Really good Tex Mex Food. The cheese enchiladas are fantastic, cheesy and gooey. My only knock on the place would be they only have refried beans, no charo.

Ive been coming here with my gma since i was 10 the food is delicious worth the drive across town
Great queso! Nachos are little odd, but food is still delicious!
The best! The way TexMex used to be. Fun relaxed atmosphere. Great ownership and staff. Always feel welcome. I highly recommend Enchiladas y Mas!
I think the enchiladas were a little on the dry side today. The last time I was here, they were fantastic. Great margaritas. Decent staff.
A staple of the Austin experience. I know people who don't care for it, but I'm a huge fan. It may be fairly simple Tex-Mex fare, with somewhat limited menu options, but it's all so tasty. The place is small and can get extremely crowded, More
Creamiest (which is delicious) queso I've ever had. Entrees are okay
Excellent Tex-Mex with an outstanding wait staff. Authentic Austin spot!
Hahahahaha is there any place in the world that makes better food.... the answer is NO!!! Best you will ever eat hands down!!!
First time there I would go back over and over and over again.
The ground beef for the tacos and enchiladas is excellent. Queso is great too! One of the best places for Tex Mex in ATX!
The food was amazing and if I were just going off of that, this would be 5 stars, but I have to take off points for the fact that the restroom was downright gross, and that the salsa and queso was super runny. Overall I recommend it, but it could use some improvement
The best, cheesy tex mex enchiladas! The queso is also out of this world! Great margaritas too! If you haven't been you have to experience Enchiladas Y Mas!!!
We had a party of 8 and had to wait, small hot waiting area. Food was very good and our wait person was excellent. We went at a busy time and when seated the place looked chaotic but in reality it turned out to be an efficient operation.
Gotta love em! For a small resturant its a tad on the loudness, but daammmnnn, that food tho!! Great place for good enchiladas!!
Nothing fancy about this neighborhood tex mex spot, and we can never seem to get down when they are open, when closed, but this is the absolute best chicken fajita meat ever! Get the chicken fajita tacos. Don't even think about anything else! But everything else is good, solid, AOK - great chips, hot salsa, queso that doesn't congeal too fast, huge sodas, kind servers/friendly staff and always packed!
I really enjoy the atmosphere here. It s nice being able to get a margarita while you wait as well. The staff is always really nice and quick to help if you need a recommendation. My go to meal is the fajitas at this point. It s always consistent and tasty.
Consistent. Parking sucks. Salsa spicy. Free margaritas tomorrow.
Even though they are no longer open for Breakfast early in the a.m. I like that they serve breakfast all day. Happy hour Mango Margarita doesn't hurt either.
AMAZING breakfast tacos, especially if you swing through on a weekend. Avoid the strawberry 'daiquiri,' though. Not sure what it is, but it certainly isn't strawberry, and it may or may not actually be a daiquiri...
After being closed due to Covid 19, this venerable Austin institution has reopened.
Between closing in the spring and reopening recently, the business was acquired by the daughters of the original Founders. So when you return to Enchiladas y Mas now, they have the same recipes, same sauces, same everything!
They do have covid-19 socially distanced seating arranged, which means it is not crowded anymore. I was out with spouse at this location recently. There is consistently excellent food in a low budget setting. This is the gold standard for Tex-Mex in the Austin area, in my opinion.
The guacamole is excellent, and I always enjoy their cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. Lots of other choices are available...tacos and chalupa compuestas are also favorites. They're well known for delicious margaritas, if that's your sort of thing.
Our two meals of 2 cheese enchiladas, rice and beans included corn tortillas, and chips and salsa at no extra cost. The chips are served warm and the salsa is spicy but not excessive. Add in a couple Cokes and our tab was less than $26.00 including sales tax.
Best enchiladas and margaritas in Austin. My coworkers and I visit frequently and have never had a bad experience!
Great family owned restaurant that's been in service 25+ years
Good food, but don't understand why there's always a line. Taste like any other Tex-Mex place in Austin, am I missing something?
Food is good. Service was nothing special. The prices are good.
