Love the pool area , quite great for family vacations. Clean property, however, in room amenities is horrible towel so thin , they don't have robes or house slippers. I love how the shower seprate from the bathtub and bathroom has separated with the door close but they only have one floor towel and it was surprised for a big brand high pay rooms to have a cheap quality room amenities. was on 30th floor with a beautiful view of the pool, but I was shocked how much they charge you to drink their coffee in room with cheap power coffee maid creamer and a sugar on a throw away cup $12 more than my venti latte at Starbucks. At the bar cause me $30 for bud light and class red house vino. If you ask if I ever stay maybe yes but not going to drink cheap coffee in room
Mandalay Bay is a great place to visit for adults and children alike. The aquarium provides entertainment for kids and there are a variety of food and drink options. The pools are also incredible. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend Mandalay Bay to anyone looking to visit Las Vegas.
It's an amazing event venue. It's tough to imagine there's space to hold multiple conferences here at once. I'm attending as a vendor at Surfaces. If an organization wants to do it big this is the place to be.
Lovely hotel. We stayed at the four seasons which is the top floors of the Mandalay Bay. Beautiful suites and splendid service. Stayed there for 5 days and felt like i was at home. The bell boys are also very courteous. The only problem was the hotel car is never available as everyone wants to use it (complimentary service). Very serene area if that's what you prefer.
Great Hotel, House of Blues is a great place to get a bit to eat and see a show. The Foundation Room has one of the greatest views of the strip. The room are very nice. The Buffet is wonderful, but there are several great Restaurants in the Casino.
Went for the Shark Reef and Polar Experience. Loved the aquarium portion, could spend hours watching the fish swim around. Polar Experience was neat. Lots of interactive displays, mostly geared toward children. The 'ride' was a bit underwhelming. Overall, a fun and educational experience.
We booked a panoramic suite, and the room was beautiful except for the fact the air conditioning wasn t working and there were no other rooms available. We have had to sleep in a room that the temp was over 80 F. Using the tub and showers was impossible due to black mold coming out with the water. We repeatedly called the front desk, and they sent maintenance numerous times, and each worker gave a different excuse as to why the problems existed. The only compensation we were offered was a meal voucher. Three nights and days in a suite where we are told the air can t be fixed, and maybe we should keep our curtains closed so the in room temp doesn t hit 90 F? Not to mention we have a vow renewal ceremony coming up and have hair and makeup people coming in and there s no point in having your hair and makeup done in a sweltering bathroom. We paid thousands of dollars for a room and this is how we are treated. It seems they just want to wait out our stay before they do anything. We come to Las Vegas often, and have had much better stays at The Venetian and The MGM Signature. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Absolutely love the layout of this casino, they have all the old slot favourites in one area near the cage. They also have all the newer slots spread out nicely, several good places to play Bartop VP (albeit with strip parables) and the place never feels smokey or too crowded for me. Good food options and a generally clean / modern feel. Always pop in for some gaming each trip.
Great all-around Resort in Vegas! Rooms are excellent and upgrades are frequently available. Several different dining options and I have never been disappointed in any of them. Service is excellent. The pool scene is another good attribute to this location. As with all Vegas resorts, the Cabana scene is somewhat pricing. There are a few different options for nightlife on-premises. Also very good.
Love that there are so many pools to choose from. There is even a chess board in one of the pools. Wave pool and lazy river is perfect for the kids. We happened to order a sample platter and loved it.
What a great convention space! And excellent parking situation. Easy in & out with short walk to entrance. You'll do plenty of walking inside - it's really big!
Had breakfast at House of Blues. Best kept secret in Vegas is their breakfast special. $8.99 for two eggs, bacon or sausage, and hash browns. We spent almost double that at Luxor's diner for the same amount of food. Plus they gave us free tickets to an Eagles tribute band for Friday night.
Love the Manadalay Bay rooms are first class we stayed at the 30 floor and the view was awesome. Security was on poi nt and there was so many restaurants to choose from and live bands at open bars. The casino was great atmosphere was exciting and night clubs if you wanted to dress up and dance the knight away. Their beaches were awesome. Looking forward to going back.
Came here for one night not sure how it would be since the shooting that took place a few months ago. But, there where alot of security enforced but the check in process was smooth and the room was really nice.
