Great attraction, but don't waste money on the extra shows.
Great attraction, but don't waste money on the extra shows.
Great place to lool at the fishes there.. Family bonding, friends and so on. Its very crowded too. Worth it to go inside.. So what are you waiting for visit Manila Ocean Park now..
Maybe good and nice place to enjoy your Hangouts w/ friends..
It seems their collection of marine animals are smaller than before. They needed to stock up
Brings back nostalgic old memories of my previous visit 2 years ago.
Visited in July. The place clearly needed maintenance. At the entrance, however, the water continued to enter, the roof could no longer hold up the rain. Furthermore the indications were not very clear to move from one environment to another.
Inadequate aircon. Breastfeeding area is exposed in the clinic. Clinic is also unkept; dirty sheets and no attendant.
Worst day ever ... dear money here. It's a good luge to pay for what it has. Taz from 5k daw 995 nlng with 15 going and going. The most devastating itinerary is BOH, PENGUIN TALK SHOW, WORLD OF CREEPY CRAWLIES, TRAILS TO ANTARTICA, NEON etc..hahahha..ang okay lng tlga here and the best is the OCEANARIUM, SEA LION SHOW BIRD SHOW, FISH SPA AND ONLY LOVE BIRDS. 5 OUT OF 15 ... I really love money and one day here ... and yet ..
Staff: Sir please do not leave (around 7:00 pm while opening the door) kse with fireworks. After a few seconds .... WHAT THE "fireworks" na yan.hahahhaha .. saytors pa more tlga sa again iinsulto.hahhahahha ..
Enjoy the Manila Ocean Park which looks like no one will know and no way to approach staff and good luck in finding the destination and the way back to the ground floor. May promo pa..habol po.kayo..sayang din UNG MANGYARING DISCOUNT nila. grab it and you'll know all why.
P.S. mejo may have other animals here. They feel like they're lonely and if you're honest on Saturdays .. At the end of the night, you'll see dancing with water and lighting.
We will be honest the aquarium needs a good refit.
For a little over 500 PHP, we have the aquarium, exotic animals, the farm and the show of sea lions.
The farm is nice because you can have the birds that rest on you, plan seeds.
Very pretty. Different accesses with different prices. Fish reptiles birds and show with lights and water. Very good to go with children
We've enjoyed our visit at Manila Ocean Park with the kids. We've seen a lot of fishes in different types.
A lot of things could be seen. The Oceanarium, the jellyfish display, sealion show and many more!
The trails to antarctica was great too!
It is a fun way to spend your day at the ocean park.
The hotel is perfectly fine. Unfortunately we had some difficulties. For example, the shower was not warm. We have been here more often and it seems like some money should be put into the room again.
Nevertheless, the staff is super nice and the rooms are clean. From some rooms you can watch the park and the great light show.
Best for family and extended families. It's a delightful place.
If you love aquatic/ocean creatures. Kids would love it.
Visited this park twice about 8 years apart. I would have given this park 5 stars back in 2011 because of its world class quality on attractions and activities.
Fast forward 2019, the Oceanarium and Fish spa are still looking great and prices of the souvenirs are still affordable, but I'm giving this 2 stars, as the overall experience and the park's "new" facilities and buffet are underwhelming. For example, the barn and bird house are under maintained, there are no healthy rabbits only one appeared to survived but looks really unhealthy. There were no instruction that the birds can be fed and we brought kids that could have completed their experience despite the lack of bird varieties.
Despite the ticket prices knocking the Php 1,000 price mark per head and loads of field trips visiting the park. There are no indoor seats for visitors to rest, and Air-conditioning on all floors is next to zero it was sweltering hot in corridors. Parking is not a problem, just come early.
Manila Ocean Park has new attractions where you can stay there for the WHOLE DAY! Aside from the attractions, food and novelty items are available.
Make sure to give time for the evening show (before the park closes) and be at the sea lion show area @ exactly 6:30. Its a wonderful show where they make the water, light, and fire to dance.
If you have children companions, there is a swimming pool of balls in the animation area that kids will truly enjoy. A minimal fee of 150 php will be charged for the child's entrance fee. You can rest on the waiting area designed like a ship decks and above it are subdivided areas with small tables and soft ottoman chairs. Coffee and bread are available to be ordered in the cafeteria.
Enjoy!!!
Sea Lion Show, Oceanarium, Jelly Exhibits are just one of my favorite things. Also visited Yexel's Museum. Had a lot of fun! Tiring but twas worth it. :)
great time spent among the fish and animals
we have spent almost full day there but half day is enough to visit every area. we came back in the evening for the water symphony, which was great. we also had some sea food for the dinner after it in a nice place inside. please take the largest package if you are there only for one time visit. US embassy is just nearby.
there is also a hotel in the same building...
Its not as good as my first time to visit the place, but there are lot of improvements, there are lot of restaurants to eat and additional place to visit
Nice place and worth spending some time, especially with the lack of family places in Manila .. Flawed by the lack of payment card in the shops and the lack of clarity of the program purchased where there is more than a plan to buy with different prices
The most important thing is the sea lions show and hawk shows
The oceanarium pays off, but the other attractions of the second package (P650) were quite disposable. Maybe it's good for kids
The kids will enjoy this kind of places + it's educational. 4 stars because there is this certain show that they didn't stop even if the weather is already turning bad. Hey management, animals get scared too, I know you trained them, but come on! Lightning and a thunderstorm?! Animals get scared too~ and we humans will understand if you suddenly stop the show, that is called being concern and having a conscience.
