They seem to be in a hurry to get you off the phone, as if agitatated that you called. I've tried endlessly since 2010 to get an application for section 8 housing for a single disabled person. Every time monthly for the past 8 years I have received the same answer-- there's a 2 year waiting period and it will be announced. Unless you are calling me there is no announcement!!

First let me state that I have no issue with the HUD program, I just don't see how anything positive twords the people whom Macon housing authority is supposed to serve can ever prosper from the HUD program and achieve the goal of home ownership with so much corruption and favouritism from and not excluding the bottom to the top management.The lies and deception are without any kind of Care to the people whom they are supposed to serve.

I sat there in the waiting area till almost closing time. I am always professional, clean and polite. I have an adult child severely intellectually
disabled whom I had with me waiting. I filled out the application and handed it to them and waited. Just before closing a lady came to me and said she didn't know I hadn't been seen. The information they gave me was incorrect and it led me to spend time searching for help I could not receive. I explained I was homeless, but live with my elderly mom who daily explains she wants us out because it is hard living with us and our things in there because we can't afford another storage place. This Housing Authority have members who are doing evil things to people and are laughing about it as they do me EVERY time I come. If I could give no stars I would. They should be reported to the BBB.

They Never Answer the phone weather it be for some one wanting to put in an application or some one that has done work for them and trying to get a payment

Good place to get several service for individual or family success

Very nice place I called the lady answer my question and went did application is on thursday.
