As we entered the elevator the carpet was filthy dirty. When we got to the room, we checked the bathroom and the shower curtain was all molded and dirty at the bottom. The pillows on the bed was lumpy. There was only 1 person per shift on the desk, which each in themselves was very nice and very cordial to us all. They need help in assisting the guest. That person cannot be at the desk and clean all rooms by themselves, or all the duties that is necessary to run a good hotel.

If I could rate this hotel a "ZERO" on a scale of 1-10 I would. I won't list the issues b/c I have contacted corporate but I will say management is horrible and refused to assist concerning my issues. It wasn't until I kept calling and asking to speak with their managers that I received some attention. This hotel is listed 3.5 stars but the service receives a "F" from me.

As a former employee of Magnuson Hotels, I would like to say that advertised Sales Positions with this company are grossly misleading. The position I took was advertised at $75-$100k annually. $1,600 was the most I made in a given month. That particular, my sales goal was exceeded by almost 70%. Benefits are laughable. Coverage for my wife and I would have been nearly $900 monthly. Job security is questionable. There were standing jokes among middle management about the high rate of firings. The work environment is political and disingenuous. People are told exactly what they want to hear. Though this company has potential, if you're looking for a career, I would advise you to keep looking.
