This place has a different, but very unique vibe. It seems like a throwback to a 1920's speakeasy, but set in "turn of the century" China. The extremely private and discrete secret rooms are at great place to hang out with a date. I am not into smooth Jazz though, so the music was the one thing that didn't do it for me. If you like mellow Jazz though, head down the wooden stairs and check it out.

A very nice old Chinese Themed bar. Good for live music nights and dance later at night... Though off late wish they had better bands. Alcohol is a tad expensive but you are paying for the ambience so I didn't mind at all.

Maggie Choo s follows the speakeasy bar concept. You need to walk through a Chinese noodle bar to get into the hidden bar.
A lot of love to atmosphere and decorations which is worth a visit. You are sipping your drinks in an old vault and being brought back in time to the old prohibition days. The surroundings are of an Opium den with girls dancing, performing and smoking.
Great cocktails!

Nice bar with the best live music we have seen in Bangkok.
When arriving they put us to a table and some seats behind the bar where we couldn't see anything of the stage. We asked to sit at the other side but they said we couldn't although there was space. Later we could move to the bar where we could see the band.
The band was really great. We didn't expect to see a group this good in Bangkok. We also spoke with a guy next to us at the bar. He is living in Bangkok and comes here for the good music.

Loved the queens, 2 of them were from Rupaul Thailand drag race !!! but the place is too popular for its own good, too crowded to see the shows even if you reserve a table. Maybe a higher stage or different layout would help

Quite interesting place. It is small but has nice atmosphere with jazz music by band and some bouncy club style music at late evening. Dark at most of time and customers are all mixed from young to middle age. Jazz band and their singer did well performed but selection of song list could be better. We will visit again.

Easy bar, fancy interior, high prices worth it. Dress code no shorts or sportswear, sneakers ok. Check the program online beforehand to not be disappointed. Amazing vibes from old times, sexy Chinese style ladies on swings etc.

Great interior decorating and seems like a comfortable, stylish place for live music and cocktails. While gorgeous, not sure about the burlesque type dancers and how this fit, but I wasn't complaining. The trio playing was very good with a wonderful jazz and blues singer from Atlanta. I felt bad as the room was not crowded. I appreciate the effort to make this a sophisticated spot and hope will continue. Forgot, the cocktails were very tasty and well made which seems to be spoty in Bangkok.
