For locals it's worth buying a season pass.
Great place for family fun.
Sorry to rain on the parade but I would not recommend going to Magic Mountain until they fix some really frustrating issues.
Number 1: Looooooong Lines. Like to stand around for 30 mins or more just to get on a slide? Not me.
Number 2: Need More Life Guards at the 3 slide area. They used to have a guard for each ride, now theres only 1 so it takes longer for them to flag the rider then glance around to make sure no one else has gone then get the ok from below to send another.
Number 3: Get rid of the rental "Double Tubes". They clog up the Lazy River and give those who pony up the dough the ability to totally cut the 'Wait For A Tube' Line and jump right ahead to the Tube Wait line. I waited for a tube through 5 double tubes in a row before a single tube was available.
Number 4: Put some money back into the park. The wave pool is a sight in some areas where the edge you can grab is totally gone and there is just some concrete poorly slapped on it and the pool wall itself has some gouges in it not fixed yet. One of the newer slide rides that is on a metal tower with metal steps has lots of paint missing and rust on the steps. Who the heck uses metal in a water park without plastic coating or something.
Number 5: If you want some security for your belongings they got you by the balls. You HAVE to use their special lockers (can't bring and use your own lock) and gouge you $10 and give you back $5 if you return the key. What a scam.
In closing, Magic Mountain is no longer a fun park but is instead a tourist trap. Lure you there with promises of lots of slides and rides and fun and instead make you wait around for a second or two of fun and leave you worrying if something might collapse and harm you. I will not pay to go here again and would only grudgingly go if I had a free ticket.
If you are looking for a fun day, this is a place you are looking for! One thing to know is that after 2:30 pm it's half price!
Great place for a summer cooloff or as a small group birthday destination
You might feel the waves from the wave pool in bed that night and the kamikaze may make you grit your teeth
Also the Turbo Tunnel is nearly enough g-force to make me stop breathing
But very fun and worth the lines
Excellent day trip for a newly graded child :) had an excellent day this past Saturday finally managed to conquer my fear of the kamikaze
Line up for everything mountain, to park your car, to buy your ticket, and that is just the start of it. Apparently they have unlimited capacity at this place, you just have to wait for everything, but wait, if you pay more you get a special tube, and you get to jump the queue making the wait even longer for those that know nothing about this. Scam, but some of the kids had fun, so one star.
A fun family water park with an arcade near a zoo not to far from down town moncton.
Fantastic place for adults, kids and alk who like water
it is pretty good only for the first two times then it gets boring
Such a fun place place to exspecially with the fun zone
Enjoyed our time here was things for all abilities and ages! Personally loved the wave pool and the lazy river was a great relaxing trip!
It's outdoor and has everything for the whole family, regardless of age
Wonderful place for the whole family. It can be fairly expensive, so if you plan to go, I suggest getting the most from your money and spend the whole day.
The zoo had cool animals and was fun. The water park wasn't opened in May when we visited.
We just did the splash zone. Other than one slide, seems pretty much the same as it was 30 years ago (except smaller ). Pretty expensive to spend a day there. Maybe getting a pass to all zones would be better. Regardless, needs a major update.
It's an amazing water park to take a day and spend with family and friends but the cost is a lot but it is worth it in the end
If you are looking for a great day of water fun, this is your spot in Atlantic Canada. The slides are fantastic and the park is well maintained. The staff at times can be a little less then awesome however. Some work on customer service and proper life-guarding techniques and practices would go a long way. They are safe however! You can do a variety of other activities that can be done dry as well. The price can be a little expensive but if you are their for the day you get your moneys worth. be careful on days with poor weather and be clear on the refund policies!
Best water park around! - only water park around.. Kamikaze is awesome! Lazy river and the wave pool are lots of fun too!
Little expensive, line ups were long for the bigger slides
Great place to cool down from the sun. Very family friendly. 10$ to rent a locker for the day . They refund 5$ after you return the key.
Nice place to have fun but be prepared for long queues for each activity.
The family had a ton of fun here from open to close. Slides were in good condition and even at max covid capacity the lineups were never terrible. The staff did a good job ensuring proper precautions were being taken. There were a few snack options, but the restaurant was closed. Great spot to take the family!
