I know there seem to be some mixed reviews here, so wanted to share our experience at Marissa Collections. (and if you do not like long reviews - just know that our experience was great!)

My wife was in need of a Mother of the Bride Dress. We looked in Ohio where we are from and while there were some really nice dresses - nothing really stood out. On a trip to Naples, after working out and looking like we had just worked out, for some reason - we stopped into the store. Up to that point, we had never really been in - as it was our feeling that the clothes would be way too expensive and even more so, we would not be helped by the staff. (especially the way we looked that morning)

While looking thru one collection - one woman (Jaime) asked if she could help. She then spent a few minutes with us and then said that she would be right back. I then turned to my wife and said that we will never see her again. It almost felt like the scene in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts went into the Beverly Hills store and they would not help her. The way we looked though - I would not have blamed them. HOWEVER - we could not have been more wrong and within a couple of minutes, Jaime was back with the manager of the area and they both then proceeded to spend well over an hour with my wife going thru different options. At the end - there was one dress in particular that we all liked, though no decision was made at that point. Jaime and the manager (Kira) - could not have been nicer and just said they were available for questions and to just let them know.

We did keep in contact with them and so on a subsequent trip back to Naples, went in to see it and some other options again. Both Jaime and Kira spent additional time with us - never with any pressure. Ultimately my wife went with that dress and it truly turned out beautiful - with many (many) glowing comments at the wedding. It turned out to be the perfect dress. Following the wedding, I even sent the two of them pics of my wife from the wedding to show them the fruit of their labor and the time they spent with us.

So for us - our perception of what we initially thought of Marissa Collections was way off base and we have nothing but great thoughts for the store and the people who work there.

What else can we say but "Thanks"!

Unless you re a Stepford type dressed head to toe in cheesy Lilly Pulitzer expect to be treated like gum on the bottom of their shoes... I will spare the details of my expierience today...

Paid full price for Designer beach bag. Got home a...

Paid full price for Designer beach bag. Got home and found grass, sticks and sticky stuff in the bottom. Here's the kicker, found invoice from factory that stated it was imperfect and defective. What????? Very disappointed. I'll be returning it Monday.

I was scammed of $480 dollars by their fine print ...

I was scammed of $480 dollars by their fine print about no refund for 3rd promotions party returns. Their website did not state what exactly is a 3rd party promotion, I paid with my credit card. That fine print is SO AMBIGUOUS can go under anything they want it to be so buyer beware.
Also the person I spoke to was so condescending and accused me of not really wanting the item at all!

Excellent service .Yes, it's pricey-- but it's designer... What did you expect? The women on staff are lovely and they are always keeping up with the latest trends. Definitely worth the visit.

Worst online shopping experience of my life! They are very sketchy on shipping/return policies. Between the date of order and date of return was only two weeks and they only give store credits. Lost a good customer with their terrible customer service.

So beyond rude never going again. Last week my mom and I went to Marissas planning on buying a piece of jewelry that I had seen in a competitors store in Dallas. We showed up at 10:10 Saturday morning when they were suppose to open at 10 (according to online and their sign on the door) and they weren t even close to being open. The women inside ignored us and one even rolled her eyes! I understand that we were in workout clothes so they may not have taken us seriously but they should still never treat customers like that! My mom and I waited around (even though we shouldn t have) for 20 minutes and then we finally left when they still weren t open. They didn t have the decency to smile or say sorry we will be open soon. If they would have done then I wouldn t have minded waiting everyone runs late sometimes, but it was they way they looked at us and didn t care to acknowledge us. There was another man waiting outside with us and he said he was also planning on buying jewelry for his wife, but he left with us. He was also appalled by the behavior. They missed out on what would of been two great jewlery sales and I don t even feel bad! Never going back again!

They have a better selection of Men's shoes than I've seen from other boutiques. Here's what I loved the most though: the helpfulness of their customer service team. I shopped online with them and called with a question about sizes; I didn't own a pair of shoes from the designer that caught my eye. You talk to someone in their store, not a call center. Needless to say the free shipping and no sales tax part of shopping with them was a bonus to the quality of service. Will be shopping with them again.

I purchased a Donna Karan silk camisole top (meant as outerwear) as a replacement for the one I'd bought a few summers ago at BG, which I love, though felt that it was getting a bit too worn. The one I received from Marrissa Collections was used! The fabric in the back had begun to pill on the inside, the seam which runs just below the bust was re-seamed at some point and not very well as the stitching in the FRONT has been backed over a few times, and one of the shoulder seams is coming apart from wear. Mine is in similar (though better) condition, which is why I was replacing it.

I'm not sure if this is a used clothing store. I see nothing on their website that would indicate this, but if it is, I apologize for the overall review, but not the scores. If this is a used clothing store, the USED part should be much more visible on your website. The rating, I feel, is still valid as even for used clothing this is unacceptable.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming! I had lived in Naples a day and they were all so nice to me! It had nothing to do with what I was purchasing either... I only bought a makeup sponge... thanks for the warm welcome to Naples!

I purchased a pair of boots on their website to be shipped to me several states over. They were apparently the only vendor in the world who still had these boots in inventory in my size, so my excitement that I found them makes me a little biased.

Communication was a little weird--they would ask me a question and I'd respond right away, but they wouldn't follow up until the next morning, even though I'd responded during business hours. So expect communication to be a bit sparse. At first, that wasn't reassuring since I'd just sent them so much money.

Nevertheless, the package arrived quickly and the purchase was perfect. I received my purchase four business days after I'd paid for it. Nothing was wrong with my items and they had clearly been stored in a place that was temperate. Now I'm contemplating making a trip to visit their store in person. Online shopping experience was great!

I really wanted to buy something from this website...

I really wanted to buy something from this website. There were two beautiful bracelets, but I needed to make sure they were returnable since I had no idea how they would look in person or if they would fit around my wrist. The website indicated there was free shipping and free returns, but when I looked at the policies at the bottom of the page, it stated all fine jewelry was final sale. I called to clarify the policy and was told they could make an exception since there were no returns on jewelry. They would give me 24 hours to return the item once I received it. The only problem was my work schedule. How could I get it back to them in 24 hours if I had to be at work the next day? They agreed to 48 hours, and we agreed on a day I was to receive it. I paid for the item online and received an email the next day indicating someone had to be home to sign for the package, and I had to agree to the 24 hour return period. I responded by asking if it was possible to get a window of time for the delivery, since it would be impossible for me to sit home all day and wait. In addition, we had agreed to a 48 hour return! Apparently, UPS does not give out this information, so I sent back an email saying that I could not guarantee anyone would be home to receive the package. I waited 2 days and never heard back from them. Finally, I gave them a call today and found out that nothing had been sent out. No one had the courtesy to let me know or tried to reach out to find a solution to the problem. I have been in retail for over 30 years and never experienced such poor customer service. How can you require a signature and not be able to give the customer a delivery window? Switch to FEDEX!

I cancelled my order and will be able to get one of the pieces from Net-a-Porter, which has incredible customer service. I plan to let the designer of the other piece know that Marissa Collections made it impossible for me to buy her bracelet. Isn't that what they are in business to do?