My daughter loved the shows and the fishies, but my gosh... Sabay sabay ang nag-fieldtrip when we were there. Sobrang dami ng tao and sobrang init. Sana sinara nalang nila para students nalang na kasama sa fieldtrip ang nandoon.
The place is in need of some upkeep too. It drizzled while we were there and we had trouble finding the exit. Apparently we were supposed to use the emergency exit. And the entrance/exit was dripping too.
Restroom was meh... Had a cockroach keep me company in the cubicle when I had to pee.
The place doesn't seem to give justice to the ticket price anymore.
The package for ocean park are very appealing. I bought the ocean sky wonder package(10-in-1 attraction) but only few attractions were available. Trails to antartica , penguin talkshow jellies the photos below were the only nice attractions to see. Creepy crawlies was nice too but they dont have descriptions of the animals only names thats all.
It is good to know that we have our own oceanarium here in Metro Manila, quite decent but have flaws that can be resolved easily.
Fuctioning airconditioning are not provided in most area, you can hear people complaining about the place being warn to hot.
Birds of prey area... Expecting something great... But it will turn to kaput as it is only for a 1 or 2 tops of birds flying around and the Manila bay trash was not cleared and can be seen by all patrons.
Overall, it is the family experience and bonding that made me give the place 4 stars.
Ocean Park is well maintained and updated H2O needs lots of work
Been here years ago, and the place is crowded with tons of students on excursions. Learn a lot from marine life and species and just enjoy taking lots of pics.
Feel like traveling in Ancol with fewer attractions
The holiday season is very busy and there are no visitors to direct it
Messy and disorderly
Want to enter must be fought over
But for those who bring these children it is very suitable
There are also many fish collections, be careful the floor is sometimes slippery
I was disappointed with the place. It got me all bored and tired. How the trainers hosted the shows were a bit dragging. However, the animals' performance were entertaining.
I hope they will try to improve this place and put some benches or chairs where visitors of the park could sit and rest. We just used the hotel's lounge to sit and relax for a while.
If you've been to Ocean Park Hongkong, this place would probably disappoint you. You would not feel you were in an ocean park. You would think you're in an old mall with signages saying it's the entrance to this or that. I would appreciate the place if they would decorate it like you were really in an Ocean park. They lack the theme-feel presence.
I changed the atmosphere in Manila and I was entertained but I would recommend visiting it and the views vary
Rundown already. Some attractions like that with the jellyfish, feel like a scam. Peeled carpet flooring, old paint, leaking ceiling, female comfort room smell of sewer leak, with broken tiles, shabby restaurants, limited food choices, tiangge selling tacky products...the place needs an overhaul
Verry nice to avail the attractions plus eat all you can. Pagkatapos mo mag ikot sa mga attractions. Kakain ka.
Very awesome experience! My brothers enjoyed it so much. We will surely be back soon together with the whole family.
All shows are good except the penguin talk show. I was totally a waste of time and money.
Best to bring your kids to. The sceneries were awesome, to the point that it's both enjoyable and educational. I can't forget the Jellies exhibit. It's magical. It's a bit pricey but the promos would cut the cost a bit. Also make sure to bring extra money since the basic foods (silog) are expensive.
Expensive, shabby and rundown, in desperate need of a coat of paint and some renovation. A couple of dead fish need to be removed from the tanks, the "Antarctic penguins" are a joke- Overall, to many souvenirs and not enough substance!
What an awesome exhibit... nice for children viewing and educational tour.
The place is nice but very neglected. The aquariums are untreated. And lots of sick fish. In short, it does not reach the ankles of the underwater observatory in Eilat.
But handicap accessibility is fine.
Manila Ocean Park is an oceanarium located behind the Quirino Grandstand at Rizal Park. It is subdivided into several sections, each with corresponding entrance fees and viewing time. The Oceanarium is the soul of the park. They also have sections for reptile and birds.
The best. It's like you will see different types of fishes there. So amazing, I saw even fishes not in the movies. It's just wow. When I was there, my mind keeps wondering of my little boy, he must love seeing it.
Nice place for family activity. So hot during our visit and so many students at that time. Sea lion show at 3pm is scorching.
Nice one day excursion, a lot to see from colorful aquarium to interesting shows. Don't miss sealion show, really great experience. Takse enough time for visiting. Be there at least before lunch time to enjoy a spectacular day.
There are nice attractions, just be prepared to walk around all day.. have water with u to battle the heat.. the cleanest restroom is the one at the oceanarium..
Liquid buffet - 4kind of foods(rice included) from 11am to 12nn. thanks
Pretty cool place, but it badly needs cleaning and maintenance in a lot of areas.
A place where you can see the Flora and Fauna of the Philippines in one place
Nice place to take the family and we had a blast, seeing all the animals
A little small but not bad. A good place to take the family with kids.
Very nice place, attractions are fun, a different way to spend a day
I have been here several times and I think their waste disposal is a question mark, so is there sewerage system.
