This camp works for the good of the scouts it hosts. Each staff member and program is fine tuned to create a great experience for each scout.

This place always brings a feeling of magic whenever I come up here. The staff are phenomenal, the food is good, and the friends last a lifetime. I'm ardently ecstatic to be a part of the staff for the summer of 2019, as well as being part of the 90th anniversary!

This is a great 1500-acre camp. Fantastic staff. Extensive rank advancement and merit badge program. Your choice of platform tents or bring your own. Because there are actually 2 complete camps (East and West), they can support extra activities like climbing wall, zip line, and even a horse ranch. High adventure backpacking, canoe, and kyayk trips are available.

Amazing staff and experience! Favorite Boy Scout camp in the world!

This camp is my most favorite place on earth. The staff are always friendly and energetic. Campers come away from their time at camp a better scout with more knowledge then they ever expected.
The scenery is absolutely stunning and I have never felt so enveloped by the nature around me as I do when I am camping up there.
If you are thinking about sending your scouts to Camp Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan, do it. I promise that you won't regret it and that you too will find that this camp is the best place on earth.

amazing camp and activities. I just wish that there was less distance between everything (10 minute hikes for everything) and less mosquitos but an all around good camp. good activities, staff and food.

Arguably one of the best Boy Scout summer camps in the Midwest, Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan was recently included in Boy's Life's top 10 summer camps in the United States! Over 1000 acres in size, there are actually two fully independent camps on opposite sides of a lake.

Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Scout Reservation is a great camp in Wisconsin. MSR features an awesome lake, various trails, and the occasional black bear. There's endless fun including swimming, fishing, hiking, and more.

This camp is the essence of scouting. Amazing leadership by the older boys. Fun fun and more fun for everyone. Well worth the drive.

This camp has it all...tradition, program, setting, great food, high adventure, a horse ranch, and the most INCREDIBLE Order of the Arrow ceremony in the nation. But most of all, the STAFF is outstanding! They care about the scouts having an amazing experience...and it shows.

I have always enjoyed coming up here every summer. I love all the renovation work they are doing, the staff, traditions, activities it all. Especially coureur des bois program. Love it

Big storm last year that wiped out the came sites that closed came last July and sent the kids and staff and cooks home. Closed for this summer. Clean up crue.loging crue is working at all sites. MN
