What a lovely treat and escape to Boston! The rooms have been beautifully renovated and yet are still comfortable and elegant. I love the sofa and table with two arm chairs! Housekeeping was fantastic and went above and beyond. The huge bottles of water were greatly appreciated. Erika, Katharina, and Will at the front desk are top notch and provided excellent guest service. We can't wait to come back to this beautiful hotel and city!
I tried booking a spa day through the webpage and it wasn't allowing me to confirm my booking date and told me to give the spa service a call. I called for service and no one picked up their phone so I left a voice mail and also emailed them. There's still no response from this place. Very disconcerted with this hotel spa and I am not going to bring any business to this establishment. Great way of showing your professionalism Mandarin Hotel!

Amazing hotel and wonderful staff. The location is perfect and you can walk to stores and shops and restaurants and cafes.The hotel is also directly connected to the shopping center which is great and convenient. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The SPA is very tranquil and I enjoyed some time in their quiet room too. If you are a runner you can easily run from the hotel around in the neighbourhood and I think it s every Monday that you can run with the GM from the hotel. They serve free tea and coffee in the morning at the reception which I enjoyed when I got up early and was jetlagged. The concierge was amazing too, all their recommendations were spot on and the kept on coming with good ideas.
Great place for a weekend getaway with an amazing spa and a team that demostrated they would do anything to accommodate their guests. They are in the heart of back bay with easy access to shopping, parking and fine dining.
True to its branding, Mandarin Oriental Boston for me is The place to stay! Having stayed in numerous 5-stars hotels in Boston area, I must admit that this hotel gives me the best feeling of home away from home.
Customer service here is par excellence, and they do make every efforts to make you feel important!
Rooms are spacious smells clean, sheets are clean & comfy and room decor is pretty contemporary in design.
Having breakfast at Bar Boulud is definitely the best thing one can ask for a hearty breakfast. Though selections are limited, its made up for with quality of fare served and excellent service and wait staff.
Only hitch I felt was checking in. Drove in from Logan International and it was pretty late in the evening, about 8pm. As they outsourced the valet, and there was only one valet in attendance, it was a messy affair trying to make sure our 6 pieces of luggages get moved in. To make matters worse, no staff from MO around so this poor valet guy gotta move our luggages into the hotel and still park our car.
So it wasn't a good first impression we had for sure. Thankfully the front desk staff was around and we did managed to get all that sorted out.
Still, I will come back to stay, given that the location is super convenient. Restaurants, cafes, malls, places of interests are all within walking distance. I can have my morning walk at Boston Commons or head out to Storrow Drive and run along the scenic Charles River & have my coffee at Barrington Coffee after that.
Definitely recommend this hotel to those who are new to Boston.
What a lovely and relaxing day at the spa. The holiday brunch was spectacular. Ot what you would expect from MO.
The best customer service! Each associate we interacted with was genuinely interested in why we were there and what we wanted to do in the city. The room was stunning and the cleaning crew was magnificent.
