I'm a member at the clubhouse I've been going there since 2008 and I've been getting help by them as far as treatment and performance of volunteering and working assignments to help me stay on my feet as a person

Staff is just as eccentric as members! Lol. Just kidding. Luv ya. . I really love using my natural born talents of decorating, display, (at vintage shop) & as I found out Newscasting. Thanks Ryan. Making appetizers with my brother from another mother is an especially calming experience. Thank you Greg. Caring for plants, & koi pond has been very meditative. Photographing flowers is gratifying when you've put work into them.

Not understanding how they volunteer their time(dont get paid) for working around the center but have to pay a dollar dues. They are also billed for psychosocial support through medicaid. If they work and don't get paid, plus they are getting billed by medicaid, how is it that they pay dues of $1 a day??? How is it that they work, but don't get paid???? My family member will not be attending the center anymore. May be an explanation in writing with their policy, but it simply doesn't seem right to me.

Beautiful concept and operation in helping advance the disadvantaged. However, items that were donated were ridiculously priced by previous manager who promoted it as a high-end retail shop. The new manager, Nick, seems to be bringing this place back. Magnolia House was founded on principles and for its community. Save the Magnolia Clubhouse and preserve it before it turns into just another pretentious retail store. I ve seen this precious jewel slowly tarnish. But with the help of Nick, I think this place will be phenomenal again.

Uncomfortable, unwelcoming, difficult.

I was surrounded, PHYSICALLY and accused by six women simultaneously upon my arrival to Cleveland about my homeless situation with animals. Then, when my PTSD was triggered and I ultimately flipped out, I was told to "come back when I was having a better day." VICTIM BLAMING I also was told that was not what had happened either. Gas lighting! I know what these cheap tactics are, so you can't do them to me!

Well I see that day never is coming, a better day for me to come back. You just don't want me there I get it...The event has been minimized severely, not acknowledged at all for what it was, which is really sad and unfortunate. For me and just victims in general.

When will victims ever start being heard and stop being blamed?
