Marben Review

I love this place. This place is farm-to-table and food is locally sourced; you can really taste the difference in the ingredients.

If you get the chance, ask to sit at the kitchen bar where you'll get to see the kitchen staff busying themselves (and if you're a nerd like me, you'll start asking them to tell you about what they're doing and more about the food).

Very nice atmosphere, great friendly pleasant service, but somehow they messed up our beef the evening we were there. It was just too chewy, what a shame, but the rest of the meal was superb.

Our absolutely favourite spot. We make sure we visit this restaurant every year.

This place was SO good. We had an early dinner in our first night in Toronto and it was some of the best food of the trip. Inventive, unique, and beautiful, our meals were not only delicious, they were pretty. When we arrived the chef was cooling dozens of beef fat brioche buns and, seeing me ogle them, he brought one over for us to try. I died. It was amazing. My meal was the chicken leg and my only complaint was that I wanted more. It was not quite enough for me. But the wine was exceptional and the food left me wanting more rather than feeling so stuffed I couldn t move. Overall, a very cool vibe and an awesome meal. We ll be back!

Great brunch for a shockingly fair price! Really high quality ingredients and great ambiance. Amazing and really friendly service also.

Saturdays have bottomless mimosas for $20, which is a can't miss.

We were told by the host the table would be available in 10-15min and he didn't even get our cells. We stepped away for 10min and told the guy twice that we would be back in 10. When we came back he started lying that we were missing for 20 min and our table was given away to other guests and we have to wait in line again. The person who hosts guests is definitely not doing good job. Their customer service is very poor.

Food was tasty enough but the portion sizes are about 1/4 of what I would need for the insane pricing.

Food was dry and wasn't served with all components listed on the menu, but it had a good atmosphere.

This place used to be excellent, but it's fallen prey to a loss of talent in the kitchen. Still a great venue, and the service is commendable, but not operating at the level of last winter unfortunately.

The oysters were fresh and the ambience was perfect: not too dark and not too loud. Wine selection is worth exploring.

Great outdoor patio, on a quiet street, very nice on a summers evening, service can be a little slow sometimes, food is always great.

Though slightly pricy, the food is absolutely incredible, the wine list is very extensive, and the staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to share what's happening in Toronto. Also close to The Rogers Centre and the ACC.

Nice decoration, nice and warm waitress but music is a bit too loud.the prices are high comparing to the size of portions.the choice of deserts are limited and a bit wired taste.

Been here and back a few times -- shows how much I loved it. The ambiance is great and really sets the mood for brunch and dinner. I had the ribs for my first dinner and it just melted in my mouth. The sides paired well with the ribs. Went back for dinner again and very much enjoyed the experience. Dinner more value than the brunch.

Brunch at the fantastic patio. Quirt street and great music. John's Burger is one of the best in the city.

One of my favourite restaurants in the city, food here is always delicious! Everything about Marben invites you to come back again. Beautiful room, impeccable service, a very well-selected wine list and the atmosphere that makes you feel you belong there. I really enjoy attending the special events here, Chef Chris creates amazing food inspired by the season and using only Canadian and loca ingredients. My to-go dishes are the vegetarian or vegan and they never disappoint!

Came to Marben for our Christmas Party and had the best time! Everything was perfect from food/drink to the service and the atmosphere! Can not wait to come back again!

My favorite things about this restaurant are the fun, delicious and very busy brunches, and the super romantic half price wine Sunday evenings. Also, the chef's pass is always a good idea to see the cooks in action!
Good to know: they always have an option for every dietary restriction or allergies, the kitchen will go off the menu anytime to make something work for you!

Awesome restaurant with great food and cocktails in a beautiful venue.

Food was delicious and well balanced. Well thought out sauces for each dish. Dessert was mediocre - butter tart crust was over cooked. Farm fresh, locally sourced vegetables and meet (which I appreciate). Overall above average and a good place to check out for brunch or dinner.

This is a brunch review. Food tasted good, small portions though. Over priced for what it was. So if you're a hungry person like me, I would go somewhere with a more traditional menu.

Always go here, never disappoints. The food is very good and the best for me is the John's Burger, very delicious. The restaurant is a bit pricy.

The fry up and bottomless mimosas were a wonderful way to start my Saturday. Highly recommend.
