I have repeatedly tried to call the DC office. Each time, it rang multiple times and then disconnected. Today, I attempted to call the NY office. It rang for 3 minutes; then I gave up. I guess this is a better resukt than the repeated. DC disconnects.
I just called Sen. Schumer's Manhattan office. A woman answered after 6 or 8 rings. She put me on hold for about 30 seconds, then came back on the line. I expressed my opinion, and gave some other information. The woman thanked me for expressing my concerns and said she would pass them along to Sen. Schumer.
I can't get through to him. I send emails, no reply. I call all numbers, no reply. I am his constituent and this makes me angry.
Nobody answers his telephone in Washington. You just hear Schumer tell you one of his staff members will be with you shortly but nobody ever comes to the phone. Worse than a big corporation!
Calling the office to register support or opposition is easy. Appreciate the responsiveness to us as constituents
They don't answer the phone, and the mailbox is full.
