Machaba Camp is a fantastically well run camp, the staff are very friendly and happy, management is excellent (they catered very well for a vegan in our group) and the accommodation/facilities are superb.
The guide we had (Glen), what a great guy, very enthusiastic and friendly the game drives were super. There was a sense of a very active and well run camp where the guests feel very well looked after and special.

Brilliant place. The start were amazing, all really friendly and made you feel very welcome. Fantastic food with good variety between the different meals and days.
Our guide was incredible, he was very knowledgeable and able to get us into great positions to see the wildlife and then talk about it.
The camp was really comfortable and we always felt safe (from animals) with staff taking you to the tent after dark. The tent itself was spacious with good storage and an amazing bed.

Wonderful experience in an exceptional location. Great food, great staff and exhilarating safaris. Our guide Leopard was amazing. Knew where all the animals were (wild dogs, lions, leopards, elephants, hippos etc), made the best G&Ts for sundowners and then gave us a cosmology lesson. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.
Everything was top notch from the service to the accommodation to the food and everything in between. A stunning location with nature all around; this includes animals such as elephants and hippos! We stayed for three nights but could have stayed for a lifetime. I hope I get the opportunity to return someday.

Food!..... let me tell you... I am Coeliac... ( not able to tolerate wheat, rye, barley, oats etc) .... I have never in all my years felt so included. Or special....here I am in a camp in Botswana & having the most exceptional food ever! A huge thank you to your dedicated chef! Seriously, I can t express enough what this place means to me..... OMG we haven t even started on the fabulous guide we had to show us his hood .... his passion, his world, so infornative,, dedicated knowledge & great respect of the wild, thank you Kisto... you are amazing & we wish you great prosperity in your life. The camp has great facilities and each store has all the amenities. To highlight the personalized attention, the delicious food and many means to do all kinds of safaris. We saw elephants, lions, hippos, impalas, antelopes, giraffes, zebras, leopards, licaons, many birds ... The stay was unforgettable! It is important to know that the camp is not fenced and animals circulate freely. We had a movidita night with a lion hanging around our store ...
Great camp with very friendly staff. We have driven our game drives with BD (guide) and trainee CAR, BD has attention and feeling what you would like to see and takes into account the light for taking photos. All employees thanks !!!!!
Absolutely stunning camp. Being on the ground has a total different feel to a camp that's decked up. Loved everything about it. Staff were so welcoming and hospitable. Big thank you specially to Masole and our guide B.t. B.t was super knowledgable and tried his best to get us to see "everything on our list". He was just great. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay soooo incredible.
