I was unsure about the dynamics and importance of Main Street Project until I started working there. I am now aware just how many people there are, without homes and food. It is great that this company exists, as it not only provides shelter, but refers people to other resources that will enable people to get back on track, or speak to someone when they have no one to speak too. This is a company that is not soley focused on harm reduction, but stigma and stereo type reduction as well. Main Street Project emphasizes a home first approach. Having a home is a taken for granted thing by most. I have experienced not having a home and it is an experience that is alienating and devastating to ones self worth. In a world that seems to want quick solutions and answers The Main Street Project and its employee's take the pause and provide individualized support with genuine compassion. We are all worthy of consideration.

Alot of rude staff, contacted lice in there and if you didn't have money to pay for the treatment ( my therapist told me not to bring any money) you went without!!! There was no social distancing with Covid and the place was filthy. Wash my floor when I got there and the water was black, makes me wonder if anything was sanitized, Im guessing not. NOT reccomend, or go if you want lice