Had a fantastic time here even just for one night. Opted for the Buffet inside the Delano (sister resort next door) and for $42.99 we had all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink (wine and beer) for two hours!
Day of checkout we used the pool for 3 hours. Finding seats on a Saturday afternoon was slightly challenging but we were able to get 2 seats within 10 minutes or so. Highly recommend the lazy river!!
Was there for a March Madness viewing party at Light. Staff was super rad and helpful and Light had their A game going for the viewing party. Bathrooms were kind of gross, but not a big deal. I would definitely recommend Mandalay and Light Club specifically for March Madness viewing parties.
FIVE STAR FOR MANDALAY BAY VERY NICE AND CLEAN CASINO ALL STAFF IS VERY VERY FRIENDLY,VERY NICE RESTAURANT ,THE BEST SHOW EVER..EVERYONE MUST GO AND VISIT MANDALAY BAY ,AND DON'T FORGET THE SHARK REEF AND SAY HELLO TO THE BIG SHARK..I LOVE MANDALAY BAY .
Booked at Mandalay Bay but because of Covid and since it was a week day they moved us to the Delano. Nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. Beautiful room, large shower and big bathtub, separate living room, and two bathrooms.
Not all the shops were open. Only pool open is at Mandalay Bay, and not all pools open, only one of the smaller ones, but still nice. Casino floor was fairly empty, masks are required and they keep it clean. Parking was free. Not all restaurants open and reservations required to keep social distancing.
Whenever I come to Vegas I stay at the Mandalay Bay. It is not as crowded as the hotel resorts but there are tram systems near by to get you where you need to go. They have a fun casino and plenty of restaurants. The pools are great too!
Don't even bother going during the pandemic. EVERYTHING IS CLOSED: EVEN THE BATHROOMS, and don't even try to get a drink, you out of luck there, all the bars and lounges ans even restaurants are closed. You can't get a cup of coffee till 9am. DON'T GO HERE.
I cannot rate the Mandalay Bay as we just walked thru the beautiful resort. The family is planning a trip to Vegas and we wanted to check it out. Inside is very elaborate and clean. The pool area was not yet open but looks remarkable. I'm sure if we go back it will be 5 stars
The Delano rooms were fantastic. The lobby was phenomenal. However, they could use a few more employees manning the front desk. Seems like everytime that I went by the front desk for Mandalay Bay hotel or the Delano tower, there was a rather lengthy line of people. People on vacation and they have to wait. Not what they had planned. Get there early. But a great time was had outside of that.
WOW! The pools are amazing! My little girls (7&12) and I had a blast, it wasn't so crowed that we could find a couple of chairs, so the was nice. Our room was gorgeous
We only played in casino and absolutely loved it. The casino is spacious, clean and elegant looking. We plan on staying there next time we visit Vegas!
Me and my husband came to Mandalay Bay for our honeymoon, we stayed for 1 week. We did pay the resort fee with our reservation and once we arrived we were told there s a $400 security deposit if we order in dining room service etc. Which will be refunded after our stay.
The resort king room- is beautiful, the view is breathtaking. Our pillows were soft which we prefer, house keeping did an outstanding job they cleaned our room everyday and provided what we needed. You do have a mini fridge that has drinks and snacks, anything you consume will be charged to the room. (Weight sensored)
We paid $21 for sunscreen, so you can have an idea.
Restaurants + Casino- They have a whole floor just for gambling and it s huge. If you want to go to any restaurants at Mandalay Bay you do have to walk through casino and you do smell a lot smoke. Just a caution if your staying with family and children. They do have a store which sells snacks and drinks but be prepared to pay x2
We went to a local grocery store and bought a pack of water bottles and chips (snacks) to munch on in room instead of spending $$$ out
You must wear a mask, they have hand sanitizer and face mask stations everywhere which is free to use for everyone. Which they did an amazing job keeping everyone safe.
Overall, Mandalay Bay was a great stay and experience for Las Vegas. It stands out on the strip and it s the gold building, very luxurious the design is beautiful.
It's just too big overall if you're visiting the casino. We were trying to decide if we wanted to eat lunch after we gambled for a while, but decided to just go elsewhere. Everything is far too spread out to make anything worth the walk.
