Nice place for a short hike. Full loop is 2 miles. Mix of forest and meadow with little elevation change. Spring and summer bring flocks of songbirds. Birders and photographers love it here. Trails are open for cross country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Popular for families and solo users.
This lovely nature sanctuary is a beautiful way to seek peace and calm. The gift shop is just that, a gift shop with interesting items for friends and family. Stay on the lookout for the sunflower bird feeders that could possibly keep a garden bright and inviting to local birds year round.
So gorgeous! One of my favorite places to visit. It's so peaceful with the sound of birds, beautiful wildflowers swaying in the breeze, and shady benches to relax on. A++

We enjoyed our afternoon exploring all the cute trails. We some some nice butterflies and birds. The shop was also very nice and purchased few nice things. Overall it s a nice place to go for a walk and birdwatching.

I love, love, love this place so much. It s a slice of nature right outside of the city, and it s full of wildlife. I ve seen everything from bees in their hives to chipmunks and snakes to wild turkeys and hawks. It s beautiful out there, and well taken care of. The gift shop is also a wonderful place to stop and buy things to support the Audubon.
Accessibility notes: Bathrooms are only available while the building is open.
Not all pathways are easy to access, but there are a lot that are easy to walk on without any obstruction. (roots, rocks)
