We made a quick pit stop here on the way to the nearby bus stop, attracted by the palmiers on display which actually tasted even more amazing than already looked, properly baked and crunchy (being often served chewy or doughy in too many places), while not being too sugary. The mille feuille was rather lovely, too. Both tasted to other times, uncomplicated times, to one s childhood, and being unpretentious is such a quality to esteem nowadays.
We had ordered mocha but instead handed Moroccan tea a mistake promptly corrected with apologies and a smile! Coffee was very strong and tasting to roasted, which I love love so much, even just the smell of it, that I actually burnt my tongue with the first sip.
If it weren t so far from where I m staying in London, would love to try more things!
