My Mom Recovered
My 74-year-old mother had not been in the best of health, and on the 9th of August, she developed symptoms of a cold, cough, and fever. I administered Dolo 500, which gave her slight relief. However, by the afternoon of the 10th, her condition worsened dramatically—her oxygen levels plummeted to 37, and she began gasping for breath.
I immediately called for an ambulance from MS Ramaiah Hospital. The ambulance arrived within 15 minutes and promptly began oxygen support. She was rushed to the hospital, where the emergency team, led by Dr. Kusum, responded with urgency and care. Thanks to their quick action, she was stabilized and shifted to the ICU.
In the ICU, my mother received exceptional medical attention. She was admitted under the care of the Nephrology team—Dr. Mahesh and Dr. Shruthi—who closely monitored her and ensured she received timely and appropriate treatment. On the third day, she was moved to a private room, Pulmonology team also took care of her especially Dr. Vipin’s kind, empathetic, and light-hearted demeanor brought much-needed comfort and reassurance to our family during this extremely difficult time.
Today, my mother is alive and steadily recovering—a miracle we credit entirely to the expertise, dedication, and compassion of the medical staff at MS Ramaiah Hospital.
