If you want inconsistent food and subpar drinks served to you by rude servers, this is your place. Trivia is a good time, though.

Food was average at best and service was between bad and terrible. If you are a student you probably don't care but any visitors go right next door for better service and food.

Great pub with a red-brick industrial feel. Excellent food (especially brunch) with large portions. A little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

The staff is friendly, and the drinks are good. The food is nothing great though. Long wait time.

We came during the summer, so it was pretty empty. I can imagine during the fall it must be packed. Very good food actually and a nice selection of beer including local PROOF brewery!! Drink local.

The drinks are unique and the food is really good. Simple menu but everything is specialized and delicious. Staff is helpful and they're great during game days. A staple establishment in the FSU community! A MUST-TRY restaurant!

A disappointing experience.
Five days in advance my co-workers and I booked a champagne social for a farwell party. As a former restaurant manger I was appalled by the level of service we received. We chose to order our drinks and share multiple appetizers. I ordered the ceviche. After 15 minutes the waiter told me it would be another 5 minutes. Later I ordered my second cocktail and half way through that the waiter again said it would be a few minutes. Some members of the party later requested their checks and I still hadn't received my appetizer. A collegue has a severe soy allergy and asked about the ingredients in one dish to determine if she could eat it, but sadly the waiter never provided her an answer. An hour into our visit another young man was clearing plates and I told him that I wanted to cancel my order. He responded with, "I'm not your server" and walked away. Our waiter came to the table and told me he heard that I wanted to cancel my order and offered to bring my ceviche in a to go box! I declined the offer and he returned with a coupon for a free drink to use during my next visit (I don't think I'll have a reason to ever come back.) More members of our party were requesting their checks and we had not been offered our champagne. I requested the champagne and upon return our waiter managed to drop a glass and douse two of us with champagne. The champagne toast was enjoyable, until I received my bill and I was charged for the appetizer I never recieved. Lastly, I went to the restroom and returned to find that my half glass of champagne and water had been cleared.

Pretty great place with a bunch of friendly people and when I do come at night, security is always so happy to see us like it's unreal, food is fantastic and drinks are super good.

Good place to share, outside of alcoholic beverages

I am giving a 3 because we received excellent service. Our waiter was quick, attentive and very accommodating. I visited with my family for my fathers birthday. They are open until 2 AM, however their kitchen closes at 10. We had just left an FSU basketball game so we got there 10 min prior to their kitchen closing. It was kind of annoying that this information wasn t relayed on their website. Additionally, I was not impressed by the menu. There were not many options and 5 out 7 of us all got the MadSo burger as it was the only thing that seemed appetizing and it was. The burger was great. The atmosphere is more bar than restaurant. There was very little light to really dine appropriately. Most of the reviews I read raved about this place and I was overall underwhelmed. I think I will stick to Primetime.

Fun time for sure, liked eating and drinking on the patio overlooking the FSU Main Campus Fields. Also liked the music and being able to walk around college town afterward. During the summer, parking was not a problem. I really dig walkable areas with nice, wide side walks.

BLT dip with bread was delicious!!! Very close to the stadium, within walking distance. 2 of us had burgers that were very good and other had tacos that he liked. Good service, nice atmosphere. Would go here again.

Brunch is Fire. Trivia is Fire. Staff is Fire. Vibe is Fire. You should go.

It was an okay place, the atmosphere felt very forced. Overall, I didn't particularly enjoy it and would rather go to midtown.

Went for brunch this past Sunday. Loved the atmosphere and service was great! Had the steak Rancheros was so damnnn good! Highly recommended! Definitely will be back!

Great place to enjoy a game on TV, while having a drink

I went last Friday to Madison Social with a group of friends. Not only did we have a great meal (can't go wrong with the hummus, wings or Madso burger), but the staff was great on suggesting different beers to try as well. Several friends enjoyed their signature drinks. Always a great time at Madison Social.

Parking isn't the best since you have to pay to park. Food is good and service isn't bad. Lots of brunch options on Sunday. Decent atmosphere and very casual.

I like this place. Cole slaw is awesome if you like spicy. Wish they made one without serrano's so everyone can enjoy

Food and drinks are delicious. However my visit there was a mix-up in the kitchen resulting in our food took a while to come which meant I ate cold food.

Loud music for brunch and my dish (the Bradley Cow Tongue Club) was disgusting. I took my first whiff of my sandwich and I gagged. I had high hopes for my 29th wedding anniversary falling on Easter Sunday, but it was disappointing. But, the wait staff was good. My waitress asked me how everything was. I told her the Bradley was terrible. She merely walked away and did nothing.

The go-to gastropub if you are looking for a great Friday or Saturday night. Their brunch is also top-notch and definitely worth it if you need to recharge after a long night. I highly recommend the chick-fil-b sandwich on Sundays when you-know-who is closed.

Great food. My Guinness was perfect temp and pour. Big Fit Greek was really good. Will be my pregame place this year. If we can play some late games

Great atmosphere. Great food. Can't go wrong with the burger and the orange habanero wings are amazing. Also had brunch recently. Nutella pizza. You won't be disappointed.

Last night they had a DJ, and he blasted music way too loud. This place would be much better if it had decent music volume. My ears are still ringing. It's not a club...I wanna be social, not yell. Control your DJ's, MadSo.

Wayyyyy to expensive for sub par food and drinks. The events are fun but the population there is chalk full of the typically fratty, sorority cult kids.

Not a great experience... I have eaten here in the past and had amazing food and service today was not the case. I was in the same group as another reviewer and the response from the owner was that our server told it would be a 30 wait for food and that is not correct, after we ordered and had been waiting a bit, the server came by to apologize for the delay and stated it was because of the larger party. I ordered the Sliced Steak Baguette and it typically served Medium Rare today it was well done and dry. I would also appreciate if you could bring back the garlic green bean, instead of only having fries as an option.

