Everything was very good. Skirt steak had great flavor. Ham and cheese empanadas was an excellent appetizer. Both are highly recommended. The booth seating wasn't the most comfortable (uneven without a lot of support) so a regular table probably would have been better.

I adore this place very much. theres a happy ambiance. The cuisine is good. the service is powerful and the team is friendly. The price is reasonable. truly recommend.
I went to this steakhouse for restaurant week and hated the steak and flan. The steak was very chewy to the point where I couldn't finish mine. I had very high hopes from it after reading the reviews, but it was a sheer disappointment.
The best delicious food the first-class service the best super clean and very good location super quiet a lot of seriousness and responsibility I loved it I recommend it closed eyes
One of the best meals I have had in Philadelphia! Restaurant had real authentic feel to it. The ambience made for a perfect restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Great drinks also!
Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. The service was helpful and kind. This place has an awesome atmosphere. Reminds me of a place in New York I liked to visit.
The food is authentic , delicious, the service is great. The Owner and his family are very warm hearted , genuine people. It's a great place to be , fun, awesome food , beautiful music Argentine style. A taste of Argentina without having to leave Philadelphia PA. I recommend anyone to go and have a tanfastic superb time at Malbec.
I came here this weekend for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was perfect for celebrating my one year anniversary, the staff was super friendly, and the service was quick! I highly recommend their cocktails, fish, and steak! I am so excited to go back and check out more food menu options!
Our first time at Malbec and we were not disappointed! Amazing food and atmosphere. We had the parrilla argentina, a dish for 2, and it was so tasty and well portioned. I highly recommend the dessert (tres leches and ice cream)
One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Everything is delicious. Their wine is phenomenal. We love coming here for date nights and happy hour. Reminds me of back home, but then again, I may be biased since I am from Buenos Aires ;)
We celebrated my birthday here and couldn't get over the food. The calamari three ways and the morcilla are phenomenal. We ended up coming back a couple days later for the happy hour.
Best Argentinian food I have tested so far, the Parillada was awesome, the Empanadas and the Bread pudding as well, everything was super tasty. The service was at another level, our server Brenda was super kind and super helpful, she helped us choose our food and she did not lie when she told us it was good. The prices where good, you actually pay for what you get. Great service and great food. Will be going there more often.
We passed this restaurant on a walk with the kiddos and booked a reservation for a nice date night later in the week. Would recommend if your looking for a nice low key place. Food was great, recommendations by the waiter were pretty spot on. Overall a nice experience.
Great spot - prices are right - food is solid, culturally appropriate and inventive too. If you're adventurous try the paraillada, both dinner / brunch are very good.
Great experiance. Excellent food and service in a very pretty place. Top quality steaks grilled expertly. Ordered medium and medium well filets, both came out at the right temperature. Appetizers, sides and desert we great as well. Their signature cocktail Tango is very tasty.
don't worry if it's busy, it is worth the wait. next time i'll be back with my relatives. bring your appetite because portions are filling. reminds me of a place in new york i liked to visit.
Wow!!! The food and the service at this place are truly exceptional. My husband had the filet and said it was the best steak he s ever had. I had paella and it was delicious! The atmosphere is great and the staff is kind and attentive. We will definitely be back.
Excellent Argentinian restaurant with very good and tasty actual Argentinian food, excellent service and good prices. You can enjoy delicious empanadas and very good beef.
A group of us came to Malbec for a nice steak dinner after an event. We had reservations and were seated quickly and greeted by a really friendly waiter that joked and laughed with us all night. He really set the mood. We started with a few appetizers: Chorizo o Morcilla, Picada Argentina and a Ceviche that was a special for the night. All three plates were exceptional and each were completely clean before we sent them back! I don't think you can go wrong with the appetizers at all.
For the main course several people got the Rib-Eye steak and it looked amazing. I got the two short ribs and I was disappointed, both ribs were too well done and nearly burnt. The meat was tough and I only made it through one before I had to surrender. Several other guests tried the meat and came to the same conclusion, the meat had been cooked at too high of a temperature for our tastes and lacked any tenderness.
I think next time I go I'll try the steak or maybe I can time a visit for the 29th of the month and try the traditional Noquis, served only one day each month!
Had a late lunch today and the food was fabulous. Some other reviews commented on the service and subtle flavors, but clearly they are not familiar with Argentine cuisine. The steak was spot on and the empanadas were some of the best we have eaten stateside. The fries reminded me of Buenos Aires. Full of parsley! Dessert was super delicious. My wife is from Buenos Aires and she loved the whole experience.
The food was authentic Argentine at its best and service was attentive but not rushed. When you eat an Argentine restaurant, the wait staff will wait to make eye contact before they bother you with the bill. In Argentina, it is very rude to bring you a bill before you ask for it. The owner Walter was extremely friendly and chatted with us for several minutes before we left.
Wow! Do NOT leave without having their Tres Leches! That is my favorite sweet treat and this place does it right! Hands down! Great service, great food! Awesome first time
Pretty good food and service. The appetizers we're a bit on the small side especially the sweetbreads. Decent steaks and wine. Service was attentive. Good desserts. Very good solid dinner.
My wife is Argentinian and I lived for some time in Buenos Aires. It is difficult to find a real Argentinian style steakhouse, and Malbec is a stellar example.
