The chef, Brian, is both very hands on and he's good, very creative and quality foods. Wait staff is cheerful. Out on the patio is a great place in the warmer months.

Majority of the front side of the Canthook course was under construction. Many of the greens had obvious damage and pitting. It would have been more acceptable had they our group a heads up or at the least offered a discounted rate. Unfortunately neither happened.

You could see how this course is going to be much better down the road, but for now, stay away.

let me start by saying how incredibly friendly the staff was at the courses(I didn't stay at the hotel) from the lady at the front desk in the clubhouse, to the cart guy/girl, waitress and grounds crew. I played both canthooke valley and cutters ridge. both were in great shape, and scenic(canthooke had some bunker construction going on but is going to be even more fun when finished) canthooke valley was a bit easier to play and more scenic. cutters ridge had some holes with forced carry which could make it tough for some people to enjoy. both were fun and worth playing. so glad I was able to get on and play both!

Over priced for a cart 40$ and needs to cleaned up a lot

Beautiful 36-hole Golf Course with a food menu that is absolutely top-notch. There are not a lot of fine dining options in the Manistee area so it is well worth the drive just a few miles south of town to experience dining in it's best.

Had a great experience playing both courses. Beautiful grounds, hotel was clean and updated. I am looking forward to returning.

Staff was wonderful, did not have a tee of time but they were more than happy to accommodate us. Course is very well maintained and grounds crew very friendly. Everyone must go there!

Everyone at the course was very polite and helpful. Renovation of the course is in progress, good changes being made, bring your sand wedge!

Manistee National was one of the most accommodating places I ve been to. We had a group of 8 guys and they made us feel welcome the second we stepped in. Staff was very friendly and were always open to help answer any questions or whatever it was we needed. The golf courses were in great shape too! Cutters Ridge was a tough, challenging 18, and the fairways and greens were in awesome shape. Canthooke Valley the next day was very friendly and fun to play. Very good pricing for a nights stay or two. Will definitely come back sometime soon!

Big shout out. They close the course every year and host a Cross Country meet. Thank you very much. One of best Cross Country Meets of the year.