Much better Tex men in town. Not really sure what the hype is about this place. Waited for 10mins to be seated when there were 5 tables open. Beans were really bland as was the rice. Nothing was really hot/heated. It was warm. If your looking for somewhere for Tex next head somewhere else.
The enchiladas we're very good better than Mayas i would go and eat there again
Love it, & advice any one who love mexican food to eat there!
Love this place since I started going there in the late 90s. Their cheese enchiladas are the bomb! You have enough chili & cheese leftover to stuff multiple flour tortillas. Go hungry my friend!
Really long waits for mediocre Mexican food that is from a filthy dirty restaurant. Needs a health inspection, a coat of paint and better customer service. A total disappointment!
Fantastic enchiladas. Expect to wait if you show up late.
Im sooooo happy that they were able to open back up...No complaints from me... Great food great service every time I go. N them drinks is strong....
One of my favorite locations for texmex. service is always nice even when they have a full house. service is typically above par. the place has a good feel to it.
Worst customer service!! Rolling of eyes and slow. Hot sauce is too hot and you have to request mild.
How very disappointing, it was 8:40 on a Friday and we had no idea that Enchilada Y Mas closed at 9pm. We were walking up and my husband told me they put the sign up saying CLOSED I told my husband no way the parking lot is full and we can see the restaurant is full of customers they can t close the doors if they say there hours are until 9pm.
Sure enough they Locked the doors so we could not walk in. HOW VERY RUDE of the establishment to do such a thing. I understand you want to close and shut down but lock the doors that s just extreme when you see us coming towards the door. RUDE, RUDE RUDE!
Enchiladas are great... queso too...not to mention the cold refreshments!
Sometimes great margatitas, sometimes dishwater. Sometimes great salsa, sometimes ketchup. Usually great enchaladas, but sometimes Alpo. Always crowded with people taking their chances.
The margaritas were awesome. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was (temperature) hot & tasty.
Good food would have liked less cheese on my nachos on more beans. Service was good
I ll miss you bro Best Enchiladas there were. R I P Austin Icon.
I was there to find a more authentic Mexican food place. They have a lot of customers, but the food in my opinion lacked flavor. I wouldn't go back again.
Wow it is very good from a packed house and superb waiters had the best fajitas in Austin. Beef enchiladas wow.
Very good food and friendly staff. Busy during prime hours for lunch and dinner so plan ahead.
Enchiladas Y Mas wins my BEST TEX MEX award. Why? Best refried beans I've ever had. Best breakfast tacos in town (bacon or chorizo for me please), best chips and salsa.
I order the chicken enchiladas with green sauce every time. Do i want rice and beans on the side? yup. How about lettuce tomato and sour cream? yes please.
The monster plate that comes out is a thing of beauty. Insanely hot, and everything is always fresh. This is not sophisticated food. It's very simple. It's just the best version of these simple things I've ever had.
I'll warn you to avoid the beef fajitas. Stick to enchiladas in my opinion.
The owners are super friendly and always seem to be around.
The only downside is the significant expansion of your waistline if you eat here for lunch too often.
Always packed because enchiladas are so good. 20 min wait at lunchtime.
The food was amazing and this sweet lady pay for my family's food. Very good service and great people 10/10
Small place, but best cheese enchiladas in North Austin!
Our favorite neighborhood Tex-Mex place. Thank god they reopened, and it is just as amazing as always. Be prepared to wait, it is very popular with long time Austinites. Definitely get a margarita or two, they are some of the best frozens in town!
Love the enchiladas conqueso cant get enough. Eat in and bring home an order or two
Second best Mexican restaurant next to Matt's El Rancho. Their margaritas are legit food is kinda spicy and authentic. Get there early there's gonna be a wait but it's worth it.
My daughter and I have special visits for lunch and dinner here. Parking is sort of hard because it is so popular that it might take a minute to find parking but it is worth the wait. Most wonderful Mexican Martini's ever... I love their food and service and of course their drinks.... YUM.
Rico las castilla was fine and I love the restaurant porter that leads di 5 star
I love the enchiladas and the frosty mug of Negra Modelo
Gosh...those are the best enchiladas I've tried from a restaurant. A lil small inside. But the food was really good...coming from a person like me that cooks a lot.
