Great experience!! They have a wide assortment of delicious products. We picked up wine, cider, salad dressing, and apple jam. The owner is extremely kind and even gave us a wine sample and some apple cider donuts for free. Dog friendly is a major plus as well! Highly recommend to anyone in or passing through the area. Will def return again!
This place has the best apple cider donuts in the Berkshires! The apple cider is delicious! Wine tastings are so much fun! A must stop in the fall to walk through the beautiful apple trees!
Hilltop is one of the most beautiful gems in the Berkshires! From their apples to donuts, wine to schnapps, you have to visit. Stay for a wine tasting around a fire or walk their private trails with a 360 degree mountain view. What an awesome place with awesome people running it!
Went on Sunday for some apple picking. It was our first visit here and had a great time. The have parking in several places, and when we arrived around 10:30am there was not many people.
They are currently asking to schedule a time in advance, but you can still show up with out an appointment. Due to the virus pandemic, they are charging a 3$ fee per person to avoid having to raise prices, which seemed like a fair deal. The good thing is they are not charging by the pound but instead by the bag. So be sure to fill your bag to make it fully worth it.
The trees seemed to be a little older, taller, and wilder than some of the orchards I have been to in the past. We still managed to fill our lage and medium bags, but it wasn't easy finding them as there were fewer apples this year due to the drier weather conditions this region has been experiencing. Not to mention an earlier than usual frost. We bought some of their doughnuts and wow they were great, even a day later! They were very moist and not dry like you would get at some places.
Overall we had a great time and will add this to list of orchards we have to visit again.
Absolutely loved my experience here, if you're visiting the area this place is a must stop. Every flavor of the hard ciders are delicious and anyone who considereds themselves a cider fan will love them, and if you're not they'll turn you into one! Customers service was A+, hopefully will be back for more.
Had such a great time snowshoeing with my dog Winnie! The owners are so nice and welcoming, their donuts are delicious, and the trails are really well maintained. We loved it so much, we came back a second day! I highly recommend
Love this place! Been coming here for 10 yrs and let me say I LOVE THIS PLACE! Great atmosphere, wine and cider donuts and pies!!! Freshly made!! Winter , Spring, summer and fall this is where you want to be. Sarah and David are amazing and the staff is so friendly. Love me all the wines and I will continue to come back! Apple picking and they die something with skiing... I don't skii but I've heard nothing but great things! Come check this place out!! You won't be disappointed.
Absolutely loved this place! It was the first stop on my birthday weekend getaway and it was such a wonderful experience. The inside is so cute and cozy and the mini wine bottle made for a perfect wine tasting. Sara was the sweetest and made sure we had an amazing time! Apple cider donuts are incredible and I will definitely be back whenever I get a chance!
Me and my wife got a suggestion from a waitress at Rosie s restaurant in Lenox to visit this nice little gem. We met Sara and she was such a grand host and so very friendly. The Hard Cider was fantastic and the best we ve had in the US. We walked out with two wines and three 4-packs of hard cider. Very nice place, wonderful setting.
My wife and I visited Feb 26th. The property is spectacular and has a trail system into woods around the orchard. Great spot to snow shoe in winter or hike otherwise. You can pick apples in season. They produce wines and various hard apple ciders, non alcoholic cider, preserves, donuts, etc. We sampled several products and purchased hard cider. Quality products. Highly recommend visiting this place.
