A tad bit too expensive when compared to other engineering colleges around. That aside, its a great place to enjoy your life as a student. The campus is awesome. The town is great too. Spent some really good days here.

I had done Post Graduate Diploma in Telecom Technology during year 2001. For my certificate evaluation I have written email s and even tried to call official many times. But no reply at all. Worst inexperienced officials.

Had a very nice experience. Provides a quality education with many extra curricular activities. It has many branches for b-tech, m-tech, medical, media and communications, fashion designing and many more students from different parts of the country and abroad came here and get admission for a prestigious future of self and the nation also. It is located in the Udupi which is in Karnataka state of the INDIA. It has about 7k to 8k students in the campus.It provide the students a green healthy noise free environment to live and to grow in. It also helps in making the students self capable who can face the world on their own. It has many academic buildings where classes run daily, also it has world class infrastructure in the campus. It provides the students the overall growth that is in the academic and extracurricular activities also. It has a world class sports complex called MARENA which has almost all the sports facilities available for each and every student of the university. It's a nice place to study.

Visited this place once. One of the best of private colleges of India, if you want to experience the truly stereotypical college life of unlimited freedom, lots of extracurricular activities and great exposure to multiple cultures.

One of the best private universities. Very good infrastructure. Covering science, engineering, pharmacy and medicine. Only problem I observed is these institutions are within one campus. Good hostel facilities, mess and guest house facilities.

I have applied for my U.G (mech. branch) and they had reported some problem with my signature . Even on me sending it again for about 4 times i am not able to book my slot (They have not authorised me yet.),whereas the last dates for slot booking is tomorrow 28/3/16. I am not able to contact them on phone as it says today is not a working day. Can someone help me with the situation I am currently in.

PROS:
(1)Excellent infrastructure.Super high-fi class room,library ETC.
(2)Dope environment .huge campus.
(3)Very open minded and restriction free environment (which may be a con for someone)
(4)Excellent crowd .stydents from every part of india and the world
(5)Lots of courses.Ex:Medical,allied science,nurshing,engineering,besic science,designing ETC
(6)katurba medical collage is one of the test and oldest self financed medical collage of india.
*(7)Tag of "institute of emminence"
(8)in campus hostels.hostel is just like a 5 star hotel.
(9)Lots of shopes,canteen etc inside the campus
(10)Most of the facilities are decent.some are really Great.
(11)Fees are justified as compared to the facilities.
Fees for engineering:3+ lpa
Hostels fees:starting from 90000/annum.
(12)decent placements.specially for CSE and IT students
Highest pack:30+ Lpa ( domestic)
Ave pack for CSE and IT:6-7 lpa
Ave pack for core branches:3-5 Lpa
Ave pack for other branches like management,mca etc: 2-5 lpa
(13)Lots of cultural and tech fests.
(14)more then 200+ Clubs

CONS:
(1)Placments for core branches would be better
(2)Lots of students are addicted to weed,alchohol,etc


So if you are really interested in studying rather then drinking alcholol then Manipal is a sure place for you.here you will get Excellent exposure with in hands experiences of technology and Lots of other things.the fees might be a factor but if you compared it with the facilities then the fees are justified.

Top management should focus on this. Very bad experience with them. Teachers / college office staff have no any responsibility. They don't have any responsibility.

Manipal University is located at a neat and clean area of Manipal Karnataka. It is an excellent University with facility of good education.
