I called and the receptionist was not helpful AT ALL she wouldn't even tell me a next available appointment its like they aren't even a regular dentist office. Horrible customer service. Yikes hire a better receptionist. I will not refer this place to anyone seeking help

I was barely able to eat, I couldn't chew without being in constant pain. I had to take ibuprofen everyday , 3 times a day. UNTIL I CAME HERE. The Dr. Is awesome. The assistants are awesome. They literally gave me my life back. And I will be forever grateful for everything they did. I love my teeth now, I can eat!!!!

I had 3 teeth pulled yesterday and the dentist sent me home with ZERO pain meds and instructions to take Ibuprofen. I had several novicain shots in the roof of my mouth. I think those were more painful than the actual tooth extraction. I had a really rough night and didn't sleep much. I totally get the whole opioid crisis but this was ridiculous...3 would have helped me rest and recover. Instead, I'm missing a day of work because of pain & no sleep. It didn't have to be like this!!!

My whole experience was easy. It went by like a breeze. Every time I felt pain, they gave me another injection. My teeth came out in ten minutes. I would highly recommend. Don't believe the bad reviews.

I didn't have an appointment they were very nice about it. I was in and out within not even 2 hours ( only a 15 minute wait) . They got me in, the Dr explained everything to me very well.. he was nice the nurses were nice. I will most definitely be going back.

If a zero star was an option then they would get none. Had a single tooth pulled 2 days ago. The novacaine was injected into a bubble under my eye socket somehow....that went away. I felt everything and have been in the worst pain of my life. I can't get any help. Have been to the ER twice in the last 2 days and everybody is acting like I am crazy. Even my blood pressure is up and I am running a fever that I wasn't before. I would rather give birth, have a kidney stone or have my face eaten by zombies than feel this way! There is nothing Christian or Godly about this clinic! I went there for help and really this is way worse.

It was a rip off. Went in with two front teeth missing. They also said i need to do a deep scale cleaning & pull teeth that were good. I just wanted the two front teeth replaced. But, No...They said i must do everything the Dentist wanted me to do first ! " Just leave the gaping hole " ?...I walked out & will never go back.

you get very good care here, the people are professional and kind but they wouldn't let me keep my tooth they extracted and everyone else I've talked to said most places do so if you want to keep your teeth go elsewhere; otherwise no complaints.

Going around dentral health professionals or their staff should not have to be difficult or uncomfortable. At the recieption desk was an angry hateful older woman with no compassion and bad customer service. The nurses were even worse. My nurse was rolling her eyes up in her head, became argumentative, rude throughout the experience and assulted me in the end. However, I stayed calm since I needed to be helped and prayed thur it. The Dentist was cold detached but professional. The specialist that numed my gums is the only one who I would give the real 5*kudos to. She made me feel comfortable, talked to me with compassion and maintained her professional agenda.

I understand not having insurance and having bad teeth at the same time. I also understand you get what you pay for. Shop around before going here. This would be a last resort for dental care. The staff is extremely rude and make you feel like crap (as if you didn't already). They don't offer proper care. They will pull out your teeth and leave a gaping hole instead of stitching it up. Antibiotics and pain medication??? You can forget it. Not offered here. Seriously shop around for a best dentist, even in emergency cases like mine. It's worth dealing with the pain a little bit longer just to get proper care. Otherwise you are just wasting your money and will have to see another dentist to fix the problem they create.

I was in an unfortunate situation where I found myself without dental insurance, and in need of some help. 10 years after having a root canal and crown placed, the crown came off to reveal a tooth that was no longer viable, and would require extraction. I've never had a tooth removed, and went into the situation Google'ing all I could.

A friend of mine mentioned the Mirian Clinic, but I was concerned by a couple reviews that were less than favorable. My options were limited, as well were my funds. I arrived early, without an appointment, and I got right in to see someone. The staff was very pleasant, and professional. The facilities were clean, and comfortable.

I was in very little pain, and the extraction was determined better suited for an oral surgeon, so I was scheduled for an appointment a couple of days later. I again arrived early, and was able to be seen earlier than expected. The oral surgeon was also very friendly and professional. I was provided very detailed instructions to care for the area after the removal, and was offered assurances that if I had any questions or concerns, that I was welcome to call or come back.

