Malibu Castle Park Review

This place is stayed the same for over 30 years yes we love it and I bring my kid there it's exactly the way it was when I was a kid definitely needs an upgrade it is way too long to take your son or friend there or a date for golfing on the weekend it's a 30-minute line they need to fix the course and get better security guards I don't so rude.

This course finally gave me a chance to rekindle my relationship with my estranged father. After spending years apart we got to get together over an ice cold Arnold Palmer and really tear up the back nine. Hole 13 on course 2 is my personal favorite and while playing that particular hole I completely forgot that my father abandoned my mother and myself as as child. So, thank you Sherman Oaks Castle Park, you're the best six dollars and fifty cents I've ever spent.

Played miniature golf for the first,and like it yes I won,my friend Nick didn't take that to well. But we had fun

Don't oder the pizza it's very salty the games are boring.

Not the best food, but it's always fun coming here.

I made some mistakes a few years back and left my family. It sent me down a dark road filled with beer, hookers, and crystal meth. I took a chance today and invited my son to this mini golf course, and it has completely changed my life. I've been sober for about 12 hours now and I've never been more proud. Thank you, Castle Park, for finally allowing me to toss the ball around with my son.

We were there for a party and I wouldn't ever host one there. The miniture golf was closed since it rained the night before (not their fault). The problem was with the staff, they delivered the food then said they would be back to serve and they never returned. Then all the moms were hovering around the food table serving their 1 kid. My son was served last since I didn't want to elbow my way through the parents. Isn't that the point of having a host for the party? Moreover, there was a party prior to the one we were attending, but they didn't even bother to clean up after it. We ended up bussing our own tables so we could sit and eat. Mind you we were they last year for the same kids birthday and they provided the same poor service.

Could use some maintenance on the course where suburban fathers have gone hulk mode and torn up little bits of the mat or knocked out a light, but otherwise a legit place.

The arcade is poppin.

This would be a two or three star mini golf place outside of LA. But I'm giving this an extra star because, well, this review is relative. You just don't have any good choices in LA.

One of the three courses was shut down and the course that we were on was missing over half of the light bulbs so it was hard to see at night.

Despite everything being run down and pretty worn out we had a good time. But there's nothing magical about this place. It needs a total overhaul.

The pizza is terrible to be honest. Before was bether but now is like you eathing oil

A must if you have kids 5 - up!!!! Love coming to the batting cages with my girls, then playing 18 holes of miniature golf. They have 4 miniature golf corses to choose from. They also have video arcade games inside. A little bit of something for everyone.

My friends suck at mini golf so I think it's fun. But th4 batting cages are cool and so is the arcade

I had a blast with my niece and nephew while they were taking over the castle. We had lots of fun!

Well it was a Father's Day and me and the kids went had a great golf experience video games and dear old dad can still make a whole in one

my son loves this place. great for miniature golf and some arcade.

The prizes are so cheap. I spent 25$ for no prize with 442 tickets. the Monopoly game board prize is 9,000 tickets which I can easily purchase at the store. I don't recommend it here unless you wanna waste your money. Each game is almost 2$

A few different courses. Not too busy late morning and noonish on the weekend. Fun for kids.

Wanted to go miniature golfing at night time with a group of friends. This was the only place that was open later than 9 so we decided to give it a shot. The courses were pretty fun and some were difficult. The only complaint had to be that there really wasn't enough lighting at night to see where the next course was. It was kind of a maze because some of the lamps were broken.

I've been going there ever since I was little so now it's turn for my little ones to enjoy

The facility is a little run down but it has cheap mini golf. Mini golf! The courses are freeway adjacent, but it is only really noticeable on a few holes.

I used to manage a chain of family fun centers so I know how hard it is to keep them running smoothly. It's tough. Stuff breaks all the time. This place is doing it right though, the batting cages have worked every time I've visited, the putt putt courses are in great shape, and I'm pretty sure every arcade game was operational, which is a real feat. I love that the tickets go on your card and I don't have to hold two handfuls of tickets for my kid. The only thing I haven't tried is the food.

I really enjoyed the music and the play. The weather was beautiful .

Terrible service here! We came to play mini golf and got here while it was drizzling. They sold us mini golf with no problems then, lo and behold no more than 6 minutes later, we had to come in because the rain was a "Hazard". No refunds... Nothing.

Very beautiful place! First time doing mini golf and it was an awesome experience! The arcade was pretty awesome as well!!

What a great place to pass time with the family and have some fun without breaking the wallet. All the activities are managed with tokens and a game card for the arcade! You don't have to carry around a bunch of tickets - it's preloaded onto a card. They also have machines to check your ticket balances. I loved the variety of games they had in the arcade - everything from old school Galaga, Carnival toss style and air hockey, to sit down Halo and Mario Cart. When you swipe your card for each game, the machine will tell you your available balance and ticket amounts. Make sure to watch this carefully because sometimes the machines will not add your tickets to the card. We had this issue and they were nice to add an extra game instead of add our 40 ticket points to the card. Of course the next time she used the free game on the same machine, she didn't get that many tickets.

We enjoyed the batting cages and miniature golf. There is a three token minimum purchase for the batting cages. They supply the bats and helmets. They have an awesome tent with 40, 50 and 60 mph choices with either baseball or high arc softball. Love it. There were kids there that were slaying it in the 50 and 60 mph cages. I would've just enjoyed watching them because they were pros compared to me and my friend. We were just there to try it because it's been over a decade since we've been to one. How embarrassing!

The miniature golf rocked. I can only imagine what it looks like at night. The courses are nicely decorated. I would suggest they place arrows or signs that lead you to the next hole because it could be confusing trying to figure out which way to go. The golf course was nice because there was shade available along with the sound of their cool waterfalls. Very relaxing. I can see this place popping at night.

All in all, the staff here is wonderfully nice and professional for being a young staff. Really well ran and managed. We will be back to experience all this fun at night!

Went here few days ago with my grandkids, we love this place so much. Definitely will come back next holiday with grandkids.

The arcade is not well kept and overpriced but the golf is fine I regiment do not recommend on going on a hot day (miserable) and call before to know how crowded it will be or else you will be miserable if there is a crowd.

While fun, this place is tired and in serious need of some sprucing up. The mini golf greens are littered with divots and the holes aren't very creative. The arcade is so expensive and the games are nearly all games of chance for tickets or big VR/fighting games. It was fun for a date night, but we're not in a hurry to go back.

Castle was fun 40 years ago and it still is. I went here as a kid and have brought both of my children who are 18 years apart. The arcade is typically loud and full of energy. Lately we immature gold more than anything. They have batting cages and gocart type cars. It's been a source of family fun for years.

The only annoying thing is those lil fly that seem to follow u everywhere .

115 degrees weather and it didn't have A/c. I order chicken wings and fries they didn't have fries, so i got onions. When my order was ready i got chicken nuggets and onions. Then the girl made my chicken wings. Smh.

Not 1 but 3 different put put courses and a huge arcade with sophisticated arcade games. Great location for a date night!

Kids had lots of fun we played miniature golf then went inside to the arcade game employees are happy to assist you if you have any questions! Down side we were looking forword to dance revolution but found out they no longer had the game but no worries an employee did inform us they where looking for a newer version of the game I am crossing my fingers!
