Main street gourmet Reviews

The quality of everything I've had from Main Street Gourmet makes me thankful they aren't just around the corner, or I could gain 100lb. Regardless, I felt the time had come to make a visit and buy something. I assumed they were a bake shop in Cuyahoga Falls, but found myself zig-zagging through an industrial park, which seemed like an odd place for a store. Well, that's because it ain't! Main Street Gourmet is a wholesaler/warehouse that does not have a store front for off-the-street purchases. I pass this on only to save others the trip. Best to check them out at the No Muffin Left Behind sales at Akron-Canton Food Bank, which they conduct a couple times during the year. Five stars anyway.

This place is pathetic. I have a learning disability I learn a little slower then most and I was fired because I made a simple mistake which I was trained to do it that way. I let the hiring department know I have a learning disability and it was just glossed over. I did not improve in my work the way they needed me to improve which I will say is illegal due to my learning disability. Do not work here you will be wrongfully terminated for making a simple mistake and not improve.

Got there an hour before my appointment got me right in a door and gone boom

Picked up here today for the company I work for.
Everyone was great. Gave me a door to back into and had me loaded in 20 minutes.

Shipping dept. is rather pathetic...1shift won't load ya...second shift will have to do it...second shift supposed to be there at 2000 doesnt show up....well it's 2130 and he's still not here. Someone needs to get their cheeit together. Totally pathetic. Only positive thing to say is that their brownies smell great.

You can pick up pre-portioned frozen cookie dough here and it is fantastic but selection is limited.

I worked there for about 4 weeks the place is filthy but they have high standards they run all products through metal detectors the floor is disgusting it's no wonder that anything that falls on to it gets thrown away I missed some work do the fact that I wasn't feeling well and got fired