Totally ruined our Vegas vacation experience - after having a great 5 days with our dear friends - we were surprised to find that a large amount of money was taken from our room. Please understand we thought we were doing the right thing locking up our extra money in the room safe. Well that did not apparently matter at your establishment. Whom ever on your payroll decide they needed to look through our closed closet and get into our locked safe to make sure they got a large tip on our last day of our trip. Yes we have filed a report with your security but the fact that you most likely knowing have a dishonest employee that is going through your guests items is appalling. We will not be recommending your hotel and will make sure everyone is aware of the service we received. We expect this incident to be reviewed and restitution made - this is not what we except from a MGM Property.
The cardio room closes at 8pm. If you want an actual gym, there is a fee and it closes at 8pm as well. The walls are pretty thin and I can hear the person in the room next to me talk (all night long).
Also they charge you to make coffee in your own room.
The pool is nice, and my room is very clean, however.
Went to a sushi bar here and to see the shark reef. Very clean, and very fun trip! Sushi was a bit overpriced for what we got ($40 sashimi "platter" of 15 small pieces), but quality was high. The shark reef was worth the admission price, unlike the secret gardens at the Mirage. Easy to get to via tram from The Excalibur. Only thing I might suggest is moving walkways since it's such a big resort and the tram is so far from the reef.
This was a disappointing experience from the start. The hotel "lost" my reservation, which I still don't understand because I had a confirmation email AND paid a deposit. I had to "reinstate" my reservation, pay again, and still lost the room I had. My wife and I were put in a double queen room (we booked a king).
The room was spacious and clean, but a complete money trap. The fridge is stocked with wildly overpriced drinks on sensors. If you even MOVE any of the items, you will be charged. What really bothered me was that you can't even fill the 2 (intentionally) empty spaces with your own items. If you do, they will charge your room $50 a night. The only place to find these rules is in the tiny fine print on a little card on the back of the counter. They're clearly hoping you don't notice so they can sneak in a $50 fee on you. The coffee, which is complimentary in just about every hotel, will cost you $5 a cup. There is a Starbucks downstairs that will sell you a cheaper cup of coffee than the little Keurig cup Mandalay wants to charge you $5 to make yourself.
For what you are paying, you would think the hotel would be in great shape. This is not the case. Multiple elevators have broken key card readers (required to get to your room floor). There were card readers on the guest rooms that had broken housings. The whole experience felt like a cheap scam dressed up as a nice hotel. Very disappointed in our visit.
Excellent hotel, located nearby airport and on the start of the Las Vegas Blvd. Easy check in and check out, great amenities and atmosphere. Friendly cleaning staff and luxury rooms. Highly recommended.
I've stayed at quite a few Vegas hotels and this hotel just didn't do it for me. The hotel itself was okay in the way it was designed but their service was very bad. We book a king size room and ended up getting a queen. I didn't push the issue at first because we can easily fit in a queen. However this room was one of those rooms that have a door that connects to another room. This door was obviously locked but come 4 AM we got to know our very loud Australian neighbors. I went down to the front desk to complain and after about 15 minutes I finally got them to change my room to the original size that I had booked.
I enjoyed my stay. I had one issue however it was handled quickly and professionally. Lots of places to dine and hangout at. My one reservation is that the prices seemed to be quite expensive. So if you do stay here and you are budget conscious. I would suggest that you find other food options. Besides that it was a great stay.
We stayed here for 4 nights on a recent trip. The rooms are large with modern furniture and a comfortable bed. Our room had a nice view. Overall the room was very comfortable and tidy. The check-in process can be improved. We had to wait 25 minutes in a large queue, which was a bit annoying after a long car journey. On another occasion we were woken up by multiple phone calls from reception and on two occasions cleaning staff would knock on our door even though we had a do not disturb sign.
They nickel and dime you for everything, more like quarter and dollar. Expensive rooms when compared to other newer and nicer hotels on the strip. Empty hotel. Friendly staff. Great food at Border Grill. Wouldn't stay at again.
We visited Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay on a Wednesday night. The crowd was pretty good and the dj was spinning older hip hop/pop music; he was pretty good. Drink prices are outrageous, as are most Vegas clubs, but cover was free off the guest list.
The personal attention to detail and 2nd to none customer service is the best experience I've ever had and I have been in at least 500 different hotels over the past 20 year's. I would also like to communicate that the Hotel it's self and additional attention to customer care was incredible... thanks for a great week to be remembered for ever...Hitman
