Nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Always consistent, always delicious classic Italian food. And the garlic bread is just THE BEST.

Their red sauce and garlic bread are the best! Ever!! The staff is so nice and friendly and efficient.

I believe this establishment should invest in a educated trip to an Olive Garden, Maggianos, or a Bertuccis. I like 'rustic' Italian, but my tortellini should not be swimming in a bowl of alfredo sauce and also if I order a 14oz steak, I expect that, and not two 7oz steaks.

Prompt friendly service. No wait for table. Food prepared and served as expected. Attentive waitress. Cod and steak dinner my new favorite!

Like going back in time to a real old city Italian restaurant in Philly. But in Ishpeming. Great service too.

This place is expensive, but worth it. The Italian food is amazing, heck even their streak was. It was so good No steak sauce was required and I savored piece of it.

For as long as I ve lived around here, this was my first time eating here. I must say that it was very good! Had a steak with a salad...yummy!

My boyfriend and I went here on Valentine's day. At first I was kind of put off by the pricing (were in our early 20's), but after seeing how much food we really got, I was extremely happy with it. The meal we chose equaled out to about $5 per course, and we had leftovers to take home even. Definitely not small portions. The waitress was also great, and we will be returning! I enjoyed it much more than my last visit to the villa and any visit ive made to the casa.

The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere relaxed and the it was beautiful little place, clean and cozy. Would recommend to everyone. Loved it!

Wow, what a place. All of our meals came with soup, salad, garlic bread, the entree, and ice cream. I would definitely come back here.

Great service and excellent broiled salmon and steak!

Had the Sacchetti filled with mushrooms with a meat sauce. Dinner came with mouth watering garlic bread, minnestrone soup, house Italian antipasto salad and Ice Cream for dessert. Not bad price for around $20.

The booths were not spacious to accommodate people of larger build so we did not actually eat here other than that it looked nice inside

It has really declined in quality and sharply increased in price. The garlic toast was still good though and service was great. We won't be going back though. Almost 30 dollars for a bowl of noodles was a bit much.

Whenever we can we go to Mama Mias. We ve been going here since we moved to the area. It was first recommended by my hsband s boss and from the start we fell in love. I always get the same thing. Chicken tetrazzini. It s delicious and that garlic bread is unbelievable. Crispy outside and chewy center. I can t reaist ordering an extra piece. Skip usually gets a steak and salad with a side of lasagna. He swears no one makes them better. We had my daughter s rehearsal dinner here a few years ago to. Everything is affordable priced and worth every penny and then some.

The food and atmosphere are great. The staff do a superb job of ensuring customers enjoy dining there.

Very nice food, and when I was little I would look at the decorations like stars on the ceiling.

The bread, dipped in buttery flavoring was decadent. Spaghetti sauce had little flavor. Lasagne was served with lots of sauce and little cheese. Shrimp scampi was served in a soup bowl swimming in a yellow broth. The fish did not seem fresh and was overcooked and under seasoned. The prices were high for the quality of the foods our group was served. The murals in the back room were great and the decor unusual.

It has a relaxing atmosphere, great food and family friendly. I favor this over the 2 big name Italian restaurants in Marquette.

Not as good as it used to be, prices are way too high and why are there no pictures of the cudughi or steaks? which are terrible no compared to what they were. You should go to tinos in Negaunee for your cudughi.. Mama Mia's used to be that good but they're horrible now..

Been ordering quite often because this is a restaurant I want to succeed after the COVID-19 crisis is over. Tonight, there was a small problem with our order, but it was corrected without complaint. As usual, the food was DELICIOUS. Thanks!

This restaurant is amazing! I love the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. Service is professional and friendly, And the cooks are spectacular! I would suggest it to anyone. Especially for a date night.

Staying in the u.p for the summer we came across mama mia's it's a little hidden Italian gem in Ishpeming. We have been there 4 times now the food is awesome and so is the staff.

The gluten free cauliflower pizza crust is wonderful!

Be prepared for butter butter and more butter. Their garlic bread is nice.

Absolutely incredible! Service was impeccable, food was fast, hot, and yet amazingly delicious. Ordered a five course meal, and each course came out with perfect timing, enough to finish one, and get the next imediantly after. Recommend to anyone within a great distance!

I was a huge fan of the steak sandwich. I'd order one once a week with cheese onions and mushrooms. Best sandwich in the UP. They have a few different cooks one who is awesome and one who doesnt know what they are doing. I usually just roll the dice but on my last trip I got the bad cook with bland steak and they always wrap it in foil which soggs the bread to soup. The good cook doesnt do this. Anyhow I called to get my nasty sandwich replaced. When I got the replacement they gave me the angry cook treatment. The meat smelled rotted cheese was off the sandwich in the wrapper and overall looked disgusting. I didnt eat it and that ends my ever going to this place again. P.s. if you aren't a yooper this place is not good food. It's just ok, yoopers dont know good food at all!

I've never had a bad meal here. I always get the lasagna since it's my favorite. But the service is always good and food well prepared. We will keep coming back.

We had a group of 18 and the staff and food where absolutely amazing!! The pizza was the best I have ever had!!

This is anishpeming classic. I remember it being all right Italian food. A step above the Olive garden not quite what you'd find in New York City. What I found very disappointing was the lack of plant-based options on their menu. I am sure Ishpeming is not full of folks following a vegan diet but not having a plant plant based option was disappointing. Along with the plant-based portion of my diet I don't eat non-hole wheat pastas so even the vegetarian pasta sauce was only served on standard processed spaghetti. The salads might have been available without cheese and processed meats but it would have only left a vinegar and oil soaked iceberg lettuce mix without any nutritional value and a lot of fat. The atmosphere at mama Mia's is nice it's clean with friendly staff services very attentive they don't rush you out after your meal. That's a place to take your family for a laid-back casual dinner it is a good choice.

If you want authentic Italian food, don t come here. Very disappointing. I ordered the Manicotti and the sauce clearly from a can. We won t be back.

Food was delicious! It's a very nice little place and all the staff there is super friendly. You can also get food there if you have allergies, just ask the staff and they will help you out. Will definitely be going back again.