Super fun for kids with lots of great water slides.
A little pricey but the amount of fun that you get for the money is worth it as long as you stay all day
Had a great time going down the slides and whatever but let me tell ya there were some good lookin lifeguards there so if someone can hmu with the one with dark brown hair and sunglasses name that would be good bc he was a cutie
The owner of MM greeted us at the entrance, showed us around! The staff members were friendly and polite... They made our July 1st family day amazing! Thanks Mr Jelley for making this day so memorable!!!
Love the lazy river. Great that they do evening rates
Horrible place. Do not ever go here if you value your health and family safety. Equivalent to Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansa City where Caleb Thomas Schwab, the son was killed while riding the Verruckt ride at - August 7th.
You can bring your dog. The kennels were designed by someone smart. Lots of shade water and very clean and free. There is plenty of shade for families and fun for hours.
My neice and nephew came to visit me in Moncton and of course we had to visit Magic Mountain. They had never been there before. One is 6, other is 10. My 13 yr old son came as well. The kids had a great time. I found the park to be super clean, there were lots of staff around, very friendly and helpful and so much to do. My 6 years old nephew was to small to go some of the rides/slides, he loved wave pool. They simple Life jackets for ones who aren't best swimmers. There was plenty for the us to do. After 2:30pm it's a cheaper entery.
if you are a larger person .... do NOT waste your $$ on a bracelet for the "fun zone" (the fair rides) i was rooked into getting one, and due to size was only able to do 1 ride !!!! ..... was reimbursed however they were good that way.
Lobster Boil game and fabulous Beaver Tails are a must and you don't have to pay to get into those things!
Nice water park, but usually very busy on sunny summer days.
Great watermark, lots of cool rides. Water could have been warmer in the lazy river but that's my only grumble.
Beautiful! Well organized park. One one thing magic mountain lacks is music on the wave pool, as there was no music though we enjoyed thoroughly. It's a good place to spend a day with family and friends.
Great!!! The Lines For The Slides Were Long But Worth The Wait
Everything's organized and spaced evenly apart, not the biggest place so letting your kids run free with a meeting spot works great here . Food farerly priced. That goes for the water park and fun zone (dry rides).
Really fun day for the price and food there is surprisingly cheap, and they let you bring your own food in.
Not the best water park I've been to but still fun. The speed slides are really exciting to go down; it's almost a straight drop! Try to arrive early and avoid peak times. That way you spend less time waiting in line and more time riding slides.
This is a well known and good water park. It has a variety of rides that are for the whole family. There is something for most people here, but don't expect giant slides or big thrills. Still great for a hot afternoon. There is also the fun zone next door if you are looking for smaller and dryer rides for children. Overall this isn't the biggest or best water park in the world. But you can't find better anywhere nearby.
First time there and loved It!!!
I would recommend it
Great place for family fun. A little pricy for what you get. Hasn't been updated in years. Also should be an option to use slides or not. $30 to use the wave pool and lazy river is a little bit much.
Every time my I go with my family I have a blast so much fun and family friendly
Wish there was more things for my 5 year old and not just my 9 year old.
Love it but spent 230 on season passes and only went twice for few hours :( thats almost a mth income for me
Lots of fun wait times are long for water slides otherwise a fantastic place for kids
Your kids will LOVE you, and beavertails are to die for very yummy treat.
We had a blast here on vacation! If the weather is warm, then chill out here!!
This place is a total money grab..Not worth the money. First, Don't bring any extra people because even your elderly mother will have to pay full price just to observe. The prices are crazy considering they haven't upgraded in years if ever. HORRIBLE wait times, we waited over an hour for ONE slide. After this we were so discouraged that we left. Gave the funzone a shot, which was even worse. They charge a fortune just to ride one (out of 5) of their outdated recycled rides. The arcade games last for about 2 seconds and it's done.. All of the employees are a bunch of middle school kids, They were very mature and Overall dont treat theit guests very wrll. We were very disappointed and will not be returning.
Haven't been there is years, it never lost its magic.
