What an experience, the people are amazing, the food was out of the world, and the animals in the area practically posed for you. We saw the big 5 almost each day and so much more. Our guide, Thabs, was so knowledgeable and super friendly with our two daughters... He made the trip.

Mike and his team are simply the best. The lodges are excellent. The food is superb. The only downside was that I bought 4 sets of really good binoculars, which were a total waste as we got that close to the wildlife.

About Mala Mala Game Reserve

Mala Mala Game Reserve: A Wildlife Haven in South Africa

Mala Mala Game Reserve is a world-renowned private game reserve located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa. Established in 1927, it is one of the oldest and most established reserves in the country. The reserve covers an area of over 33,000 acres and shares an unfenced border with Kruger National Park.

The reserve offers some of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Africa, with a diverse range of animals including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos and many more. It is also home to over 300 bird species making it a birdwatcher's paradise.

Accommodation at Mala Mala Game Reserve ranges from luxurious lodges to comfortable campsites that cater to all budgets. Each lodge or campsite has its unique charm and character that blends seamlessly into the natural surroundings.

One of the main attractions at Mala Mala Game Reserve is its Big Five sightings. The Big Five refers to five African animals that were once considered difficult or dangerous to hunt on foot: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. Today they are protected by law but remain popular among tourists who come from all over the world for a chance to see them up close.

Apart from game drives which are conducted twice daily by experienced rangers who share their knowledge about wildlife behavior and conservation efforts; there are other activities such as guided bush walks where guests can explore nature on foot accompanied by armed rangers for safety reasons.

Another highlight at Mala Mala Game Reserve is its photographic safaris which offer guests an opportunity to capture stunning images of wildlife under expert guidance from professional photographers who know how best to capture those perfect moments.

The reserve also has a strong commitment towards conservation efforts through various initiatives such as anti-poaching patrols aimed at protecting endangered species like rhinos from poachers who target them for their horns which are highly valued on black markets around the world; habitat restoration projects aimed at restoring degraded areas back into healthy ecosystems; research programs aimed at understanding animal behavior patterns so as better manage populations within protected areas among others.

In conclusion,Malamalagamereserve.com offers visitors an unforgettable experience filled with adventure while promoting responsible tourism practices that ensure long-term sustainability for both people and wildlife alike. With its rich history dating back almost a century combined with modern amenities designed for comfort without compromising authenticity makes this destination truly unique amongst other safari destinations across Africa!
