I had the Madso Burger. It was really delicious. Strongly recommend it! Service was fast and friendly.

Nice and interesting menu. Nice place to go for a quick but and good cocktail. Not romantic but definitely social and enjoyable. The food was just a bit above average but worth the price points they've set. We'd go back for sure.

Good food and location, service is a little slow but atmosphere makes up for it.

I heard a waiter (Mid 20's with dark brown hair) making fun of my friends table on her birthday. He was just making fun of them being sorority girls and such. Pretty crappy. I get your a bar / restaurant in a college town but thats pretty rude.

I absolutely love this place! I recommend it to all my friends and sometimes take my co-workers there for lunch. If you can't decide on which one of their menu items to order, I highly recommend the Madso burger...........best burger in Tally!

Wish I would have gone later in the day. First time visit and the drink menu looked enticing. Brunch items seems to be sold all day. Large local university crowd.

Nice place. Definitely a younger crowd. Right in the middle of college town. Food is very good. The menu was not large. Their Burger was excellent. However, the slaw was terrible. Had absolutely no flavor at all. And I was really looking forward to it. Get any other side dish and it'll be fine except that.

Excellent food, outstanding drinks. Kevin Monroe, the bartender was top notch! Fantastic service, great experience. A must visit in Tallahassee.

Brunch is delicious. I have completely replaced my wardrobe with the monthly challenge shirts. Just keep in mind, to get a seat, you must eat food. Our two most recent visits, we were "removed" several times from a table because we only ordered drinks. They told us we could sit at the bar but there were no seats at the bar. We ended up just standing awkwardly next to an empty table in the middle of the isle while we drank $80 in drinks to finish our card to get our monthly challenge shirts. It will more than likely be our last challenge and our last visit. But if you don't mind not having any where to sit while there are open seats, it's a great place.

Always a good time. I love its industrial decor and how its open to the outdoors. Great food and fun drinks. Overlooks FSU.

Noisy, busy, FSU college crowd, cheerful servers, interesting menu items, good food.

Fun place to watch the game when it's away, or you couldn't grab tickets. Sunday brunch is good too.

Overpriced food and slow/bad service. Not sure why so many people seem to like it. I only go here for social functions. Portion sizes are dismal and I always leave hungry and feeling cheated. Also, no handicap parking in easy range. Metered parking only unless you can walk a good distance.

Edit in response to owner: My review of the parking was meant for those who are handicapped to know, as it is not readily apparent until you get there, and not a reflection on my review of the restaurant.

Didn't care for it at all and the drinks didn't make it any better. Drinks tasted horrible!

2 hours for lunch, 3 small pieces of bacon on my sandwich, no response from manager, refilled,nasty ketchup bottles. Will not return

This was my first time in Tallahassee. We(my wife and I) were in town for the Florida State football game from MI. Madison Square was recommenced by a lot of people. It was really busy when we arrived (5:30) but that was because the block party was about to start and it was a Friday night. Even though they were busy we were seated right away. Our server (Dani) was awesome. She was very tentative. Our drinks were alway full. The food was very very good. I had a burger and my which had the chicken strips. Honestly it was the best food we had in a long time. It did get busier as the night went on but the server stayed excellent. The vibe are great there as well. If your looking for a good time, good drink, good food, and good service, I highly recommend going to Madison Social.

Great food and cocktails! Food is between $10-$15. Cocktails around $8. However, beer isn't as reasonably priced. Love the atmosphere and outdoor seating! Feels like a sports bar during the lunch and dinner hours. The nightlife is filled with college students. Great place for food and drinks.

This place was great! Try the BLT dip, soooo good! Our whole,group had burgers and we all loved them. You can tell by the design of this place and it's proximity to the stadium that it's probably a huge hang out before a game!

Trivia night is a lot of fun and a great way to me ppl that are interested in something similar. Food and service great.

Bonus: great place to bring your dog. You will see lots of cute dogs!

Food was okay, drinks were above average, but bathroom cleanliness was abysmal. I understand the distressed aesthetic, but the mirror was covered in water and soap spray, the toilet paper dispensers had a dubious film of filth and I didn't want to touch the door to the stall. The check included a covid surcharge and a large party auto grat, that I actually believe is a plus (I feel like very many restaurants are too afraid to stand up for their crew when it comes to things like this, so I commend Madison Social for the policy), but it is something to take into consideration when chosing where to go. I feel like the service wasn't playing with a full deck because the kitchen had problems getting the food out at the same time, but it was a slow Monday close to open for a decently large party, so I'd say they did well enough. The main take away here is the state of the amenities. I probably wouldn't go back next time I was in Tallahassee

I have never done a review for my experience at a restaurant but I believe this needs to be addressed. Evan mentioned it was his first day on the job. He was very helpful. Although it was his first day, his hospitality/nice gestures were more superior to his coworkers. Evan was very knowledgeable about the menu and although he was servicing more than 3 tables, he was very attentive to our needs and showed up at the right time. Evan sets a great example as to how people in the restaurant should conduct themselves. The food was great, but his service blew me away.

Surprisingly great food. Large beer selection and low prices. Their biscuits are huge and flavorful. I ordered the Madison Burger and it was filled with complex flavors. The chicken and waffles were fluffy with a hint of spice. I highly recommend this place.

