared when you offer a deal which includes your 2 day sales.Love to shop local love to shop your store I really would not recommend your take out service.

Great place to go for meats. Prices are lower and sales were great. If you need different types of supplies for cooking this is the place to go. Their cheese department is fabulous. If you haven't been make it a point to go

Mom and Pop experience with the large store selection. Baked good are from scratch and are delicious (you can see the mixers in the back) and the prices store wide are very competitive. Much more affordable that Tops or wegmans

My favorite neighborhood Bodega. The freshly butchered meats, the incredible slab bacon, the Lynoakin Farms apples all year long, the fried chicken, the homemade cookies, the Al Cohen's Sourdough bread, Costanza's rolls, and the authentic, real, NYC bagels! This store is the best!

It's your typical Sure Fine supermarket. I visited here after breakfast at Paula's in June 2016. The staff was friendly and they helped me locate some Buffalo-based food items to take back home. It was fun playing tourist there. I don't know if I lived there if I would shop there all the time. The prices area little high for me. I would go back, though. Next year.

Good homemade salads. The deli has a good selection as well. The deli workers are friendly and efficient. Got foods for take are good especially their fish frys. Only wish they would serve the better home are salads such as potato and macaroni instead of the premier ones.

Stopped in at the West Seneca location at about 5pm yesterday (7/1/19) to pick up my usual stuff. Had to use the bathroom and the one stall was absolutely horrendous. Poop all over the toilet, floor and a pair of soiled underwear in the garbage. I told the staff about it when checking out and went along my business. Realized i forgot 2 items and returned to the store a few hours later. Got my stuff and had to use the bathroom again and I could not believe it. Even though I told someone about the mess in the bathroom a few HOURS earlier, it was still in the horrendous state it was before. Cant believe staff thought it was okay for that bathroom to be left in that horrendous state for so long.

Not one employee does their job to keep the bathroom clean and sanitized throughout the day like otyer places do. Or anything clean for that matter. Place seems like it's ran like a Zoo. Lazy unexperienced employees that dont know how to do anything but use their phones and do nothing. Management, if there is such a thing here, should be ashamed of themselves and their so called employees they hire.

Will never step foot in that store again. Unbelievable. unacceptable. Unprofesional.

I buy whole Ribeye, Sirloin or Delmonico steaks and have the butcher cut to my choice. The meat is fresh and the butchers are all so friendly and great for a quick recipe. Produce is great! The fresh breads and deserts can't be beat. The take out lunch and dinners are fantastic. All in all its a great store.

Most of the food ive bought was expired, especially the prepackaged meals. Sometimes the food was packaged 4 days ago when you go to buy it. Im mad that i come here and spend alot and it turns out i have to throw all of the food out. I must say your cheesecake is amazing!

When they expanded, their prices went up. Their off brand canned goods are as expensive as the name brands. They have a good selection in the meat department but I dont believe it's USDA choice. They do have a nice produce department.

Full service market, and small enough for quick trips. Good bakery, large selection of prepared foods, butcher counter as well as extensive meat cases, some of the consistantly best deli prices in the area.

They have great prices compared to other big grocery stores like Tops and Wegmans, plus they have most everything you would need in stock. Their staff are very helpful as well. My only complaint is that their produce during off seasons is not the greatest, and I would recommend going to other places for produce during off seasons.

I love Market in the Square. I'm there twice a week on average and the deals are always changing. The prices on meat are great and when you hit the sales they're even better. Great selection of meat and produce and I love the homemade breads and rolls. I don't go to the deli much but they have a ton of stuff and the pre-made foods from the kitchen are great (the fish fry is amazing for $8). The rest of the place is your usual grocery store with average pricing but they have just about everything you need. The real reason to go is for the meat, produce, and the bakery. Nice hometown atmosphere and the checkout is usually very fast. I hate shopping but for some reason I enjoy this place. Oh forgot to mention the bacon from the butcher counter is to die for. Same price as regular bacon but soooo much better.

Super cheap prices on lunch meats and cheeses. Check out the price for a pound of provolone cheese! Crazy cheap, but really good quality. They also have a great butcher shop. They make a ton of different flavors of chicken sausage. It's so much healthier for you and it tastes great. You can always find a bargain on something here at the market in the square!!!

Great family owned supermarket!

Great family owned supermarket!
Good meat, deli and produce prices.
Always enough cashiers to get you in and out efficiently. Servers are first rate and polite. A lot of parking.
