Maranatha baptist university Review

Nice place, nice people, great food. Daughters are definitely considering coming here.

My experience at Maranatha was short-lived. When I reported harassment from a professor, I was laughed at by the dean of women and told I was lying. Before I left I was told that I, hadn t prayed enough about it and that I didn t know what God was wanting me to do. While still attending MBU, on a tour where we were traveling from state to state for our dept I became very ill and told the professor I needed to see a doctor, and the prof said, That s not an emergency, just drink some water. Got back to school after a week, immediately went to the doctor (of which I had to be chaperoned for) and found out I had pneumonia and asthma (I had never been diagnosed with asthma before this.) That was the last straw for me. If your professors don t care about your physical health, why would they care for your spiritual health like they promise? I could write a whole lot more as this experience has truly scarred me, but please know if you re considering attending this school, your voice will likely not be heard, only if you are perfect, keep your mouth shut and your room mirrors fingerprint-free.

A tremendous school with an outstanding theological house and rigorous academic tradition. The accommodating campus is nestled in cozy Watertown, WI. The faculty is friendly, distinguished, and tops in so many ways. I definitely recommended this college and seminary for anyone wanting an excellent Christian education, whether for ministerial or professional training.