I came in one day for lunch. The bartender with the bright red hair was amazing. She made sure my husband and I and everything we needed and more. We were asking her where we should go in town that would interest us. She was amazing!!! I would definitely come back just to have her help us again!!!! She gave us the best service I have seen so far in Tallahassee. Not to mention the food was good too!!!

If I can have hottie Harry Potter, oops I mean Taylor, wait on me every time... I'll come back more often.

I'm originally from West Palm Beach Florida, and I came to Tallahassee to move some stuff out of my brother's dormitory. We decided to go to Madison Social for a quick bite to eat. Everyone here greated us, and was very genuine. But the food was mediocre. We started off with the BLT dip, it had to much sourcream and needed more bacon, tomato, and etc. Then I got the Fried Chicken Handheld, which was ok. The bun was very soggy, and the fried bit was very difficult to stay on the chicken. The fries were well seasoned and very appetizing. I don't think I would come back.

I go here mostly for the atmosphere.The food is ok, but I found the tater tots to be bland and even though my husband loves how crispy the chicken fingers are, i'm not a fan. I'd give the food a mediocre at best. The service is good and the prices are fair. It's a nice place to gather for drinks with friends while watching the game for sure.

Be sure to make reservations to get there early if you want to go for brunch. Had to wait over an hour to get food.

But the food was delicious and filling and the cocktails very tasty. The coffee cocktail of Lucky Goat cold brew coffee and maple bourbon is delicious.

So I went to Madison Social during happy on Friday and Jerry the Bartender was very rude like he didn t want to be at work . I was asking Jerry questions that any customer would ask like what drinks are can I get for happy hour.. Etc but instead of Jerry responding like he wanted to help he did the opposite as in response with a attitude. When I come to Madison Social I usually get good customer service but that day was not it..

The beers are not always served cold ... Many of the ones I ordered were hot. However the place is splendid to talk or watch sports games in group

Definitely a great place. One of the leaders in College Town. I prefer it as a place to gather & watch sports, etc. vs. going for brunch, but that may just be me.

Great brunch. A little pricier than most locations around, but worth it.

Very good food! The BLT dip is on point! The chicken and waffles are amazing. My husband said it was one of the best waffles he has ever had. You can tell it's all homemade. Worth the stop to check it out!

kitchen was really slow. drinks were good, food was fresh. prices are a little high. I would have preferred more selection.

We have tried to enjoy MadSo so many times since its opened but everytime we are sorely let down. The foot is subpar at best and make some of the worst food pairings. The service is never good. We are always looking for the server and hoping they come back soon.

Great college or young professional place to meet up. Do not plan on any meaningful conversations after lunch time as the music is very loud. However great atmosphere to decompress and catch up after a long day.

Slow service, absurdly loud music. Menu is interesting but small and poorly executed, beer list has some good local and regional examples. More for the scene than for the food and drink.

Had buffalo chicken salad. Very tasty and large portion

Great location. Great look. But I asked for a glass of Riesling and was given Malbec ( I think). Those two are very different, hopefully it's just a mixup and not something the bar tender didn't know. Other than that my experience was great and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

This is by far my favorite spot in town!! From the great staff to the awesome food, it s always on point. As a local, I can also take advantage of all their special events. These make MadSo a Tally staple.

They don't offer reservations and each night I went there was an hour wait. We decided to wait the hour then when we got inside they told us they were "understaffed" after being seated we still had to wait 30 extra minutes for our server to get to the table and tell us that they are out of HALF OF THE MENU!!!!! I personally saw atleast 5 extra staff members walking up and down the restaurant when they could've been serving! I asked one of those people walking around multiple times to contact my server for me in which she STILL didn't come, I dont understand how you could ask people what they want without telling them you're out of half of the menu! Im not sure if ill be returning to this restaurant... we ended up leaving because they were out of everything we want so this was the biggest waste of time!

When in Tallahassee at FSU don t miss a chance to eat at Madison Social!! Delicious food and fun atmosphere!

Tried to call in a pick-up order on a Sunday but apparently they only do brunch menu on sunday. Mind you, the menu barely varries in difference. All I wanted was a Veggie Haystack but that s one of the 4 items that isnt included for brunch. Brunch or not I know they could have made me one if they wanted. On another note, it s as if the woman on the phone had no idea what i was talking about when I mentioned the item ( veggie haystack?? ) and when I wanted to clarrify something, it s as if she never had a converation before or simply was not paying attention because I asked a question and all she said was ok thank you and just hung up, I was like what the hell just happened? . Not too eager to go back.

I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. My friend and I had just gotten our first drinks and we re sitting at the bar talking. He and I share a kiss and then go back to talking when two bouncers come up and take away his drink and force us to leave. The staff that forced us out would not give us their names or tell us why we were being told to leave. As a Tallahassee local who has spent a lot of money coming to Madison social, township, and central I am extremely disappointed in this local company and would urge caution to anyone of the LGBT community that considers going here.

Love the food and drinks. One of the best brunch places in town. They have a special pancake stack of the month that is always to die for!

Very pleasant spot for lunch. Food prepared well. Not a huge menu, but dealt with specific requests without errors.

Best bar hand down in Tallahassee, prime location close to campus, near two breweries and bars. Brunch is good but not great. They do change up the menu every so often.