The next morning, I was in remarkably VERY little pain. Scale 1-10, I'd give it a 1 at best, seriously. No need for pain meds. I can't speak for the other reviews, but my experience was a positive one, and I would certainly recommend the Marian Clinic. I jokingly say that I hope I never have see em again, but if I do, I will be very comfortable doing so.

All went well, until I have called twice asking a simple question as into why I wasn't prescribed antibiotics, same excuse everytime. Just got done speaking to my doctor, who prescribed me antibiotics. My doctor was not happy to hear they did this without prescribing me anything.

My son called ahead of time about a week in advance to ask about the services that they provide and prices. They told him he would just need a letter from his mother because he just moved home and he would get the reduced rate. He furthered inquired on the phone does he need to make an appointment? They said no just come in with the letter. So my son and I went to the clinic which we live and HOUR away and they told us sorry, walk in are only at 8am my son said but I called a week in advance and asked if I needed an appointment and you said no. The representatives he talked to just basically said your S.O.L. Very poor service and communication on their part and cost us time and money for nothing.

I've come to the conclusion that 98% of people who have neglected to see a dentist when their situation was crucial. After waiting until they could bare it no longer, they went to the Marian Clinic because of financial problems. You see, after reading all of the reviews, It's obvious to me that complaining and whining about the dentist is a behavior we adopted in early childhood out of fear....and let me tell you about fear....I had to have all of my lower teeth capped with silver. It wasn't fun, and worse yet, my classmates sometimes called me Jaws, from the James Bond film. But I grew up unscathed and I realise dental work is a necessity. Come on people, cowboy up. Of course it's not pleasant, but we all have to go for an uncomfortable procedure sometime in our live. Be grateful we have a dentist to treat us even though we don't have insurance. Personally, I can't wait to get my work done. In an odd way, it represents to me, another difficult hurdle I've made it over....and life is full of pain and discomfort. So what>>>>>Embrace it!

The clinic recently had a remodel and is very nice inside. The staff and dentists are compassionate and provide a high quality of care.

You expect a wait when you go to the er; a dental emergency works the same way. There are only so many doctors on site and many people in need, so a wait is understandable.

I waited for an hour, I had called a week in advance but they wouldn't let me make an appointment, finally a dental assistant asked me back, they took a digital scan of my teeth, a doctor took a look at it, said the bottom wisdom teeth are hard to get out, (not my teeth but in general) told me he'd send me to a different guy so I'm sent back out, then they tell me my 80 dollars is not refundable, that it was for the walk-in itself, meaning now I don't have the money to get my wisdom tooth out, basically got robbed for 15 minutes of nothing. If this is your only option look elsewhere!

Terrible place, please avoid going here at all costs. I had this "doctor", who put a cap on my teeth and it still hurt. I saw him a week after this and told him of the pain, he did nothing about it. Terrible institution.

Did not give me antibiotic after requesting on! I now have an abscess under one of the extractions and a swollen face and infection is weeping. He also "doesn't believe in narcotic pain killers" which is a load of bull. It's now been a week and I finally got a hold of my primary who is PISSED and got me antibiotic AND painkillers without even having to be seen. Im in nursing and am very disappointed. Just because it's the only place adults with state insurance can be seen in the Topeka area does NOT mean we should get piss poor care. I made appt months in advance...in the future will be traveling to Lawrence or KC. Ridiculous.

I normally wait until I'm completely healed before leaving a review however and this situation I cannot. The female dentist on Friday May 6th mangled my gum line pulling a tooth she owns her own practice and I am strongly thinking about suing her because I'm still in pain and I still cannot eat anything that's not processed or pre softened. I went back on Wednesday the 10th to find out why it still hurts and was told it was dry socket I then went to another dentist to get a second opinion spent $75 for them just to look at it and found out it's because my gum is mangled and cannot be repaired and will have to heal on its own. It will be weeks before I'm able to eat regular food again and finally be out of pain. Under no circumstances do I recommend going to this Clinic. I probably would have been better off hooking my tooth up to vice grips and having it pulled out with a car.

I got 4 teeth pulled. They told me ibuprofen and tylenol. After several hours I called them back in agonizing pain. They said just continue to take tylenol and ibuprofen. I'm going to the ER.

I was needing dental work done.. I called them and was able to get an appointment the next morning, even with this Coivid scare.. They were very professional and I will definitely be using them in the future..
