About Makeict
MakeICT: Wichita's Original Community Makerspace
MakeICT is a community makerspace located in Wichita, Kansas. It was founded in 2010 by a group of passionate individuals who wanted to create a space where people could come together to learn new skills and make awesome things. Since then, MakeICT has grown into one of the most vibrant and active makerspaces in the region.
At MakeICT, members have access to a wide range of tools and equipment that they can use to bring their ideas to life. From 3D printers and laser cutters to woodworking tools and electronics equipment, there's something for everyone at this makerspace. Members also have access to workshops, classes, and events that are designed to help them develop new skills and connect with other makers.
One of the things that sets MakeICT apart from other makerspaces is its strong sense of community. Members are encouraged to collaborate on projects, share knowledge and resources, and support each other's creative endeavors. Whether you're an experienced maker or just starting out, you'll find a welcoming community at MakeICT.
In addition to providing a space for people to create things, MakeICT is also committed to promoting STEM education in the local community. The organization partners with schools and other organizations throughout Wichita to provide hands-on learning opportunities for students of all ages.
