very good hotel in KL, high standards of the Mandarin, great food

It was a great experience. I liked everything and service was great.

I have not stayed here. is too expensive for me. But sitting in the lobby comfortably on comfortable armchairs drinking coffee is great.

One of the older high end hotels in KLCC, still holds its own. Quality rooms, good breakfast good facilities. Very nice pool area with a good view. Also possible to play golf & tennis (at a cost). Staff are polite and responsive you are unlikely to be disappointed.

Staying accommodation when staying in Kuala Lumpur. Club lounge recommended. Twin Tower is also 2 minutes on foot.

Looks and feels run down. It's not the exclusive feel anymore.

Long lines at check-in, but service was great. They were kind enough to pick up my lost luggage at the airport. The room I stayed in was spacious and beautiful. The breakfast spread was overwhelming! Very huge spread and everything was delicous. You must include that option in your room. 5/5!!!

Luxurious hotel in the middle of KL. Perfect location for exploring the city. Nicely appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Great service and warm/friendly staff.

Being here quite a few times. The design of the hotel is well thought of and the banquet area is spacious enough to accommodate delegates for their break. It is easily accessed from KLCC via underground walkway as well as LRT from KLCC station. Not advisable to drive there if you are attending events due to the traffic around the area especially in the evening.

First time to have chinese cooking style with fine dining...not bad

Hotel here is amazing, especially for new year where you can see the fireworks in the room.

5 star hotel next to an upmarket shopping centre and iconic twin tower within a central park

Whenever there is a celebration, I like to come to the mosaic restaurant to enjoy the buffet. Although the seafood here is not the most luxurious and delicious in the city, the dessert here is the most delicate and exquisite restaurant I have ever eaten in the buffet restaurant in Geelong.

Nice luxury hotel, restaurant is one of the best in KL if not the only hotel restaurant . If Im Hungry and I want to enjoy food, I go to mandarin oriental hotel.

Best buffet breakfast I have ever seen! Staff were extremely welcoming. Cocktails by the infinity pool are a must.

Very satisfactory hotel except for the usual hordes of mainland trash for the holidays.apart from that prime hotel in best location. The security during a convention was worse than going through tsa. Nice rooms, good food. A bit expensive.

A very central location right next to Petronas towers. Great hotel and great service from the staff. Valet service was convenient and room service was high in quality.

I can only rate this place as an outsider and not as a guest of the hotel.

The brand, Mandarin Oriental does suggest a premium class hotel and it does so very succesfully too.

However, its proximity to KLCC & Suria poses a slight problem in that the lobby, main driveway and sides of the hotel are open to all and sundry such as the likes of riff raffs like yours truly.

Its location smack between KLCC & Suria means visitors need to pass through the hotel. It's driveway also serves as a public pick up/drop off for visitors to the area.

On the flip side, this has got to be the most convenient location for guests wanting to attend meetings/exhibitions at KLCC etc, high end shopping at the various luxury stores or even to put up for a night after attending a performance by the Petronas Philharmonic.

Anyway it is just my personal view. If i had the money, i rather spend it somewhere more peaceful and away from all the hustle bustle & traffic jams

BUT to be truthful and fair, the Mandarin Oriental has indeed become a prominent landmark in KL.

Came here for meeting, place too small to cater to large crowd. Refill coffee, tea slow and staff in black not friendly. The staff refilling the refreshments overworked and slow. Not a suitable place for large crowd of more than 1000 people.

In general, it's Mandarin Oriental kind of great service. One star deducted because 3 staff members couldn't tell exactly whether there is a cigar bar :(

This is one of the oldest & best 5 star hotel in Kuala Lumpur. It's very near to KLCC and walkable to Bukit Bintang and other areas in the heart of KL City

Excellent location, excellent facilities, great food, have dinner at the Mosaic, Chinese restaurant or at the poolside, then relax at the lounge with a few drinks and enjoy the views of the KLCC Gardens and fountain when seating outside.