Friend and I went for brunch on a Sunday, this was our second visit and LAST visit. The bartender served us Mimosas with I-C-E in it!!! Yes Champagne...served..with...ice. The "mimosa" was premixed, watered-down, and served in a mug/jar...really!!! The bartender saw the confused look on my face and stated "Management new policy, I don't agree with it either". Mimosas are a brunch STAPLE!! The fact that this establishment is cutting corners on such an inexpensive drink made me question the quality of food as well. As I look around to see what others were drinking, it was mostly college aged patrons. **Ah, now I see**. We left and went to a brunch two doors down which was really good. Two stars because the bartender was friendly, we still tipped him.

Service was nice, but overall atmosphere was subpar. Felt generic and was way over priced for "interesting" food. Probably won't go again.

I ve been going there since they opened highly recommend the BLT Dip and tater tot nachos thing. The beer selection is good too. I give it three stars for the service. Not the waitresses though, so far all have been sweet and accommodating. The bar staff have been pretty cold and at times rude. And one time a group and I won a contest there and the managers gave us problems about splitting the winnings, they refused to give us all a gift cards instead of one giant one. Which isn t a big deal, it was just how they handled the situation. Our submission brought them a lot of social media attention and they acted as if they did us a favor.

I went there for the Lavender Lemonade special they were having. Overall it was an okay experience; for one, it took around thirty minutes for our orders to come through. The food wasn't all that great, but the lemonade was tasty.

I had a take out egg sandwich and it was delicious. The restaurant is immaculate and has a fun and quirky decor making your dining experience even more enjoyable. The service was excellent and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. If you enjoy eggs Benedict you can find them here. Their menu is diverse and should meet the needs of most families.

Actually good food and good bartenders. I slightly prefer Township across the street, though...

Attended for a Christmas party for my husband's work. It was "OK". It's a good location, and has a cool interior feel. The wait staff was very nice. Ridiculously overpriced drinks (considering that we were drinking domestic beer). Felt a tad older than the college crowd that seems to dominate. I don't see myself retuning unless I have an event or other engagement to attend.

I wish that Madison Social and College town were available when I was regularly in Tallahassee. The food at Madison Social is very trendy but delicious. The portion sizes are a bit small while the prices are a little high, but the quality is outstanding. Each time that I've ate here a different selection from the menu topped the last one. Madison Social is also active in the community with events, fundraisers, etc. for locals to enjoy. Madison Social is a fun place that is worth a visit.

More of a bar than restaurant. They have fun trivia events though.

I visited my kids this past weekend and we wanted to find a nice place for a brunch on Saturday before my mother and I headed back home, approximately 2-1/2 hours from Tallahassee. My son suggested Madison Social. My mother and I were trying to get a table while my daughter and her friend parked the car and my son was on his way. I have never been so disgusted with the treatedment we received from the hostess who saw us standing there and completely ignored us, started chit chatting with what I assumed was another hostess, and they proceeded to take selfies while we were standing there. I finally had to ask them if we could get a table. After we were seated a server came and asked if we wanted a drink, we asked for coffee. There were four of as at this time. She brought the coffee and left, no napkins or silverware. I caught her attention to ask for a spoon and she brings ONE!! There are four of us with coffee!! By the time my son got there I was disgusted with the service and ready to leave. He spoke with the manager who apologized, but a little too late. Their prices are ridiculously high and I will NEVER go back! We ended up at this place called the Lunchbox! It is a little hole in the wall, but the people are super friendly, the best pancakes and burgers ever and their burgers and sweet potato fries are the best! I only gave Madison Social one cause I couldn t give them half.

Excellent restaurant. Great place to watch sports. Their chicken fingers are the best!

I got the blackberry jalepeno chicken wings, fries, and the Madison mule and everything was soooooooooooo good! Wish we had this place in Dallas because I would definitely be here regularly for this food.

When I visit my daughter, she and her friends always want to go to Madison Social. It never disappoints us. This last time we ordered an appetizer of Buffalo Cauliflower, it was amazing! The turkey meatball lettuce wraps were ok, they would have been better they weren't so dry.

Food is pretty good, drinks are good, good beer list, but the prices are a bit high. Atmosphere is the main reason I visit. Best marketing!

loud & fun. reallly cool interior. food was excellent. we had fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and it came with grilled shrimp ... a nice surprise. chicken n dumplings, seafood pasta and salmon also delicious.

Danette, I am one of the women who was sitting at the table in which you refer to. The manager in question is a very good friend of ours. He only sat down for a few mins to catch up and chat... I'm not sure why you thought we were annoyed with his presences, I don't recall anything being said. This was the second year we've gone to Madison for Mother's day brunch. Our serves was wonderful as always.

MadSo is a lively restaurant for lunch or dinner and a fun bar for happy hour or late-night shenanigans. The menu is interesting and the atmosphere is spot on, but can be a bit loud. Service is usually above-average. Sit outside if you can.

Great for game day drinks. It's always packed at the bar and outside but the bartenders work hard to keep things moving.

Not a place for anyone over 25. Over priced for the food quality.

Great location and food. The private meeting hall can get a little loud from the rest of the bar but its a good place to meet for parties.

Super cowed, staff was too busy to be friendly, wait for a table was 1.5 hours, full of college students (not that's there's anything wrong with that though). Good beer selection.

Every time we've visited the food has been great and love the open air atmosphere (on the cooler days anyway). Their deal with Seminole Sitters seems to be a great idea and plan to use them in the future for date nights. Even though it's basically on campus, it has never been too crazy; has a chill vibe.

Just READ the order. This is at least the second time I have been given french fries instead of the side-salad that I ordered. Just READ! Damn
