I moved to Chicago on 8/5/15, and I recently needed some dental surgery. Dr. Cabrera was recommended to me and I was extremely satisfied with his work and his relationship skills. He was highly professional and patient; and the quality of his work was top notch. Also, when he performed the procedure I experienced absolutely no pain at all - even when he injected the anesthetic in my gums, I did not feel anything. That was, by far, a very welcome first for me. I highly recommend Dr. Cabrera.

Whenever I have had a patient, friend, or family member move to the Chicagoland area, I always have them contact Dr. Cabrera for an oral health evaluation at his office once they have settled in. As a periodontist, his office is best suited to evaluate the condition of your teeth and gums, and he works with the best dental/medical specialists and general dentists in the area.

Pete's thirty plus years of dental experience both as a general dentist and periodontist, and his surgical skills, combined with integrity is all that you are looking for in a health care professional. I have referred several dental implant cases to his office, and all of the patients were impressed with the result, and also the friendliness and professionalism of his excellent staff and partner.

Caring kind and extraordinarily talented. . This is not the first periodontics surgeon to treat me but I will never go back to anyone else. Also his staff is very good and is office is very well organized. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Cabrera was Recommended to me by Dr. Stephen Fishman (my long-term family dentist) via an introductory letter to and conversation with Dr. Peter O. Cabrera about my need for dental surgery. A first introduction/evaluation meeting generated a procedural plan.
My observations.

Dr. Cabrera:
Thoughtful, personable, professional, private, empathic listener.
On time, on message, on target.

Staff:
Friendly, courteous, thorough, helpful

Office:
Organized, convenient (access and parking), modest

Outcome:
Pleasant service, painless results, thorough support and follow-up.
Now on my list of personally experienced professionals that I can call upon
or recommend to friends and others.

Dr. Cabrera and Dr. Quinlan are the best! My procedures have been done with minimal discomfort. Everyone in the office give you great attention and respect.

Getting an implant is a lengthy and costly proposition. Yet to their credit, Dr. Cabrera and his devoted team make the procedure as seamless as possible and well worthwhile.
I should also note the prevailing congeniality and remarkably low turnover of the office.

Dr. Quinlan treated me with great care as I moved through a tooth extraction and implant process. Her tone was always positive, reassuring and calm. I was scared to have the procedures but Dr. Quinlan and the office put me at ease. You will be very well taken care of for your dental implant needs.

I have been a patient at this office for years and everything was great lately for the last couple years he has been very unprofessional , so much that he has said I'm basically an elderly women and should just wait till I passed . Also he had been trying to take my oxygen away and I only have 30 percent of my lungs working honestly stay away specifically of your elderly

I have a complicated plethora of dental issues due to an accident years ago. Dr. Cabrera is the best in the business. I ve had at least 3 different procedures and have recovered well from all of them. He is very kind, patient and keeps my mind at ease. Even in the midst of a pandemic I feel very safe. I don t wish to have additional periodontal treatment; however, if I do require it, reaching out to Dr. Cabrera will be my first phone call.

A few years ago when I needed a front tooth implant, Dr. Cabrera was recommended by a friend who had just had the same procedure.
Dr. Cabrera is a consummate professional. He explains and reassures without being patronizing. I felt as relaxed as I could possibly imagine being, given the reason I was there.
He has surrounded himself with a kind and helpful support staff and while these procedures are not inexpensive I found the charges to be reasonable.
Recently I needed a difficult extraction of a back tooth, and I returned to Dr. Cabrera. My experience was exactly the same.

I have absolutely no hesitation in strongly recommending Dr. Cabrera and his team; indeed it is a pleasure to do so.

Is it wrong to love your DDS and his wonderful staff? I am very fond of everyone in Dr. Cabrera's practice. So much so that I have my teeth cleaned 4 times a year! If you value your dental health make an appointment. Also, I would not even consider letting anyone but Carla clean my teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Cabrera and staff to anyone seeking their services.

I had the great pleasure of working with Dr. Pete Cabrera for 15 years. I met him very soon after I had opened my dental practice, Chicago Smile Spa, back in 2005. I was thrilled to find Dr. Cabrera! I needed a periodontist with superb clinical skills, impeccable ethics, meticulous follow-through and follow-up, and fantastic customer service.
We collaborated for many years and ALL of my patients who saw Dr. Cabrera loved him. My patients would see Dr. Cabrera for either implant placement or some type of periodontal surgery. No matter what treatment my patients received, they came back raving about Dr. Cabrera's attention to detail, gentle treatment, care, and concern. I had 100% confidence in sending my patients to Dr. Cabrera as I knew he would treat them with the same level of meticulous and compassionate care that I did. Even though I've been retired since 2018, I still keep in touch with Dr. Cabrera. I was lucky not only to find the best periodontist in Chicago, but also a kind and caring friend.

It's hard to say "loved it" for dental surgery, but if you've got to have it, he's the periodontist to see. Everything (procedure, cost, etc.) was well explained. Both he and his staff fully answered all my questions. He is very careful and gentle. They did a lot of follow up to make sure I was healing properly. I definitely recommend him.
